I have been going to Lily for years and have followed her from different locations because she is excellent! She takes care of my needs and my mother's too. Excellent customer service! She is now here. I do make appointments with her and I go in afternoon (weekdays) when the salons are less busy. They lasts 3 weeks for me and at times 4 weeks when I've needed them to. I went to this nail salon only because it's one that my Mom goes to frequently. She got a gel nail manicure, a pedicure and I got a simple polish change on my toes and a gel nail manicure. First of all, my mom called ahead and told the manager that previously the male tech hurt her foot and she has a blister so remind him to be gentle. We get in there and he's (with a horribly mean look on his face) taking out all of his aggressions and freakin' sawing her foot. When the services were done, which were not great by any means, they charged $170! WHAT?? You mean to tell me, in this shabby salon with raggedy chairs and only 4 techs, not even offered a spoon full of spit, you want to charge my 80 year old mother $170 and she comes in there all the time? No Ma'am. She'll NEVER be back there again! While we were there a young lady came in to have her nails repaired after coming in a couple days prior because they use cheap polish and they wanted to argue her down. This salon needs to be shut down! I'm so glad that I went with my mom to see how these folks have been ripping her off all along for their shabby work. They should have been giving her a senior discount EVERY time she stepped foot in that place. Horrible customer service!! SHAME on you! There are a ton of other nail salons in Atlanta, THIS is not one that you'd want to go to. read more

I have been going to this establishment for months and although a bit pricy, the quality has always been good so I didn't mind paying a little more. However, the past two times I went I had bad experiences that caused me to seek another nail salon. My sister came into town and I brought her there (that's how much I liked the place) but both of us had nails break within the first day, and a few more after. We had to immediately go back and get them fixed when we got back from our trip. But it was so disappointing to be traveling with broken nails! Hopefully they pay more attention to each customer, even when it is busy, so that no one else has this experience. We definitely understood that things can get hectic and people make mistakes, but the next time I went after that experience, I was overcharged. Not sure if it was because they had to fix my nails for free the previous time or what... but the prices on the list did not match what I was charged, and when I brought it up to them they had no actual explanation. At that point my nails were already done, I definitely didn't want to stand up there arguing with them, but I have since seemed out a new salon. So yes your nails will come out good most of the time, but you may have sacrifice good customer service. read more

HORRIBLE establishment. I went and they put a chemical on my toe that burned it. I had to go to the doctor and take an antibiotic for infection 3 times a day for 5 days. When I called and told them, they offered no compensation or even an apology. My nails were done and the polish started chipping the same night I got them done. I like my nails very short and natural and it came out perfect! They always ask if I want anything to drink which is so nice. Before I express my love for my nails I want to say something referring to previous ratings that I read. Before I go anywhere I read reviews, I'll review a target before I even go to it, but I stumbled upon this shop through Instagram and then came to yelp to see that they were being rated poorly, IM NOT SURE WHY I DECIDED TO IGNORE THOSE BAD REVIEWS BUT IM SO GLAD I DID! I first called and made an appointment through carol, she was very nice and she set me with "refill for my full set" unaware that the last place I went to did not advise me they put gel on my nails (eminence nail spa is trash) Joseph kindly let me know it was going to be an extra 5 to remove the old nails and put on the new, I asked for light blue, and what blew my experience out of the water is that at first I wasn't crazy about the initial blue but carol was willing to CREATE A BLUE FOR ME!! She was attempting to mix blue and white to give a nice baby blue, but I settled for the one I had because Joseph showed me a swatch on a nail. I am extremely picky with shape, and every time I asked him about my nail he did not hesitate to fix it for me. Overall, I had an amazing experience and I will be back! Updating my review since my second time changed my mind about this place. I walked in and was getting a gel manicure and regular pedicure and I was there for almost 3 hours! Meanwhile as I waited, other employees were coming back to work and for some reason I was still waiting, my feet became pruny and the water Luke warm from waiting. Honestly, I was a walk in so I tried to let that go, but my manicure turned out HORRIBLE! I requested a chrome color (and was happy to pay the additional fee) and it was clearly the woman's first time using this kind of polish as she had to ask about it several times as she was doing my manicure. Also, after a week it looked so bad and cheap- which is why I write this updated review. There was zero urgency to speed up my very long wait and I was charged full price for a mediocre polish job. I have never had an issue with them. I will admit they take a long time but they shape your nails EXACTLY how you ask them to, which is the most important thing to me. I never did any other shapes before (standard square girl) but I decided to try out almond shaped with them, and have had that shape since then. The surroundings were also very clean 5/5 The woman doing my pedicure took extra care in manicuring my toenails and I was very pleased with the results 5/5 I wish I could say the same for the woman doing my acrylic nails. She poked my fingers numerous times with her tools (and without apologizing any of the times she did it). The skin on my pinky finger was raw and painful up to two days after she did my nails. I'm also not very pleased with the result. I'm NOT one to ever post reviews - I hate doing it. Although, I got pretty severe chemical burns from whatever they use there :/ One of my nail tech friends said it was probably off market product, and illegal so I'm surprised. I've never had a reaction to anything before! I had to go home and file it all off, waste of money.... I'm still in pain. Ontop of that the pedi woman seemed new, made my feet bleed even after telling her the cutters hurt. Also she didn't wear gloves.... I should have said something, gross. I was there 4 hours, received pretty remedial service, I even had an appointment days in advanced!! Ridiculous. I have nothing to show for now except burnt fingers, and scabbed up toes. Ugh. I was supposed to be going out of town in two days, this sucks. I saw photos online and thought they would be better quality. Only one girl seemed to know what she was doing, and had to take the time to coach everyone. It added to waiting time. I'll definitely never return. read more
