My daughter and I walked in at 6:45 on a Wednesday. They close at 7:30. We were in a chair within 10 minutes. My daughters nails weren't wrapped up until 8:25. They did not rush because they were closed and did beautiful work. She wanted a lot with her nails lol! Diane dud my gel manicure and her manicure was thorough, felt good and she listened to me. I came here for the first time right before going on vacation. I showed a picture of how I wanted my nails done to the tech (mind you they were not difficult at all)! She said she could do it. On almost every nail there was something wrong. One of the designs included a double French which is really just 2 lines. I kept asking her to make the lines thicker because they were so thin, like fine tip pen. After 3 times, I gave up and just let it be. The other design she kept messing up and then trying to convince me it looked like the picture as if we weren't looking at the same picture lol. I gave up on that too and just asked her to do something different and she seemed frustrated that she had to remove it. If it looks bad, why are you the one frustrated! Meanwhile she was rushing me the whole time because she was trying to leave 30 minutes early from what the closing time states. I arrived an hour and a half before they were supposed to close and only got my hands done. She walked right out the door with me so I knew she was rushing me. If you go here, just get something simple, she's not very skilled with designs, even basic ones. I was very disappointed. I posted pictures of what I wanted versus what I got. One of the designs I just told her to do something else which is why I have pearls. I understand my nails were shorter but you can clearly tell she just didn't do a good job. read more

What an amazing experience I had here in this heartwarming and friendly salon. I haven't gotten my nails done in over 10 months in the states, and it was such a remarking experience. We were passing through Georgia, for a couple days, and I found this salon on yelp, and had to try it! Boy, am I glad I did. I called an hour before to make an appointment for a pedicure and fresh French set, and you would've never known they were short-staffed by 3 people. They were super busy, which is always a good sign! However, I was treated with a smile and engaging conversation the entire time by Stacy. I just got back from living 10 months in Italy, and boy was it nice to get my feet done properly in the states. They really paid attention to the cuticle line and ingrown skin on your feet. Thank fucking god!! I can't explain how nice it was to experience anew my nails in this salon! They are more on the high-end, in regards to service and foreseeing the customers needs, before the customer even asks. Very excellent quality and well-run establishment. We came for the Taylor Swift concert and when I say they killed... they killed it! I was in and out within 45 minutes on a walk in!

I'll go back! I came for the first time on a Wednesday afternoon, around 4ish. There weren't many customers when I walked in, but I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen. I wanted a basic SNS manicure, with no nail enhancements. My nails were already natural, so there was no need for any removal services. I dislike getting my nails done often, so as to not damage my nails too bad, so I was a bit hesitant to get SNS, but Stacy (my nail tech), was really nice and made it clear that she would make sure to not damage my nails. The whole SNS (dip powder) with manicure took about 1hr, and my nails look great! I was charged $58 (not including tip) for SNS dip on natural nails (no nail enhancements) with basic manicure. Prices here are a bit steep for basic nail services, but I guess inflation is jacking up prices everywhere! They do have a menu that lists all their prices, and taking a quick glance at the menu, I was stunned to learn they charge for everrryyttthing! Like literally! The next time I come, which will be to remove this SNS, I'll probably be spending $45 just for a regular manicure and SNS removal. I will say, Stacy did make my dip really thick (but not bulky) so I feel like my manicure will last a while, which I am happy about because I refuse to shell out $58 every couple of weeks for a basic SNS manicure. There's parking behind the nail salon, but unfortunately when I came, I couldn't find the garage/parking deck they said was for the business, so I parked across the street in the public parking garage. Lucky for me, I didn't have to pay, as the gate was broken, but I think it's $6.50 for a couple of hours (don't quote me on that), in the public parking garage across the street from the nail salon. Next time, I'll come really early to see if I can find the free parking they claim to have. All in all, for a first time visit, not too bad. I think I'll come back and request Stacy. read more

Serenity Nail Salon is my go to nail salon and has been for the past year or so since I relocated to ATL. I tried a few other places at first that are actually closer to me but I found Serenity's quality of work and consistency just better by far. I usually get a dip manicure and gel pedicure and have never left disappointed. It's a well-run, cleanly and organized studio. I like the ambiance and space - it's a smaller salon with a chill atmosphere. The staff are professional and friendly. The studio manager/staff do a good job answering the phone, even when it gets really busy, and they'll be upfront with you if and when they can fit you in (if you don't have an appointment). The location is great, right off the Beltline in Inman Park, so very walkable but there is also street and garage parking close by. Also, they have a loyalty program so if you sign up with your name and number, you can get a couple dollars off a future service after several visits. Emily has foil, nail chains, Japanese style nail decorations, nail stamps, etc. She has all the things! If she doesn't have the things, she'll order them to make your nail dreams a reality. SNS nail art is about $65 and up but it will last you for at least three weeks. People always are amazed that my nails hold up for a month without any chipping or something falling off (when I have like chains and stuff happening on my nails). I think it's hit or miss. The lady who was assigned to do my pedicure. Didn't start off right so I told her never mind. I had already been soaking in the water and she started cutting my cuticles right away without pushing them back. I told her to push my cuticles back and she just took the tool and just passed over it. I knew then it wasn't going right and told her to stop. She said I needed to soak and then she can cut it. Keep in mind I was already soaking for 10 minutes. She started speaking in Korean (I think) to the other nail technicians which is fine...lol. She stayed in front of me and said let me try again. I said cool and told her I really like my cuticles pushed back and taken off. She did the same as before and I told her to stop. It's fine. Then again talking to the other nail techs in Korean about me, b/c everyone started looking my way. Manager came over and asked what the problem was. I just said I didn't like the way she started my pedicure and that was that. No biggie. The situation I didn't like was when my male friend who is black wanted the guy that did our friends nails to do his and he said, "I don't do men hands." Then I asked for him to did my feet and he said he doesn't do feet either. That was disrespectful and rude. But like I said it's fine, there are other nail shops in Georgia. Just beware. Btw. I went to Serenity 10 days ago for a new full set my acrylic nails. As of today 3 of them haven't broken. Not only have they broken, all 3 broke the same way. The tips snapped off. As someone who has been wearing acrylics for 15+ years ... it's obvious that the acrylic was too thin and this often is done on purpose so you have this issue and have to return to pay for Repairs and a fill. These days, I make appointments with my girl Kathy. It took me a while to find someone here who took the time and had the skill to do my nails AND my toes. I got gold SNS nails there and my technician used the nail drill a TON, especially down near my cuticles, which are still red and slightly painful now (next morning). The technician also used the nail file under and on the sides of my nails like 6 or 7 times. At the end of the manicure, I had to put my nails under the UV/LED light, which I've never had to do for any of the dozen other times I've gotten SNS. The manicure took over 45 minutes, and I came in with bare nails. I'm dreading when I get the polish taken off for how destroyed my nail beds will be. The nails themselves look good, but the weird process and still being in pain is very frustrating. I probably won't be returning. One final note is that the buffers and files were used, and it didn't look like they had been sterilized from the last use. read more
