I've been here once before and it was great. The people working are always nice, but yesterday when I went and got my eyebrows threaded it hurt a lot more than usual (I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for about 6 years now). I thought it was weird, but it always hurts so it's fine, she told me my hair was really coarse and so that it's hard. Today my right eyebrow is in so much pain, but my left eyebrow is completely fine. I've never had this happen before and disappointed that this is a service I paid for. read more

I've been looking for an eyebrow specialist for a while now and I thought I found her. I read through previous reviews to see who was highly recommended and I came across Nelsi. I'm always anxious trying a new person, but I always specify exactly what I'm looking for and usually the esthetician is able to execute my vision. Nelsi did a wonderful job listening to my concerns regarding the shape of my brows and cleaning them up without making them too thin. I was impressed with the outcome and decided I would try her again the next time I needed my brows threaded. When I returned the second time, I reiterated the same desire to clean them up, not remove too much hair on the tail line and keep them naturally arched. I'm not sure where the miscommunication was, but my eyebrows were thinner than usual on the tails with a small gap in one of them and has straggling hairs that could've been removed to create a clean line. I'm back to growing out my eyebrows for a few months and filling them in with makeup in the meantime. Still in search for an eyebrow lady, so if you have any recommendations please send them my way. read more

Had a terrible experience with eyebrow threading. She did not listen to what I asked. My brows were uneven, too thin and she threaded so hard that she left indentations in my skin and my skin felt raw. I will never go back and would not recommend. read more

So, This was a last minute decision because it was almost their closing time but I had to work the next day so go figure. But my eyebrows came out pretty good. One thing that always irritates me about these threading places is that they act like they reign supreme over other eyebrow trimming styles. like there is always the question: Do you wax your eyebrows? And when I say I have their like ohhh That's why their too thick. Then when she was done she was like I can't really do the other side so your going to have to get a 25 dollar tint. like what? My eyebrows are already super dark. So anyway, just don't ask that. Just do the brow. Anyway, my brows are nice post threading. But not like snatched like I like them. Had an absolutely fantastic experience here!! I yelped for brow threading and found this spot had great reviews. And saw why right away! Zara was my brow specialist and she was absolutely amazing. She greeted me immediately when I walked in, taught me how to check in easy. The wait on screen said 6 minutes but, she promptly took me back to her chair and we had our consultation. First things first so let's back up... this place is SO cute! It is in a very convenient area and when you first walk inside, you know you have come to the right place for you beauty/waxing/threading needs. Great decor, cozy atmosphere and VERY clean. When Zara sat me down I noticed how comfortable the chair was and felt at ease. I explained my concerns with being so blonde and worried the light brown tint would be too much (It is the lightest they have). She assured me it would be great and I trusted her to take the reins. I am so glad I did! My eyebrows have literally never looked this good. Yay! First she threaded them, then advised me to have her take the weight out of my right brow to even them up. This only took about two minutes each brown. Then she had me take a look in her mirror to check out her work. Solid! She cleaned them off and then proceeded to tint them - about another two minutes per brow. Then she was done and I was looking and feeling fabulous!! The brow threading and tint together cost $25, plus I gave her a well deserved $10 tip. Overall it was a perfect experience. For anyone who is worried to try this place, or threading/tint in general, worry no more! Hardly painful it didn't really hurt at all actually. Incredible customer service, Zara was very pleasant and a very sweet lady who knows exactly what she is doing! I will always come to her to keep my brows on point from now on. I went here a few weeks ago to get facial threading for the first time. It was excruciatingly painful, but that was no fault of the business or the person who did it, I think I just have sensitive skin. The technician who threaded me was really friendly and sweet and tried to minimize my pain. I took off a star because I developed a huge itchy rash all over my face afterward and think it may have been related to a product they applied after they were done. They made sure to ask me if I'm allergic to aloe and I'm not, but before that they had applied something else (maybe witch hazel?) and that might be what I reacted to. They never said what it was so I'm not sure. All I know is that I had ugly itchy bumps all over my face for about a week, and washing my face with cool water and applying aloe several times a day didn't help clear it up faster. Even after waxing my skin has never reacted like this so I was disappointed because threading is supposedly easier on the skin and more hygienic. I took off another star because my eyebrow shaping wasn't even, with one being higher than the other and one having a higher arch than the other. Other than that they looked great, but I was hoping they would come out more evenly. If you don't have super sensitive skin and enjoy facial threading I'd definitely recommend them! But if you have sensitive skin that reacts poorly to waxing, I'm hesitant to recommend threading at all, here or anywhere else. read more

