First of all the address for the carrier annex is not on Palmdale Blvd... I have submitted an edit so we will see if yelp make the correction. All in all it is a great place with wonderful carriers, clerks , even some of the supers are WOW good but the postmaster can't run the show without lying to get what will make him look better. In doing so, he has hurt some of his staff without a care or concern. This place is not only unprofessional and uncompassionate but they are racist extremely rude. I was clearly there on time it's not my fault that the clerk which was a older Caucasian man call is taking a long period of time for a customer and because of that my time with past my appointment but I was there. I needed my passport for military services and he completely did not care. He let in another individual that was a male and Caucasian that went pasted his time in before me. This place is complete garbage. They keep telling my seller for an item I bought that my address is wrong yet I've been getting mail for the last few months. I can't even get a phone number for these people so I can see why they wont give me my mail. I will be contacting customer affairs and making a complaint. I moved and I'm really hating my new mailman!! He is not friendly at all and almost every time he delivers my mail it always goes to the wrong mailbox. My good honest neighbors are always dropping off my mail, I'm not sure about my not so honest neighbors they are probably throwing it in the trash. I worked hard just to buy things that we paid for the shipping anyways, I went to your location and the lady said she cannot find my items and will call me.... only to find out in the evening that your office is saying I got the item the same time I was claiming it? There is almost always a very long line here, and though there will be 3-4 people behind the counter there is often only 1 person to help you with your mail. Fortunately, there are 3 self-service machines that you can use to buy stamps (not the collectors kind), weigh packages, add tracking, signature confirmation, etc. To use them you must have a credit or debit card- the self service machines do not accept cash. If its something going outside the U.S you have to go to the counter. Military bases are considered US territory, even if they're overseas. Overall its a great post office if you want to do it yourself. And there is a huge parking lot :) read more

Came in to mail a package and was helped by Alicida asked if she could tape the flap on my package just to make sure it stayed closed (package was a box purchased at this location at this same transaction I was rudely told if I needed tape I could buy a roll from them for $5 , I left and mailed package from my location near my home where I didn't even have to say anything the lady behind the counter taped my package with out me asking no charge! This place shows the world why the USPS is going under. I arrived at opening time and waited 45 minutes before leaving without my package. I only saw 3 people that were actually helped and the employee was unable to locate the package for all of them. This is like the DMV times 10 on the painful scale. They also don't accept credit cards in 2014. read more

Went in the other day to drop off a package and I will never go to this post office again. No customer service and the two female clerks were rude to every customer. I had already had my package pre-packaged and taped up. I get to the counter and all the clerk does is check the box and says, "here is tape you need to retape the box because it's coming off." She just pushed my package over and called the next customer. I now see why everyone hates the post office and it's employees. They are rude and have no customer service skills.
