To start off, I have been coming here for a couple years now, getting both full sets and pedicures, and I will no longer be coming back. While I have received some good services over the years, lately this place has just felt like a scam. Full sets "start" at $55 but there's a $5 fee for shape (you have to shape nails, what're y'all even talking about) and $15 for length. Now I get that when people have long or extra long nails, it costs more to do. But these are my nails below. The very last time I went in, she tried to gaslight me into thinking I have abnormally long nail beds and that's why the VERY obviously short nails are considered "medium" (also these are pictured a week after them being done so they're longer than when they were fresh). So I'm paying $70 for basic acrylic nails that they don't even properly prep -- my cuticles are never do much as pushed back. As for pedicures, I will say I've had some good ones there, but lately I've also not been receiving the same level of service. The world is trash right now so I get the decrease in effort, not as upset as I am about weird nail pricing. I continued to come because it was convenient, but one thing I will not be is continuously scammed. If anyone has any suggestion for places that don't have all these weird fees, doesn't even have to be cheaper, please let me know. read more

The service was amazing, and this is one of the best mani/pedis I have received anywhere. I had my old SNS set removed and a new full set done. I also had the VIP pedi. I booked my appointment instead of walking in because you never know availability with nail salons. I'm glad I did too because I was the first one in a chair. I got a soft gel mani & a classic pedi. For my nail color I did unicorn chrome. That color is soooo cute! The nails look a little wider than what I was expecting and one of them is slightly crooked. And they also use the electrical tools which causes some warm burning to the nail at times. I prefer not to have those used on me but since this isn't my regular go to place, I just let them keep going. The classic pedi came with a foot scrub. I love me a foot scrub. The staff was nice. They was putting in work! They do validate 2 hours of parking at one of the garages near by but I parked on the street. read more

Stopped here while in town for my husbands job and Mai did a fantastic job doing my gel pedicure. It was higher than what I usually pay in Texas but she did a great job! Very satisfied. Would love to see them offer a military discount. I did wait a little bit in the chair which felt a bit awkward but I'd go back because the work was good. read more

Immediately as I walked in I was greeted, which mean something to me! The receptionist was sweet and very helpful. She assisted me with checking in and getting my parking validated. She was patiently while I continuously went back and forth about what exact service I wanted, yes I am the indecisive one. My nail tech was fabulous! I have to give it to him he helped me pick and when I couldn't I put my trust in him that he would pick something was right for me and he was spot on. At first - no lie I was a little concerned but after a minute and his skills my nails came out perfect! I would like to think him also for his patience, my choosiness is no joke! Thank you friend! He's also a very good conversationalist! He got a few kiki's out of me. The vibe of the place is that of a standard nail salon, which is not a deal breaker for me. But I have gotten spoiled at my previous nail salon with the music and atmosphere that I sometimes forget that's not standard. I also liked that when I came in there wasn't an overwhelming smell of acetone, that is a deal breaker. I felt comfortable and very welcomed. I didn't feel like I was apart of an assembly line rushing you out to rush the next in. I also feel like this is one of the more reasonable nail salons. The service I received today was SNS with tips add and French tip and my grand total was $70. That cheap compared to paying $110 for a similar style at other locations. I've been coming to this nail salon consistently for over two years, and I will not return. I didn't like the outcome of a service I've had done several times previously. I returned to have it fixed, and felt incredibly disrespected. Previously the technician dipped my nails 3-4 times, but this time only a slight base and one dip. It didn't look good and they felt like they would chip. But after explaining this, the change in application wasn't the issue, I was. I was told not to choose that product anymore, even though I kept reiterating I had no issues previously. I was in the market for a new nail salon because you already know you have to have a few of them in rotation in this city LOL! I have driven past Bijoux many times and finally decided to check them out as I desperately needed a gel pedicure. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a young gentleman who asked me what they could do for me today. I told him I was hoping to get a gel pedicure and he then seated me right away as they were not too busy. He provided me with a color book to pick out my color and that was a much better experience than having to search through rings and rings of gel colors on sticks like I do at other nail salons. My nail tech, Kacie didn't say much but when she did she was pleasant and carefully took her time with my pedicure which I much appreciated. I loved how my feet came out! Absolutely love this place. Found it walking around and loved the luxury look of it and needed a new nail place to treat myself after moving here. The staff from reception to everything was nice and professional. I got the basic mani pedi and love how they start the nails during the leg and foot massage and portion. The massage was really great on the legs and feet and the massage chair was beyond amazing and relaxing!! Visiting from San Diego and was walking around midtown when I decided to get my nails done. So glad I chose Bijoux. Stellar experience. They were able to accommodate me immediately on a Thursday afternoon for a manicure and pedicure (which were both done perfectly). I walked to the salon and on the way ended up with two major blisters on my feet but they were so accommodating (it looked gross, not Gonna lie) and also patient with me when I ended up changing what I wanted to do to my nails. read more

Horrible service. They skimp on supplies, particularly the acetone to remove gel. The young lady who did my nails got up and walked away because I asked her to stop scraping my nails. She was very intentional about placing one drop of acetone only on each nail to remove the gel. She damaged my nails. She got up, without saying anything and never came back. She had a horrible disposition that was not challenged or reprimanded by the young lady who said she was the new manager. The young lady who walked away, had terrible energy and looked like a demon, just mean and angry! When I checked out, I noticed my bill was slightly higher than normal. I asked why and the NEW manager said it was because of the ACETONE. It's actually on the receipt that I kept. When I questioned why I had been charged $10.00 for acetone, she said all the nail shops were doing it, because of Covid. Mind you this was in 2022. LOL When I left, I called six nail shops in the area, and asked if they charged extra for acetone they all laughed and asked where I had been charged for acetone. I was more than happy to tell them, Bijoux on Spring Street. The lady at BEELAGEO Nails, invited me to try them and assured me there was no shortage of ACETONE, because of COVID. BEELAGEO is a beautiful shop with talented nail artist. When I went to the new shop, they told me that my natural nails were ruined and advised me to cut then all off and start over. I recorded the new nail tech saying that, in case I decide to sue BIJOUX for ruining my nails and over charging me. What an ignorant bunch of women at BIJOUX. WARNING: Be warned they go from client to client without washing their hands at BIJOUX, but ask customers to wash their hands when the enter the door. When I asked the same demon that damaged my nails, to wash her hands after finishing a pedicure and then coming straight over to do my manicure. She became upset. Maybe, that's why she started scraping my natural nails, to get back at me, because she was offended that I wanted her to wash the hands that had just been rubbing some mans feet. ****They also have a high turnover at BIJOUX. Don't bother, there are so many other qualified nail shops in the midtown area that do excellent work! read more

They are Priced the same as any other nail salon. They do have great service they actually try to refer to you as your name. They do not discriminate they treat anyone who walks in there the same. Mike who does my nails is really bomb ! you can tell he knows how to ensure your nails last. They're check in system, I really like because they keep track of when you came so they can build rapport with you which is very important when you go to a nail salon so often. I wish I could give this place a 1/2 star!!!!!!! Awful!!! I got a regular manicure on Sunday 5/8/22 and the polish peeled off the next day Monday. I went in to have them redo my nails with an OPI polish and they charged me $13 for a polish change because it was a different polish. I have been getting regular manicures for 30 years and I've never had my polish chip a day later and the salon not repolish my nails free of charge. I will not return. read more
