This is the FIRST time that I have given an excellent, or even good review to a post office…read more Apparently the postmaster has some good leadership skills. I went in here to drop off a package the week before Christmas. My experience has been with larger post offices, usually in Houston; there, the lines have been long, not enough windows open, and the employees SOUR! Here in Kyle, there were three windows built out, and each one was staffed. Not only that, but the employees smiled and genuinely tried to help me. At one time an employee came out of the back and asked if anyone had a package to pick up. I regretted going to the post office, but afterwards I appreciated my experience. Luck of the draw, Jasmine was the front clerk who assisted me. I don't see how she could be so pleasant with the high volume of Christmas customers, but she was. What a great USPS representative! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Just had a package that needed signature and ID get delivered to the public neighborhood mailboxes andnnow I have to wait snother day for my package already delayed a day! Is it worth breaking conduct to make your job that little bit easier? No one answers the phone at the local office the driver works for and the usps line has a bad A.I that refuses any and all requests to speak to a representative and says you can get a link sent to your phone and still speak to a representative only for it to say thank you, goodbye and hang up the moment you verify you got the link which is to an A.I that also blows you off and has no way to contact a representative. tf is this system they have?!

United States Postal Service - Pay $23.00 for this kind of handling. Luckily I used alot of packing materials to protect what was inside.

Michon is the sweetest! We just moved to the Austin area and I went in to get my mail key for my…read moreneighborhood. She made me feel so welcomed to the community and we hit it off chatting. Not only that, she memorized my face (even more impressive in a mask!) because I came in to mail a package a couple days later and she remembered me and again today. That's a level of attention to detail that few folks bother with in a professional setting, so I really applaud her and appreciate it. All that said, you are likely to encounter a line at this post office, especially if you're coming close to closing on a weekday. To be expected; it's a little post office with just two windows and it's a growing town! Michon is keeping that small town charm alive by getting to know me (and I can only assume, all new residents). There are plenty of PO Boxes inside, lots of parking spots outside, and a drive-thru if you just need to drop off standard letter-sized mail.

I'm honestly really heartbroken by what happened here. They were for a little girl's birthday, and it was the one thing she had been excited about. The employee working, Robert, locked the door and refused to take them, even though I was already there before closing and it would have taken just a moment. When I asked if a manager was available, he said there wasn't one. I understand everyone wants to go home at the end of the day, but sometimes a tiny act of kindness can mean a lot to someone else. Those packages were important, and now a little girl's birthday surprise won't make it in time. It just felt really disappointing and unnecessarily cold.
