Got my car towed from one mechanic to this mechanic because the first one's fix didn't work and…read morethey don't do transmission work. The tow truck took a long time. Eagle was aware that it should have arrived, and the shop owner took the initiative to call me to check on the status before closing shop. Thankfully Eagle has a key drop, so the tow arriving after hours was fine. They must have looked my car over immediately the next day, because diagnostics were done quickly and I got a call early that morning. They kept me in the loop about the repair, explained what they were doing and why, answered the phone consistently to answer follow up questions I had, and went even more into detail about the repair when I arrived and asked additional questions about the mechanics of it. Just like a doctor who answers your questions, a mechanic who does the same helps put you at ease. It wasn't cheap (& what transmission work is?), but it was incredibly fast and I had my car back and repaired the same day diagnostics were run. Plus, the parts & labor came with a 1-year/12,000 mile warranty.

I brought my 2011 Ranger in, they were able to diagnose a substantial fluid leak and gave a very reasonable estimate. Not the "you need a new transmission" estimate that I was expecting. I would recommend Buddhist garage to anybody and everybody. I have a 2018 Audi and I was quoted at…read moreAudi $3500 just to have my brakes and rotors replaced .. Audi claimed I needed them in the front and the back. I reached out to five other different places and the lowest quote that I received was $1800. Buddhist garage requested that I bring my vehicle in, in order for them to give me an accurate quote . This was a bit of an inconvenience because I live on the opposite side of town and my work schedule is extremely hectic, but it was worth it. They were able to actually physically look at my vehicle and see what was needed in order to give me a more accurate quote. Turns out my rear brakes are completely fine! It was my sensor that was off, which was $35 to replace. And they only charged me 780.$ for all the work. As a female it is extremely difficult to go into shops and not get screwed over and take advantage of. My sister has been taking her vehicle here for years. I took one of my vehicles here years ago and I will continue to use this garage for all of my automotive repairs. I highly recommend it. They are completely honest, and despite the fact that I was late this morning(I don't recommend that it but it was unavoidable), they understood and still got me out in a timely manner. All of their staff is friendly and the owner and his wife are there working with them.

The waiting room is really nice, they have coffee and tea out while you wait, and they make sure to explain everything. Their pricing has been fair thus far and they always get the job done . Another really great highlight is that I would say this is a very woman friendly shop, you do not feel like they are trying to scam you or talk down to you and that is huge for me . Service gets a round of applause especially because finding places that treat you like a human are becoming more and more rare. I can't say enough positives.

Two recent service appointments stand out for me: The first was when an employee tracked mud all over my floor mats during a routine oil change. I keep my car clean and this was just rude. Very hard to clean out. We brought it to their attention and they offered us a free oil change. The second issue was when an inspection revealed an issue with my gas cap. There was no attempt to offer to order this for us or go above and beyond, just a failed inspection notice. It's just a huge contrast to the way this company earned our loyalty when we first moved to Pflugerville. Perhaps times have changed and it's harder to attract and retain good employees. Unfortunately that will trickle down to not retaining good customers, too.
