Paid over $100 to have my finger nails done yesterday & today the color on the gems & gold polish are turning a mucky color & I also started bleeding from how rough she was being & no apologies were given. The lady who did my toes didn't even clean under the toe nails before the polish so I still had debris from my socks under the nail & now somehow mixed in with the color. I've been going here on and off since December, with at least 5 visits. I'm never offered anything to drink, the work is SO inconsistent. It's like the more I go, the worse it gets. The last two times I got a pedicure they cut my toes up, they were hurting SO bad, I almost could cry! When I told the lady who was doing my toes it hurt, the man doing my nails gasped and said no. This was my first visit at Allute. I did not have an appointment and I was seated within 10 minutes. It had been over month since my last nail appointment and I needed a serious fill-in. The first nail tech was honest enough to tell me my nails needed more attention than she could handle. So I waited about 5 minutes for another nail tech who was very skilled and careful withy nails. My nails were cut, trimmed and designed just like the photo I presented. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness, design, smoothness and nail shape (almond). I took off a star due to the "towel factor". The same dirty towel was used throughout the nail process. All the clippings and dust collected on the towel was not changed enough. The nail dust on the towel could have been shaken off. And be sure to get pricing before services are performed. I saw no prices and requested a breakdown of services when done. read more

Went here on Tuesday April 25th (the day before writing this)... I got a mani and pedi both ended up terrible and very messy. My pedi was not done well and the acrylic added to my big toes are so uneven and chunky. The edges are not trimmed properly and are causing me so much discomfort. I told him to fix it multiple times but I guess he did the best he can. I tried contacting them to see if I can get it fixed but they haven't answered their phone. Secondly, the girl doing my nails was nice but also did not clean the edges of my SNS dip nails. It is very thick and chunky. I had to ask her to drill around the cuticles to make it thinner but if I didn't ask her to come back she would've let me go with a mess on my hands. I had to reshape them myself. Overall I will not be coming back here. I used to come here all the time and i don't know any of the new ppl so it sucks that I can get a decent pedi and mani. read more

I had a really good experience here! I was a walk-in and came early Friday morning around 10am. I got SNS with gel nail art on top and tips and we worked off a reference photo from Pinterest. I had Teresa and she was very patient and wonderful to talk to. She was also gentle on my nails unlike other nail salons I have been to. I would totally recommend this place! Just be aware that they are super popular and busy, so walking in midday and expecting fast service might not be possible (as I'm seeing seems to be the problem in a lot of the negative reviews). I would suggest going early morning (there were already at least like 8 customers there when it opened at 10am) and blocking out around 2 hrs for your work so you're relaxed and it's a good time. I came here to get regular pedicure and the whole place didn't look it's best. I remember coming here and it used to look much nicer. I was getting regular nail polish and they didn't have a great selection. My tech also didn't seem to be the most experienced. I asked her to trim my toes very short and she didn't. So I had to trim them when I got home. Nail polish seemed a little old because when she started painting my toes it would be so thick. So this is the third time I've visited Allure nail spa and I won't be returning. It is super convenient as it is about a three minute drive from where I'm staying but the inconsistencies in service is enough. The first time I went I wanted short coffin shaped nails. The turned out ok. A little too blocky for my taste as well as the lady doing my nails was very rude and in a rush. The second time. i believe her name was Tiffany did my nails and actually did a great job despite their not being the color I wanted. I got back into town and was in desperate need for a fill in and made a mistake by not using the same nail tech from the second time. My fill in left a lot to be desired but when it was time for color that's where things went left. I wanted a French manicure with glitter pretty simple right. For as expensive as this place is the color choices are very minimal which throws everything off when you have a color in mind and they don't have it or anything close to it. Two shades later and finally found a glitter that would do. It was the nail tech using his finger to wipe off mistakes from my nails instead of alchohol leaving bumps and lumps on my nails. Not to mention the glitter running out before my nails were done. Explaining to him that you could still see my old nail color behind my nail and his response was the new color would cover it. When it was all said and done. And I went to pay tbe $15 miscellaneous charge really threw me. Again lack of color options, inconsistencies with nail techs and pricing. As long as I've been getting my nails done I've never had these issues. I will definitley drive further for better service. read more