I usually visit the location in Midtown on Ponce but was looking overdue for an eyebrow cleanup and was in the area. I love that they accept walk ins, so an appointment is not required. The eyebrow threading was $8 and they have a punch card that you get a free threading on your 10th visit. The business is very clean, beautifully decorated and they have an electronic sign in so there's no confusion about which client is next in line. They accept cash if your total is over $10, not including tip; if you're just having your eyebrows cleaned don't forget the cash. On this visit Anna assisted me and she was super sweet and really took her time in making sure my arch was even. She had me view her progress on one eyebrow before she continued and made sure the shape was okay. I really appreciated her checking in with me, since one of my eyebrows is fuller than the other. I was very impressed by the service and will most likely be back for eyebrow tinting. read more

This was the first threading place I discovered near my apartment when I first moved here. Growing up, I only went to my Indian neighbors' in-house salons to thread my eyebrows. I was initially scared to try out a salon, but let out a huge sigh of relief when I walked in here and noticed all South Asian women running this place! Since my first visit, I've been back a few times for both facial threading and body waxing. The result quality really depends on the technician you have, but I've been satisfied with my results the majority of the time. There has been a time or two where I felt like they threaded off too much of my eyebrow but that's easy (but annoying) to fix with a brow pencil. Tina has been my favorite technician so far, and she always does a great job with threading my brows! The wait time can vary a lot, but they have let me make reservations in the past which is recommended if you're looking to go during their busy hours. The price for eyebrows is $8, which is more expensive than what I'm used to paying, but it seems like a pretty fair price for a salon in Buckhead. Also, bring cash if you can since the minimum for card is $10! read more

I've been going to the same eyebrow person for over six years, but when she recently closed her books for a couple weeks I was forced to find someone else who could help me achieve the very particular look I go for. Nilsa threaded and tinted my brows (I usually get wax), and although they weren't as "clean" as my normal eyebrow person, they were very close. I loved the professionalism, speed and pricing! Half the price of what I normally pay so I am torn now on what to do moving forward. Anyways I highly reccomend! read more

Yesterday was my first time at Unique Threading and I was pleasantly surprised. I only had to wait about three minutes before Joy sat me in her chair. I've always been particular about my brows, so I was definitely nervous going to someone new. Joy was everything I could ask for and more. This review is for the sugaring service. I needed a Brazilian for a vacation I was going on. I'd been getting my brows done by Nelsi for a few months and naturally I let her do my Brazilian. She suggested I do sugar instead of wax. I trust Nelsi so I took her advice. She offered me wine before the service which was very helpful! I hadn't been waxed in years and I remember that it hurt like hell. Needless to say, I braced myself for a near death experience. Nelsi applied the sugar paste and used a strip to take off the first patch of hair. It wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered. I thought it was just a fluke, but as she continued I commented that it didn't hurt as bad as I remembered. That's when she started telling me all the benefits of sugaring vs waxing. One of them being that it's 50% less painful! I can vouch for this! I have definitely added sugaring to the list of services I get from this place, and as always, I highly recommend Nelsi. She is such an amazing lady :-) read more

Only place I go to in the city. Full Brazilian for $30, under arm wax for $8, eye brow threading for $10 (I think). Their prices are so reasonable and I am always satisfied each visit. I go once a month. The staff is friendly. They have a good reward system and multiple wax options. I have super thick eyebrows, and one grows in a little strange but they always work their magic. I do recommend going on an off day versus a Friday or Saturday. They get packed on the weekends, but that's what happens when a business provides a good service. Easily a 5/5. read more

