After buying an SSD, another OS license, and running into a networking adapter issue .. all within a short time following purchase, the unit started to overheat and would no longer boot. Realized that my best bet would be to get a solid estimate, make a credit card warranty claim and then buy a "real" computer from a more reputable place.. Enter XTECH's. The person who helped me was Andrew, and he was extremely helpful. As he wrote up his estimate, it was obvious that this is a great place to get a computer repaired, or to purchase reconditioned computer. Very competitive labor rates, and they do not gouge the customer for inexpensive supplies like thermal paste. I have worked my whole career in high tech, so I think I have a good sense for who the good guys are, and who to avoid. These ARE the good guys! They will take good care of you.

After reading Dan's reviews, I knew I wanted someone with actual gaming PC building experience rather than a general computer repair service like Geek Squad. Dan was exactly the person I was looking for! I messaged Dan through Yelp, and he was incredibly responsive. He answered all my questions, came to our home to check out my son's computer, and took it with him to troubleshoot the problem. He walked me through our options, including recommendations for repairing the existing PC. He also mentioned that he had just finished building a gaming PC that was available for purchase. After discussing our options, we decided to upgrade to the gaming PC Dan had built, and we couldn't be happier with that decision! He gave us a fair price, was upfront and honest about our options, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Dan is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional. I also really appreciated his punctuality when scheduling the initial visit. Best of all, we had the new PC the very next day!

Despite numerous attempts (and diagnosis time/effort), Outlook just refused to connect up with my email server (Google). I used Yelp, rather than the 800 number (which reportedly is slow in responding). Well a Yelp inquiry wasn't much faster as I didn't get a response for a day and one half. The good news is that Ken got back to me and things went well after that. We set up a remote access day and time. The remote access works really well and he was able to figure out a couple of details that were blocking the connection (cached incorrect credentials, Google Access issue, Registry issue and 7 unneeded and worthless .OST files). He even suggested a better virus protection software product along with improved Ad Blocker software. I am very pleased with the knowledge and support of Ken. They charge for a minimum of one hour and he had me working in 40 minutes. He told me that if I have another issue, I can use the remaining 20 minutes of help.

The colors were noticeably distorted, and visible lines were constantly present on the display. After just two months, the screen began flickering. Based on my experience, the store appears to use inexpensive, low-quality replacement parts that do not hold up. I would not recommend this business to anyone looking to have their phone repaired.
