For months I was in a hunt to find a mailbox place. I called around 7 different locations until I found this place. I immediately new this was a great place. The owner is so friendly and makes everyone feel very welcome everytime someone walks in. I never had any problems with my mail and they are great with notifying you when you're package has arrived. They also have different services like printing, checking emails, u-haul rentals, 24 hour access and much more. Let me also mention that the prices are great and it's a clean place. Don't use this place. They LOST my Fed Ex package. Charged me $18, to send overnight. The package never left the place. When I went in to discuss a refund the owner was rude and said my package was shipped, even though the tracking shows it was never picked up. Also over priced and poor customer service. read more

Really hard to get pricing from. Upcharging set price services from USPS that they are already making money from the rate USPS and other providers give them. Beyond being in a good location, the service is terrible, and the manager is never around nor are they interested in helping with issues. Med the manager is a waste of time and only wants to tell you that you can take your business elsewhere if you dont like their service. This establishment has very caring customer service staff. While I was traveling out of the country, the postal mailbox facility that I ad been using for 2 years notified me that they were raising their prices by 30% bringing the cost for a small mailbox to over $40 per month. So I searched Yelp for another postal mailbox establishment and noticed the great reviews that Beverly Hills United Mail Boxes received. I was able to complete the necessary forms online and by email. With the help of Jasmine, everything went smoothly, quickly and my new mailbox was opened and operational within an hour. Although for me service is more important than price, it turned out that I saved almost half of what the business I left was trying to charge me. I highly recommend Beverly Hills United Mail Boxes. I have started using this place recently, and it seemed like the perfect replacement for going to the post office or UPS store. Close to my house and easy parking. The guys in there were always nice, but appeared lazy and not eager to help. I really didn't care, as long as my packages were taken care of, right? well, I had a VERY URGENT package that needed to go out FEDEX, and I trusted them to send it out on time. Turns out they ONLY gave it to the FEDEX driver 4 days later, which means my ESCROW closed 4 days late, which made me incur tons of fees. I will never come back here again! When I called them to address this, they promised me it was FEDEX fault for leaving it on the truck, but once speaking to FEDEX, it was proven to me that it was ONLY picked up and scanned 4 days later. I wish they would have told me that FEDEX shows up every 4 days, but I paid for overnight shipping and was promised delivery on time, as my receipt represents. I have used their printing services, got basic office materials, used the mail services ( normal mail, usps, FedEx ) and have rented their Uhaul and one of the best part is their mailbox services. You'll experience a complete five star treatment and the absolute quietness and privacy just like you are in your home. It is also worth mentioning again that you're completely comfortable when in there as you know you'll be adequately attended to even if it's some few minutes before the official close of business hours. Bad attitudes from all the staff who seem determined to nickel and dime you. From the start, just an air of them really doing you a huge favor...by performing the service you pay for. We had to rent a U-Haul 9' cargo van, and they told us that if we didn't bring it back as super-clean as it was when we started (they just had gotten it washed) that we would be charged a fee. And if the gas wasn't where it was, we would be charged a fee. They wouldn't even let us leave the car in their lot during the rental time, telling us we would have to park two blocks away. The van worked great and we did our quick move, then brought it back. THEN we were assured that they told us at the beginning of the process that if we didn't fold the furniture pads, we would be charged a fee. Worst experience I've ever had at a U-Haul location in LA. Definitely won't be going back for the poor attitude or the extraneous charges. read more

I found out about UNITED Mailboxes through Yelp, their rating gave me great comfort and I wasn't disappointed when I needed their help in getting paperwork notarized in a hurry. Med Gorgy is the best !! I called him up on very short notice for assistance. He told me to come over and he would take care of it. He had setup the working station with all the preparations in order to ensure maximum efficiency. He went way beyond what we expected by not only helping us with notarizing the docs but also making copies for us of the signed docs as well as mailing originals. No wonder all his customers are repeat customers, his can do attitude and service with a smile gives great comfort to everyone he deals with. I've meant to leave a review of United for ages. Their customer service is so astonishingly good that I've kept my mailbox there even though I moved quite far away over two years ago. The owner cares for the customers as though it really is their home office and goes above and beyond to make things convenient. If I've not been able to get over there, they've sent my mail to my home address when needed. They've always been willing to check and see if something I'm waiting for has arrived so I don't need to make an unnecessary trip to check. Have used their graphic design and printing services with great results as well. The three stars is in reference to Western Union service there at Beverly Hills United MailBoxes as I was a receiver of cash. I did not realize that the various Western Union contracted stations have policy rules which can differ from each Western Union contracted station - which I understand. At this location, I had large amount of cash being sent to me. Understandably, due to the Beverly Hills United MailBoxes policy, they do not release the large amount of cash unless the Beverly Hills United MailBoxes takes in the large amount of cash in order to get the cash to you. After trying several days the Beverly Hills United MailBoxes could not give me the cash because they did not receive the cash from other Western Union transactions. I understand its a slow period during the holidays and for other reasons, there was not enough cash to give me. But time was running out for me to get the cash. I then contacted the corporate offices of Western Union who informed that I could pick up from Pavilions Market which was just down the street. After contacting Pavilions Markets, they had the cash of their maximum of $500 as long as you go there when it during the day (not after 5 pm) and the cashier's have the money in their drawer. The Pavilions Markets policy is also based on whether they receive the cash from other purchasers but the remaining balance they will give you a check. So what I learned is, I can and do send money via Western Union at Beverly Hills United Mailboxes but will receive the cash at Continental Currency. They always have the cash and they are always open 24 hours a day!!! So the best places to get the cash from Western Union is a bank - or in my case a Currency Exchange which is a maximum of $2,000 and their Hollywood location is open 24 hrs but area I don't like so the Culver City location has usual business hours but the location I feel is safer !! The staff at Beverly Hills United Mailboxes have been kind to me otherwise, so there has been no complaints doing business there for money orders or sending Western Union. I don't rent Post Office Box there so I do not know the service. Just this issue which I wanted to let others know of the differences in store policies when receiving cash from Western Union. I know go to Pavillions for the Western Union since I can shop for groceries at the same time and they are open until 8 pm so the hours are also better for me. read more

These people don't care about the status of your packages. They charge OUTRAGEOUS prices and then when you call for an update on a package that you spent $25 shipping, they couldn't be less helpful. UPDATE: I had been a customer for 3 years now and only stayed as long as I did because I didn't want to go through hassle of changing my address. However, the customer service is terrible. My mail is "lost by the post office". I only have the issues when I send my mail there. Mail is always mixed up because they don't check box #'s. So I always receive other people's mail in my boxes. The staff will typically tell me that my packages haven't been delivered unless I show them the delivery confirmation. And only then will they look for my packages. read more

The uhaul service if fantastic here . Few times when renting a uhaul van does everything go seamlessly and smooth . The staff was ready for me when I arrived . They were efficient , curteous, friendly , and very professional. The 9 ' van was clean ready to go and easy to drive . The staff was really on their game and even noticed that I forgot my handicap card in the window . I was very appreciative that they saw it and alerted me to it before I left . I saw them help a late comer customer wanting to mail a couple packages. Even though they were officially closed , they helped this customer, and told them they didn't want to turn them away , and I saw them take the customer into the office . What outstanding service .
