I went to get my eyebrows threaded at unique for the first time yesterday. (5/7/2019) Long story short my eyebrows did NOT look good at all. You could barely tell that I got my eye brows threaded at all. I was very specific with how I wanted them done. The eyebrow lady began to tell me about how my eyebrows were very thin and uneven( which isn't true I haven't had an issue with that before). I tried this place instead of going to Emory pointe to my regular girl. Not worth it. I do threading and my brows were messy looking and not trimmed right and my lip wasn't done very well with wax. Sana did my Brazilian and when she found out I was from out of town let me know there was a salon in my hometown which was great. They use sugar wax which is a notable difference with less pain and is less messy. She the then threaded my brows which was my first experience with threading. It was a great experience! My brows always get so swollen when I wax and I could barely notice anything had been done and there was no pain! I normally go to the Midtown location but since moving to Vinings I thought I would give this location a try bad idea. The first time I came to do my eyebrows they were very pushy about buying products. She did a good job with my brows but being bombarded to buy things a big turn off. Today I decided to give them another chance because I shop at the Kroger in the plaza bad idea again. I sign myself in and was told it was a 20 minute wait ok no problem. Great eyebrow threading service at a great price! The staff is very professional, and the salon is very clean, modern, and tech savvy. Sometimes when I go to threading places, the staff will make somewhat disparaging comments about the thickness - or lack thereof - of my eyebrows, but I happen to like them on the thinner side. I liked that no judgmental comments were made, and even if they were thinking of commenting, they kept it to themselves lol. Good customer service goes a long way in my book, and I appreciate that the staff was friendly and respectful.
