With the customer service and the quality of work I received, I would have expected this to be the least expensive place in Atlanta. There are so many places in Atlanta and surrounding areas that charge half the price and yet have 10x better nail techs. Some specifics: Lazy. Rushed. Ferocious scraping of cuticle and then skipped some cuticles. Shape not even. Unnecessary extra drilling of nail. My nail tech had an unprofessional way of dipping and also she is nasty for putting her fingers in dip to move the powder to nail. Ferocious filing of nail which damaged my nail beds. They don't scrape and clean under your fingernails. Too disorganized; steps not evenly distributed. They charge an additional fee for taking your old polish off. read more

The lady did a great job, but i just cant with the over pricing most places i go to acrylic even with gel is always cheaper than SNS. disclaimer this nail salon charges $50 for full set with acrylic, plus $10 for take off and another $10 for french tip totaling out to $70. SNS starts at $45 plus an xtra $5 for tips... anyhow i would have just gotten SNS. i normally go to atlantic station to get my nails done and pay $60-70 for french tip with SNS!! and that's saying something. im not sure if i will come back but it is good to know what people are charging vs the quality of work. im not 100% satisfied with my nails but it will do. again the employees were friendly. I'm between a 2 and a 3. Closer to a 2. Peachtree is a very desolate and forlorn place on a Sunday afternoon. Closed businesses. Tons of homeless people. Nothing really aesthetically pleasing. I never remember Atlanta looking so depressed. As for the salon, well, it was somewhere between "not great" and "fine but not super impressive". The woman who did my nails was great though. She did a massage as an add-on and she used fantastic pressure. I just wish she would have moved me to a different chair. The chair at the manicure table kept rolling and I wasn't that comfortable, but the massage itself was very high quality. The manicure was pure crap. She talked me into the powder dip, which I've had before, but it has not been even a week and this is chipping off. And I don't like my nails squared, but that's what she did, even after telling her rounded. Over all, it's a no for me. read more

I couldn't find free parking which is the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars. I ended up paying $20 across the street by Benihana (still close proximity), so that payment was a tip loss. In addition, if you do not live in ATL and don't know where to go, you'll end up walking up a block and getting lost. If it weren't for the security outside the mall to guide me, I would have cancelled the appointment and left. I loved the service though. The nail artist was a male, I don't remember his name -- but he did well replicating the Pinterest picture and we created designs for the thumbs. Nice and upbeat staff. Henry did a really great job on my nails today, I noticed how my last gel French manicure looked fresh for 3 weeks, I love the gel nail because the polish lasts so long. Tip : ( ladies always use big rubber gloves when you wash dishes) my nails were popping off so I went in for repair told him what happened so he RE ENFORCED THE BAIL FULL SET WITH GLUE ON THE BOTTOM! He did beautiful design on my nail today. I told him story about how my grandma passed and how getting my nails done is a sentiment. He is very friendly conversation. He remembered me from last time and they serve wine when you get your feet done. The last time we couldn't all stop laughing. Very classy place good atmosphere. This was my first stop off MARTA and actually convenient since I did need my nails done. The salon is clean so I'll give them that. I give this place two stars for the following reasons. A gentleman did my nails. I asked him to clip my nails. He did then filed them. If I hadn't checked my nails, they would have been a lopsided rounded nail. He was ready to continue on to painting my nails and I had to stop him and ask him to file my nails. During my manicure as the gentleman was clipping skin around my nail beds, he cuts my cuticle. Fine, it happens sometimes. Well the gentleman is getting upset with me because I can't seem to relax my stuff fingers and proceeds to tell me that my inability to relax my fingers is what caused him to cut my cuticle. My pedicure was okay. She trimmed my nails but my nails are crooked. She didn't file them to straighten them out. Shame on me for focusing on my phone and not her skills. read more

Tommy did an AMAZING job on my nails!! I absolutely LOVE them!! I paid $73 for my nails and that's with a tip. It is a little pricey because this shop is located in ATL. Service was nice but the only complaint I have is that this one lady tried to charge me more than what Tommy initially told me when I showed him the style and design I wanted which was $63. This lady did not touch my nails at all. She came over to look at my nails and asked Tommy in Vietnamese "hey you're gonna charge her $90-$100 right?". I don't think she knew I spoke/understood Vietnamese but she tried to finesse more money out of me than what Tommy told me he was going to charge. In the end Tommy did not charge me that high of a price but I still thought that was very shady of her to do. Also another thing...the little rhinestones on my ring finger started to come off within the same day because my hair got stuck and pulled them off when I was washing my hair. This is the best place to get your nails done if you go to GSU. It's like a five minute walk from aderhold and they also give student discount. The employees are very nice and will do your nails super quickly. The inside of the salon is nice and if you make an appointment then your wait should be less than 10 minutes to be seated. read more

