I'm fairly new to this salon and the first few times the experience was great. However the last time not so much. I should've known my experience wouldn't have been as pleasant based on how the technician greeted me or lack there of. Unfortunately, I didn't catch her name. She took off too much hair on one brow to where now they aren't as full as they once were or symmetrical. I visited this location In Vinings. The premises is very clean when I went, Sunday afternoon there wasn't a lot of customers so it was cool. My technician was called Simi. I have been getting Brazilian done for about 4yrs and I'm yet to say that I'm comfortable with it. But Simi but it so comfortable and it didn't hurt as much. If you visit this location please ask for Simi you will not be disappointed. I usually flitch every that tape is pulled but today I didn't not even once! I went on a Saturday at 7 pm. My regular spot was closed and I needed a Brazilian wax. The wait time for fast. The shop smell good as well. The tech i was assigned was Rose. She made it comfortable for me and made sure i breathe through the waxing. This was my first sugar waxing so she was really knowledgeable about it. It lasted no more than 30 minutes. She was very professional. The wax only cost $30. The results looks great. I would highly recommend this waxing shop. read more

The service is great but one time I was tricked into getting a vajacial. I SPECIFICALLY asked if the used steam and squeezed blackheads and or ingrown hairs with the vajacial service and both ladies (the receptionist &ESTITICHIAN ) told me yes. After my wax I asked was she taking me to a different room or is she bringing my he steam here she said yes just relax. About 5-7 minutes into the "vajacial" no steam has come. All she did was put a few mask on my vagina and massaged it. After a few more minutes asked where's the steam and her response. " Oh we can't do steam due to covid" . At that point I'm PISSED! All she did was massage my irritated vagina ! I don't understand why they couldn't have told me the truth. I have gone to this business twice. My first visit was for my brow threading and tinting which did not turn out to be a good experience. I think it was more related to the tech who did it. She was not as experienced did not listen well to my concerns. My second visit was for sugaring wax. I was reluctant based on my first experience but I kept reading the reviews where the sugaring wax was so phenomenal. The tech that I wanted no longer worked there so I tried a tech by the name of Tia. Tia was very good and made the experience quick, and as painless as it could be. She was thorough and only tried to up sale me on the exfoliation product, which I think was a good choice. I will be definitely going back to be serviced by Tia again. read more

I stopped by with no appointment, and at first it seemed like they wouldn't be able to take me because they had to consult each other for a minute, but the second I offered to just make an appt for another time they got me checked in. If I could rate each service I had done here individually, the eyebrow threading would definitely have a full five star rating. I normally wax, so I'm used to having that band aid effect where the pain is quick. During the threading, I am not used to feeling the many little hairs get pulled out so I can't say I enjoy the actual threading. But the result was AMAZING. I normally don't give much instruction because I like to find the people who know what natural eyebrow shape fits your face. This place hit the bullseye! I also got my underarms waxed as well as a Brazilian! So I was under the impression they used hard wax OR sugar gel. But for the Brazilian, they exclusively use sugar gel and the muslin removal strips. I was already at the point of no return laying there panicking that I was in for a terrible terrible experience. Of course, it was painful, but I was surprised that there was very minimal redness and inflammation compared to what I normally experience with hard wax. I also walked away pretty clean, but was surprised how against the waxer was about plucking anything left over (risking higher possibilities of ingrowns). I also felt panic when the waxer requested I lift both legs (similar to how you would lift a baby's legs to change a diaper), so that she could get to the back-end. I immediately thought of the review I read earlier describing the random positions that was asked of that particular person and felt dread. Definitely the most awkward and unique position I've ever been asked to do for waxing, and I've been doing this for almost two years now. For underarms, they use a clear/blue-ish wax and the muslin removal strips, and the result was very clean! The only issue I really had was the pain not caused by the actual waxing, but from the waxer pressing extremely hard on my underarm. All I could think about was whether she knew about the pressure point there and how much more my arm pit could endure. For both waxed areas, I also felt like she was trying to use gel/wax on the stick that had already hardened too much, and some times it would be uncomfortable as she dragged the stick along my areas trying to keep using what she had there. Overall, I walked away hair-free with only a few issues, but I am planning on going back for a second try for the same three areas in a few weeks to see if I can change this rating to a definitive 3 or possibly 4/5. read more

This was an overall great experience. I walked in scared, but with a pleasant experience I walked out knowing I would definitely be a return customer. Sana gave me a Brazilian wax and was very kind and accommodating to my low threshold for pain. She made me feel very comfortable. The best part is that the wax lasted less than 15 minutes! The sugaring wasn't necessarily less painful than the hard wax in my opinion, but that will be the same anywhere you go. It was unbelievable how quick and easy Sana made my experience. Then I got a quick threading job done for only $4 in what seemed like less that a minute! The estheticians are extremely friendly and accommodating. I am in a wheelchair and they always make sure that I am comfortable and accommodate if something needs to be moved or changed for me. Had a great experience today. Tina was very professional and did a great job on my wax. Of course it's never comfortable but it was better than most places I've been. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because I've been to a place that uses a topical anesthetic and warm towels to help with pain control, but you can't beat this for the price! Then the lady said you have to have a 24hr appointment for Groupon. I said this is bad business, you should not have taken my appointment for today. Shaaaaaady... I'm cancelling my Groupon today!! I used to go to the mall for eyebrow threading. I really didn't want to deal with the mall and decided to try this place. They did a great job and were very nice. Cheaper than the threading place at the mall, unless you have the Shapes Brow Bar monthly membership...plus, you don't have to deal with the mall just to get your brows done. Just a little background... So I moved to the Vinings area in January 2015 and found this place. I needed to find a new wax dungeon in the area - I say dungeon because there is nothing glamorous about the process... And they offer eyebrow threading as well? Come to one place for both services? Sold. Anyway, with that being said, I have been visiting pretty regularly (monthly) since the sweet discovery. There was now only one problem. I needed an aesthetician that could deliver! Wax and eyebrows. Sheena has done that! The best service I've had to date! The best thing she could've done is consult me on my eyebrows - usually they will just go to town on my brows without asking how I like them. Because of that, I leave with 'good enough' and not really happy but I wouldn't complain because that's not what I do. I have been trying to get the perfect brow shape for months and each month I would have to start the re-growth process in hopes that the next time they would get it perfectly right. This time... I heard great reviews from them and was looking for somewhere new to get my eyebrows done at since I work in the area. After days of looking at their Yelp reviews I decided to give them a try. I got there about 10 minutes of opening and the place was nice and had a nice atmosphere. I was hoping that I was going to get someone that was mentioned a lot in the review but instead I got Bianca or Briana, I want to say her name was Bianca. I didn't really like my eyebrows and after looking at them for a while I realized that I hated them. I feel like she rushed through the job and my eyebrows looked nothing alike. I know your not going to get them exactly alike for the most part but she didn't try. I would go back to try someone else but I won't be going back to her. read more
