Simple, standard brick post office in Bumpass VA, which is another tranquil, country town in Louisa County, near Lake Anna. Population about 9,000. Bumpass is French for bon pass which means good passage or good step, and this town was named after its 1st postmaster, John Bumpass.
It was pretty drab inside with beige everywhere but there were some cool brass mailboxes so it got a bit of redemption from its boring interior. It was dim and a bit depressing and could benefit from a spiff, but it was tidy. Plenty of parking and handicap accessible.
