Hanna did dip powder on my nails (first time I ever got this done) and she was so patient and thorough with the whole process. I came in with gel polish on my nails already, and she was patient in removing the gel to not damage my natural nails. Then, she found the perfect shade to match the one the producers of the movie wanted. The part that required the most patience was the shaping of the dip powder after it set, as well as her mending a cracked nail under the dip powder. Her precision and care were top of the line. I'm also glad they didn't pull out the cheese grater looking tool or chop up my cuticles. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because, she pulled off one of the nails because it didn't fit to her liking, and while I'm glad she wanted to make sure the outcome looked how she wanted, I am nervous that my nail might be damaged once this comes off. It was quite a tug and the nail bed didn't look great to me after. I'm nervous in general because of the filing. I'm not use to sitting that long at my regular nail salon. Not even a week later the gel from my manicure started to peel...a lot. For the price I paid (which is comparable to my regular salon) I expected at least two weeks out of the manicure. They did what I asked so I'm not mad about that; I just expected higher quality for the price.
