I found parking limited , but easy to park ! Letter pickup is about 4:30 . The true downside is you might spend your time chit chatting and catching up with you favorite postal worker! The Safe Ship sales rep had us do an inventory a month or two before the planned pickup. The quote was more than we expected as it was difficult for us to accurately determine our cubic foot needs. To help reduce cost we gave away a lot of pricey stuff to the VFW and other charitable organizations. We didn't have time to sell things. We were still living in our home and had items in closets and cabinets that required an increase of box count. Before the move, the rep reviewed the new inventory and it increased our cost to them as well to the movers that they hire. The cost should have gone down, not up. On move day, they showed up in a UHaul truck and couldn't get everything in it, requiring us to figure out how to get the rest of our stuff to our destination by ourselves. To be fair, after several phone conversations, they admitted the cubic foot error on their part (truck not big enough) and refunded a portion of the cost. Do yourself a favor and call a moving company who will come to your place and do their own cubic foot calculations and please stay away from brokers. They are just another layer that can cause avoidable problems. Brokers hire the actual movers so if there is a problem, you have to figure out if it was in the broker's wheelhouse or within the moving company. I wouldn't use them again, nor would I use any moving broker.

The Garden Club was established in 1958 and is active in the Charlottesville area. That's indeed flower power! Keswick is cute little "town" that is home to a lovely winery and vineyard nestled in the mountains a few miles east of Charlottesville. It's mainly a residential and farmland area with no town square or downtown district, although there are some large estates and clubs in Keswick. The post office is really the center of town, and is at the curve of the main road where a historical marker is situated. It has a small population of about 320 people but the post office delivers to several other small towns not big enough to have their own post office. This post office is eye-catching with its beige exterior highlighted with black trim, black shutters, and even a hint of black Spanish tiles. I don't drop them in the pre-labeled box anymore though because a couple times they haven't been scanned so I do wait in line at the counter. Since they're one of the few post offices in the area open on Saturday, it can get pretty busy, especially since they only seem to ever have one person there on Saturday. They're a little better staffed during the week though so I try to stop by Monday to Friday.

The town is named for Nathan Gordon, owner of a tavern established in 1794. And he was also the first postmaster of the community officially named Gordonsville in 1813. The town grew due to the railway expansion and is loaded with historic sites! Along with the post office, Main Street is lined with shops, restaurants, and businesses which adds to the charm of this "must visit" town! Boxes available inside. The downside is the parking as you need to park on the street or in the nearby parking deck. The lobby is understandably only open during business hours due to the many people wandering around the mall area to keep it safe and avoid folks "squatting" inside.