Almost two weeks later and my nails are in excellent condition. The owner who is a bit tall and male was a bit stand off ish when I entered but other than that my experience was a 9/10. I would definitely go back. I went because I needed to go to someplace in the area after an appointment ran over and I found a new nail salon as a result . Absolutely LOVED my service today! I'm new to the area and was leery about going but I'm so glad I did! Tina gave me the BEST signature pedicure- those hands are blessed & highly favored lol. The tub was lined, mask required & offered wine, water or soda. Ben did an amazing job on my nails, taking his time & answering my questions about his schedule & how the fill in process works with colored acrylic. They have a ton of pedicures to choose from. I did the signature which includes a citrus scrub, massage, hot towels & paraffin. Gel polish-tons of colors to choose from. I haven't posted a review on yelp in a while, so to bring me out of review retirement, this was obviously quite the experience and not in a good way. I mainly want to warn others regarding their scam-like pricing practices. I have been going to this salon on and off for the past several years since it's relatively close to my home. Off and on because the work is soooo inconsistent and there are times that the salon feels extremely unsanitary. But then the convenience of a three minute drive pulls me back in. I literally get the same service every time, fill in with design + pedicure but over the past year the price has ranged from $79 - $140. The most complex design I requested was marbling tips and that was $85, but an extremely simple design came to $133? They edit the prices of services at the POS system and if you call them out they start tacking on "up charges". I am not above paying for services but if you are going to make up prices as you please you should tell people before you start the service. They also have extremely high turnover which is annoying because you rarely get the same techs so there is a lot of inconsistency with the work, as noted above. The techs that I recognize as being there the longest are extremely rude and only in a rush to get you out the way. While I appreciate a quick service using a drill on my fingers until they burn is OD because you don't have the patience to file properly. The entire salon needs a thorough deep clean. There is built up nail dust everywhere. I also don't understand why in the year 2022, they are still dipping customer's fingers into the dip powder tub. read more

I will never come here again. I decided to give it a shot since it's close by, but note to self, go to the nail salon you know does an excellent job, even if it's 20-25 minutes away. Walked in and everyone was playing cards. Someone greeted finally and told me where to take a seat. The seat and table was dirty. The nail tech cleaned the table in front of me. Should have already been clean. All the TV's were off and there was no music. I was the only one in there. The guy doing my nails, his utensils didn't even seem sterile. I was getting SNS, and DO NOT like the way they remove the SNS. He put my hands in extremely hot acetone within a bowl and then placed a towel over my hands. It was so uncomfortable, but also extremely toxic while breathing. It was sooooo hard to breath. He was wearing a mask. I asked if he had an extra one, he did not. He also didn't ask me how the water was. I just turned my head around and tried to breathe in my shirt. It was so unbearable! Then he proceeded to clean off the top of a nail polish top that was crusty. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! Chips of the debree flying everywhere! No consideration. He also wasn't very friendly. No customer service. Then it started getting busier. At this point they decided to turn on the TV, music and stop playing cards. All I could think about is why did I not get the same service??? Then once the guy was finished he just said go wash your hands. I washed my hands and came back and he said, "Okay your done. Thank you." Did not actually massage my hands or rub the oil into my cuticles. Overall, won't be back and do not recommend! read more

I get short acrylics, almost touching my skin and always break 1-2 nails simply closing my trunk or using a wash cloth. They pop straight off like a press on. When I wake up, there is gel polish in the bed and my toe nails chip. How are sheets enough to make GEL, chip? They must have switched products. I spend at least $120+ for a pedicure and full set and the constant problems are above me. Walked in on a Wednesday and was seen within 5 minutes. Got a gel pedicure. Price is comparable for the area. I got the "regular" stylish pedicure and it was pretty standard. While some salons offer scrubs etc with the beginner pedicure this one is a lotion massage at the end. My overall pedicure is ok with some room for improvement in the quality. Small details like, evenness of nails, removing polish from skin etc kept this from 5 stars. read more

I have been coming to Allure on Northside for almost 4 years now and wouldn't change it. This location is perfect. It used to be a mile from my house, but after recently moving to Alpharetta I gave 3 other salons a shot. Huge mistake. The 50 minute drive is totally worth it. 1. Location. The location is prime. Right on Northside drive. Quick and easy drive from anywhere in the city. 2. Parking. Large parking lot, shared with Zaxby's with plenty of space. 3. Pricing. Totally reasonable in comparison to other atlanta nail salons. If you're coming from the suburbs it is a little higher, but here your nails won't chip after 3 days. I generally get sns & a luxury pedicure (includes 10 min foot massage) and I'm still able to keep it at or under $100. Depending if I decide to splurge a little on designs. In addition they have early bird pricing and give you perks from time to time. "We miss you." And "Happy Birthday" discounts. 4. Quality. Speaking of designs. Lily does a phenomenal job. She's super attentive and it shows. Not only does she do a splendid job on your nails. She also does a great job with lashes and shaping your eye brows. It's not just a quick wax. She takes the time to perfect them. Back to the main event. The quality products used at allure last around 3+ weeks and don't damage your nails. Plenty of options and all of the staff has proven to do a good job. 5. Staff. Everyone here has been super friendly. John, the manager is awesome! He really helps you out and makes sure you're taken care of. Bonus! They provide wine with your service. read more

This is my go-to location after trying out a few different locations. I have had a few less-than-5-star visits where there is still some nailpolish left under my nails or the sns only lasts 1-2 weeks, BUT I have found that usually happened when I tried to squeeze in a manicure last thing before they closed. My biggest piece of advice is to go a few times, and find which of the nail techs who you like, and then make appointments with them at times when they won't be slammed with clients or will be working against the clock when they're closing. read more