In a pinch, Luxury Nails will do. They have a large store located in The Hub of Peachtree Center. On my particular visit, which was late afternoon on a Friday, my wait was only ~10 minutes. I was popping in for a quick gel manicure after a meeting. I assume this location gets a lot of foot traffic from patrons who work in the area or are in town visiting for conferences. Communication skills here are lacking. After advised what chair to sit in, I was never offered a beverage or given the color selection for gel. Luckily, I simply wanted white but typically you are given the gel colors the minute you request a gel manicure. Throughout the service (which took about 40 minutes total) my manicurist hardly spoke to me, just motioning my next steps on the process with her hands. She spoke in her native language to her co-workers leaving me to just stare off into space. Granted, they did have a TV in there with the volume low and the closed captions on. It just wasn't a friendly vibe, it was more a "get the job done" kind of vibe. And this is why I assume most of their traffic is just because of folks who "happen" to be in the area. I don't see the desire to seek them out unless simply out of convenience. Another note on communication would be that while completing the service, she did say "dry, you need to do paraffin wax" and I was not sure if she meant at home or it was a recommendation or what. Before the end of the service, she brings the bags of wax and never once tells me that a) it will be at an additional cost or b) what that additional cost will be. I'm not sure that I agree with the $6 cost of a paraffin upgrade when I have a dentist who does it for free at every visit...and I have an upcoming appointment so I could've saved the moola! All of this to say, my gel manicure is nice. The quality is up to par, but the experience itself leaves much to be desired. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The prices they advertise are not the prices ultimately charged at check out. My daughter was charged $115 for a full set with French tip. I understand there is an upcharge for designs like French tip. However, don't advertise $55 for a set of nails and then up charge her because she wants to keep the length. You aren't even adding to the tip- you are just keeping the original length. Very deceptive business practices. She gets nails at various places in metro atlanta and is never charged more than 85 unless she wants a unique design. I didn't think French tip was considered that unique - certainly not for that amount of money. The crazy thing is that just three months ago, she went here and was charged $85 for the exact set of nails. How can your prices go up so drastically in three months? When I asked this question , I was told that the $85 was a mistake. Okay. Well, there are lots of high quality nail salons around town so you lost us as customers. read more

After 40 minutes having my feet in water soaking and completely uncomfortable I gave up and asked if it was faster to get a fill instead. There was someone which I think was the manager and said she could do the manicure and pedicure at the same time. My feet were white of them being in water for so long I decided to just do a fill. The guy that did my fill was super nice and seemed like he was doing a good job... NEXT day comes and MY GEL IS PEELING! Of all the years ive done gel it has NEVER PEELED THE NEXT DAY! Sooooo I needed my nails and feet done for a wedding I was attending on Friday in Atlanta. While the customer service, was nice and pleasant for the price my nails should have not been easily chipped after 2 days. On top of them being chipped, they then broke off because they were buffed extremely thin. I also used SNS, which typically makes it harder for my nails to break and last 2-3 weeks. Okay for starters, you cannot judge a book by its covered. This nail shop is located inside the Peachtree Center Mall, but due to renovations, it looks like a hole in the wall. But it is not... you are definitely receiving a luxury service. They have a menu, offering different services for manicures and pedicures... this time I got the Rose pedicure. It comes with your basic pedicure, sugar scrub, callus remover, paraffin wax, a deep foot massage, followed by hot towels and lathered in oily or hydration... how can I remember this you ask, I don't, I read the menu again after my nap... Lol But my feet feels 10lbs lighter, legs are smoother, pain in my feet are non-existent... I mean, what more could you ask for. They have a plethora of gel colors, so no need to ask what colors they have... ijs... this leg massage.... chile' I need to have one of these at least once a week. No more aches and pains in my calf muscles, I mean this has been by far one of the best pedicures.... I never would have considered going to the nail salon in the mall where I work upstairs, based on the assumption it wouldn't meet my standards. Boy was I wrong to make that assumption. Tommy did my manicure just before Christmas because I was unable to make an appointment at my regular salons due to the holiday. He was phenomenal and lightning fast. He took charge (I'm very indecisive) and knew just what to do. I left extremely happy. I decided to to go back to him today. He did an even BETTER job than before. I went in to get my toes and nails done. "Btw I'm from Houston and am only in town for the weekend "and do my OWN acrylics usually. But I wanted to treat myself... She took 15 mins on my toes , the chair I was seated in was broken. So there's 45$ I could have just painted them myself they weren't even gel. I got a plain red stiletto set to match, She did them way too thick and also crooked. As well as giving me chemical burn around my cuticles. Making me bleed and using unsanitary brushes! I ended up waiting to see if maybe she could fix them ... but 3 HOURS later she tried to put the clear coat on and call it a day so I asked for her things and sat there and tried to fix them as much as I could ended up being charged 77$ for the nails so I told her it was unacceptable and she gave me 14$ off.. considerably I'm pissed wasted my time and my money. I really enjoyed my pedicure. I didn't really care for the long wait it took for someone to seat me in a spa chair though. I sat in the waiting area for 20 minutes. then two young white girls walked in after me and were seated right away even though no one was working on them. I also didn't really care for the fact that they had mask signs everywhere but no one made these two women out their mask on and they were so loud just talking away. I really wanted them to put their masks on. aside from the white privilege... I actually enjoyed the work on my feet. The lady did a good job of getting my ingrown nails with out being asked. when I go most nail shops they just leave the ingrown nail and it just gets worse and worse. I'll be back. read more

Recommend by a friend this place is a hit or miss. Shaping and technique are okay but if you want rounded or almond Shaped nails then you may not get what you want. They are very busy so come at off peak hours because if not you might be just sitting in the spa chair or at a station for 10-25 min until some is available. They do up charge for a lot of things I feel are standard, such as cuticle clean up (shouldn't that be apart of the manicure) so you're going to slap on some gel and have my cuticles messed up?
