I went back to get it fixed, though they were pleasant about it, a couple days later I have more than half of my nail set popped off due to low quality work. Bright yellow, lumpy, and uneven--my Mother's Day gift from my daughter turned into a nightmare. My SNS nails chipped the next day, so they redid them. During the redo, Vickey used a different product from a tube, claiming it was "stronger and better." In natural light, my nails look thick, lumpy, and terrible--the bright yellow makes it all painfully obvious. Now I have to travel like this. The salon has stained towels, and an unappealing ambiance in Atlantic Station. Staff is nice, but I'd never recommend this place. read more

I went there to remove gel powder at the beginning of January and the lady assigned to me got upset that it was powder and filed my nails so much that they were damaged for 3 months even though I did everything I can to strengthen it. I always had strong nails but she destroyed them so much that they hurt me for weeks. She even left a layer of gel and said it can't come off. At that point I didn't argue because I wanted her to stop damaging my nails and needed to get back to work. I would not recommend this place at all. read more

This has been my go-to nail salon for a few years. For context, I am from New York, and I am not a huge fan of luxury salons. I want a regular salon with regular services and a fun staff. This is a mix of both but leaning toward the regular end but with a decent atmosphere. It's comfortable, they double up on your services to get you out quickly, and they have wine. I haven't had a bad experience here and I don't even stick to one tech; I take whoever is available. I've never even had a wait more than 10 minutes as a walk-in. As a result, I've probably been to every single person that has worked there in the past three years. The male techs seem to do the best sets imo, women on the pedis! Most recently I've enjoyed sets from Sy Vo (@syvo1186) & Vincent (hope I remembered that name correctly!) My only complaint is that it used to be much easier to just book an appointment online. I don't know what happened or what I'm missing but I only go in as a walk-in now. No big deal since the wait isn't crazy at all but I like the accountability of an appointment & I'd prefer it be made online, haha. This one is a half complaint: I spend around and over $150 on every trip for a mani/pedi, and I tip 20% every time. That would be for a gel pedi, a fill, and I get French with designs often. I have found cheaper places of course, but I'd just rather come here so it isn't really a complaint now is it?! That does make me stretch my sets longer than the 2 weeks I'd prefer, but also.. that goes to show that the sets last & look good wellllllll over 2 weeks. 5 even, if you're crazy. read more

I came in this week to remove my acrylic nails that I had on for about a month now. Normally when I go to the salon to get a removal, they soak my nails in heated up acetone and wrap it in foil or have my hand sit in a bowl for 10 min. Then they file it down and buff it. That was not the case here. They had my nails soaking in acetone for literally only 2 minutes and began to file them and pop them off with a nail tip. I've never popped off my nails because I actually want my nail beds to be healthy. The nail tech who popped them off in such a rush that she was digging under the nail tip with her nails and putting so much pressure and kept accidentally stabbing me with her real nail and the nail tip. She even tried pulling the acrylic nail off on my pinky the she ended up tearing my real nail with it( It hurt so bad after leaving the salon that I couldn't even apply water pressure on my nail or it would start to throb). I had such a bad experience and just wish I never came. read more

I just had the worst experience at Lush with nail tech Kaleah also known as Kae. I requested tapered square for my nail shape and after the nail tech finished laying the foundation of my nails and painted one pinky, I looked at my hand and said 'I haven't had square nails in awhile I'm not sure how I feel about this.' And was going to ask her if she could taper my nails a bit more which essentially means to file them and make them a bit more narrow. Before I could even get my request out the nail tech starts throwing a tantrum like a 5 year old, which was very off-putting and concerning to me. Bouncing her shoulders up and down, throwing her head back, and stomping her feet on the ground. I was alarmed because I thought I was in a safe space to express my preferences and wants as a paying customer within reason. I look forward to getting my nails done and having the experience ruined by a disgruntled nail tech was disheartening. The nail tech responds and says 'I'm going to have to charge you!' I said 'okay that's fine!' It was still crazy to me being that she didn't even know what my request was as of yet as I was never able to get it out. The more I sat there and thought about it I said absolutely not and requested that she just remove the nails completely because I would never want to continue being serviced by someone that would act in that manner while providing a service. She then says 'I don't even want to go back and forth with you' which was even more concerning because my tone was never heightened or rude. As a client of hers I was hoping to actually just talk and get beyond the moment. She then tells me it would be the full cost of the service plus the cost of the soak off because 'You not bout to waste my time!' As she remained nasty, combative, and disrespecttul I asked to speak to a manager and the manager was kind enough to give me 15% off on the shops behalf of what would have been a $90 total for the piss poor customer service and no nails. The nail tech denied her actions that caused me to no longer want to be serviced by her and I told the manager to pull the cameras that were right above us, to which the manager responded she did not have access to see the cameras which was also ALARMING. I paid because I understand she may have been having a bad day and it was never about the money but always my respect as I've been supporting her for over a year anyway. I hope she does not treat any more paying, loyal clients in such a distasteful manner and learns from the experience. It was very hurtful for the fact that I thought we had built a rapport being that I came from the nail techs previous location to this new one with her. Really love the level of service here, I've been coming for a few years now. There is wine offered with bookings of $50 and up, upon request. The techs have great attention to detail and I always leave satisfied. My only qualm is that they have a fly problem?? I've had several mediocre experiences at this establishment, but the quality of the service I received yesterday was absolutely horrible. I would not recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. I went in for a quick pedicure. The woman who did my toes insisted on putting a third layer of polish even after I questioned it stating that it would make the color pop more. That was around 5 pm. It was chilly this morning and I decided to wear close toed shoes, this was around 10 am. After I took my shoes off I noticed that the polish crinkled. I called and asked them if they would repaint the damaged toe. The woman on the phone stated that unless I get gel polish once out of the store they won't redo any damaged nails and insisted that this was an isolated incident. My question is, why do you need a policy for something that's isolated? She ended up explaining the policy which essentially states that services that are with regular polish have no quality guarantee, but they're charging $35 for a basic pedicure. Visited ATL for a girls weekend, and decided to treat ourselves on a rainy afternoon to pedicures. Called Lush and we were informed we could walk right in. This nail bar was nice & pretty clean, although a little cluttered. I'd consider it a nail salon, not a boutique or spa. It wasnt super busy so some staff were sitting in pedicure chairs playing on their cell phones. Also they didn't seem to have nearly as many nail colors as the salons in my hometown. That being said my toes came out fantastic! The tech offered for an acrylic fix to my broken nails, and now my toes are much more uniform and healthy looking. The nail tech was very precise and shaped my toes beautifully. The massage chairs were also very comfortable. It's over a week later and my toes still look perfect! read more

My friend and I came here to get our nails done based on all the great reviews. We left highly disappointed! I got a pedicure and sns manicure. The pedicure was ok...but the mani was not. I asked if they knew how to do marble design and they said yes; but they did not. No one in the establishment knew how to do it. Two people tried and they took it off at least four times. Also the sns was bubbly and the top coat just thrown on. My friend got a gel manicure and her nails cracked the next day. I took my mother-in-law here to get a manicure and Yolo pedicure. Shamya was great and treated her well. She felt like royalty the entire time. I also received a "dry manicure" from Manuel. Which essentially is a manicure without having to dip your nails in the warm bowl of water to soften the cuticles or receiving oil at the end of your manicure. This was a first for me and slightly disappointing given the price of manicures rising from $10-$15 to now $22! It honestly felt like a color change service. :( read more