I'm new to Atlanta and I have been nervous about finding a new eyebrow lady. Ladies y'all know how important this is! You mess up my eyebrows and now I gotta walk around looking crazy until they grow back - NUH UH! I had a wedding to go and I needed to find somewhere to do them ASAP. I found this place with a google search and the reviews were decent so I figured I would take the chance here. The salon is small, clean, and cute! There were also two men getting their eyebrows done ahead of me so fellas, they can hook y'all up too. I only got my eyebrows threaded so I can't comment on any other services but the tech took her time and did a great job! I would definitely recommend and I think I have found my new brow lady! Came out of this place 15min back.Never thought I would do a Brazilian wax,bt I guess I wanted to go try! I think they handled me the best way they could, with all my yelling and screaming ;-) it wasn't that bad,as i thought it would be . I called in and booked asking for Naz( cos I read reviews) ,but when I went in I was told that Melesa (I hope I got the name right between the yelling) is attending to me.To be frank i was disappointed and thought of cancelling the session. But then I thought I either ways don't know Naz or this person. How would it matter right? So I went ahead. I took the whole body waxing, so she kept the Brazilian for last !! It all went fine till we started Brazillian . I think I wasn't prepared for it !! I had an appointment this morning with Maya for a full leg wax. I was nervous about getting it done because of my last experience at another salon that took about an hour and a half to complete and it hurt. :-) But. . .today, let me tell you, my session today was EXTREMELY fast (all completed in about 35 mins). Maya is the VERY BEST. I highly recommend her for all of your services. I see her at least once a week for threading. Each time, she is so patient, so thorough, so professional, so kind, so fast. Maya always ensures that I am comfortable, which is important for a weekly service. When I forget Maya's schedule and show up to find out that she is off, I honestly become disappointed and sad. Naz is simply amazing! I came in with eyebrows that were grown out and needed lots of love and attention. After countless searches on google and Yelp, I came across this location and saw their AMAZING reviews. My eyebrows were shapeless and horrible but after simply looking at them and talking to me, Naz figured out the best shape for them and gotright to work! The shape turned out great (regardless of my struggling left brow)!! The pricing wasn't what I expected exactly from previous reviews but after looking at the work Naz did I don't even mind. Everybody that gets waxed DREADS waxing, but it's a necessary evil that both NAZ and MAYA are AMAZING at. I came here and only here all the time for brow threading (I recommend NAZ, MAYA, or JAY) and one day decided to go for the Brazilian sugar and full legs and it was amazing. They're fast, careful, and calming (and they make their own natural scrubs for exfoliating). I was scared away from waxing in college and it took 5 years for me to try again and Unique Threading and Body Wax is my ONLY place now I've been coming for waxing for about 8 months. The peachtree/buckhead location is the one I frequent, but I've been to the other two and they don't disappoint. read more

I went to SIMI at Unique Threading after going to a salon in midtown that I wont mention because I dont want to promote or take away from Uniques review. Anyway, ended up with uneven eyebrows and SIMI was able to spot it IMMEDIATELY, confirming that I wasn't loosing it. SIMI was able to get my eyebrows nice and even and in the shape I requested. Although she did have to leave some parts and tell me in a nutshell "fight the urge, dont touch this part", they were so neat I could not tell that they werent PERFECT...I'm not gettin paid to say this lol. I brought this amazing waxing deal from groupon. Well, groupon is new for me and I was hesitated in using this deal. I am very picky with getting waxed and I need the best service when it comes to getting waxed. All I have to say Is I love the sugar gel brazilian wax that is done at unique , its so much better and the pain is less than half off what i usually experience . Been coming here for two years ever since I moved from nyc. This is the only place that I go to , to get my wax and my eyebrows. I would highly recommend going to Nelsie. She gives my eyebrows the nicest arch and she's is phenomenal when it comes to body waxes. I get a full leg wax, with bikini line and buttocks and she does all of this in 20 minutes. I have also gotten my henna tattoo from her multiple times. All the girls in here do a great job , but I will highly recommend Neslie for your eyebrow threading and waxing needs ! read more

As a male it was very interesting to have my eyebrows done for the first time and not knowing what to expect but Alisha was very welcoming and very professional. Eyebrow threading sounds pain but this girl TINA made it so easy for me!! She was very informative and guided me through out threading. She was funny and her conversation helped me overcome the treading pain which is actually good. definitely will be back !! They do give the loyalty card to get stamps and when you complete 9 stamps they offer 10th free eyebrow as a reward for being a loyal client!! I moved to Atlanta a little over a month ago and I have been on the hunt for a new eyebrow lady. This was my first time visiting and it was a great experience. Ms. Joy did a wonderful job on my wax and actually explained the materials used which had never been done before with other companies. She was friendly and thorough. She also threaded my brows which are really thin and yet she cleaned them up so I would be able to fill them in. I was here on Saturday to get my threading done and i only go with TINA! She is super friendly and amazing and does exactly i want. She makes sure that i love my eyebrow every time she does. Mini is amazing! She keeps me looking great!! I usually do eyebrow threading and tint. I usually have my upper lip and sides of my face threaded. She gives great advice on how to keep my skin looking smooth and healthy! She also does my Brazilian. She is great! It is worth going. I really like this place because it is clean, not very expensive and I can tell the women have experience. I've been there for my Brazilian waxing 10+. The only thing I'm bothered by is... I think not everyone has learnt the same technique because some are very professional and accurate and some are not but you can still tell you're not their first patience. Only Chhaya was there on Saturday midday and she asked me to come after 12:30 because she'd be tied up in appointments until then. The salon itself is clean and she wore a mask the entire time. You can pay--including tip--on credit card. Threading cost $11. My old salon offered aloe, post-service, which was not offered here. But I live closeby enough that it was no big deal to apply some when I got home. It hurt about the amount that I expected and no bleeding, cuts, etc. It's great that they also have a punch card system. Happy to have found my go-to spot for threading!
