I moved to the area last year and had been searching for a new place to get my brows threaded. Upon reading the reviews for this place, I decided to take a chance and book an appointment online. The owner works efficiently and quickly and I like the fact that she isn't heavy handed. Many times when I'd gotten threaded in the past by other people, the pain was just unbearable and I'd have to take a break. I'm happy to say that I haven't experienced that here. Are you sensitive to pain? If so, you should prepare - especially if you're traditionally a waxer. I've been threading for several years jumping from place to place never finding the right location, until now. Puspa takes excellent care of her clients and if she isn't available, her co-worker does as well. Threading takes patience, and unbelievable talent - which they both have. I cannot stress enough the difference between waxing and threading. Threading you end up taking several hairs out at a time (which, can be "painful"). Whereas, waxing it can be all at once. Threading is more of a natural way without usage of anything but the thread on your face. If you want that clean and photoshopped look, get waxed. But don't expect to get waxed here as they pride themselves on threading. Here, you'll get that natural brow look - which, I personally think is best. read more

Such a great hidden find! Thanks to Yelp, I was able to find this place which is located deep in a strip mall behind across from the Little Caesars. I've been twice now and it's always super quick and (relatively) painless! So far, there's not been a line, so I have never needed to make an appointment. So ii tried looking for a place that does threading around the area but was very hesitant as ii am picky with my eyebrows. I finally found a place that had some great reviews w/resonable pricing. I went to Unique and the girl that was in there was super friendly, talkative (no kind of silence awkwardness Lol) and was super fast. Mind you ii haven't done my eyebrows since ii left Cali so they we're a HOT MESS! SHE cleaned them up real quick tho and asked now and then if it hurt and to let her know if there was any kind of pain. I walked in this morning and only had to wait 5 minutes for her to finish up with someone else. The place was cozy and very clean. She was very nice and quick. It was my first time and she made sure to check in and see how I was doing and to see if the pain was too much. It's very relatable to plucking your eyebrows but faster. Quality was very good. Puspa does a phenomenal job on my eyebrows and also on whoever I send her way or bring with me to experience eyebrow threading. She's gentle and does her best to keep her clients comfortable, especially if it's a first time experience. I've been a client of hers for over a year and I wouldn't go to anyone else unless I truly have to like when she was on maternity leave, but nobody does it better than Puspa! She is also very flexible and willing to stay a late in order for her clients to get a service done. This was my first ever threading experience. Wow!! This hurt so much more than I had anticipated... With that being said, I was happy with the results. There were a few missed hairs, but I don't know if that's normal or not and it was easy enough to tweeze them when I got home. I did notice some flaking a few days later, almost as if my skin has been torn, so that was a little annoying. I purchased the membership, so I will be returning regardless.
