I'm not trying to rub it in your face- I, too, have scoured Sephora in search of the mascara that I was for some reason convinced I could buy- a mascara that would ramp my wimpy blonde lashes into the lush stratosphere that only exists in fairy tales and Maybelleine commercials. Failure after failure to find it didn't discourage me, and the dozens of half-used tubes under my bathroom sink are a testament to that shameful cycle. Let's be perfectly honest for a second. And let me tell you, Mother Nature skimped a little bit when it came to MY peepers. So what's the solution? I booked a convenient online appointment through their Facebook page with Ionela and showed up at their facility on Piedmont Rd. yesterday afternoon. I was immediately put at ease by the soothing music and cute design choices in the lobby. The process took about 2 hours and was so low-key and painless that I literally took a nap for part of it. When I woke up my eyelashes had been seamlessly transformed. They are now long, soft, black, and curled gently. However, and you'll have to take my word for this: they don't look fake. The best lash salon in Atlanta, hands down!!! The first time I went to Flawless lashes was August of 2013. I had read a couple reviews and really wanted some lashes for a wedding that I was during Labor Day weekend. Amy was amazing. She walked me through how everything worked to make sure I felt comfortable, even after she started the application. From the moment you lay down you are treated well. The bed is warmed (and you can also have a blanket if you want). They have lovely music playing in the background, the salon is super comfortable. It takes about 2 hours for the initial application, I am usually so comfortable I doze off. My lashes were amazing for the wedding, I received compliments from everyone I talked to. I went back for a few refills before I decided to stop getting lashes. The lashes are weightless and super soft. When you are cleansing your lashes they feel like they are your own. Fast forward a year. I went to a mall location for cheaper lashes per the advice of a celebrity on Instagram and that is exactly what I got, cheap lashes. It was a terrible experience, my eyes were actually in pain and I removed them at home within 3 days. I then decided a few weeks later to try another person that a friend recommended. Same experience. They weren't as painful, but they weren't comfortable and I would wake up with my eyes hurting. I could tell from these two experiences my lashes had some serious damage. I called Flawless Lashes and made an appointment for removal of my current lashes and a full set of lashes. I will NEVER go to another salon. Flawless Lashes actually cares about the health of your lashes and take strides to make sure your lashes aren't being damaged. Again, my lashes look amazing. I love them. I can wear minimal makeup because they impact of the lashes is so good. Ladies - don't put yourself through the pain of trying a place because they have a $99 special. I promise, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! And when it comes to your lashes, you really need to make sure you are taking care of them. If you have lashes and they are uncomfortable in any way this means they are cheap lashes and were not applied correctly. Believe me, I learned the hard way. They will damage your lashes and your lashes will start to break off which happened to me. Make sure you ask the right questions. Actually feel the lashes before the application, you will be able to tell if they are soft or not because they don't get any more comfortable after application. read more

I've had eyelash extensions for more than one year and totally addicted. They are fabulous; out of the shower, end of a run and your lashes look great. I've been going to Sarah for about six months and her work is top notch. If you're picky, like me, she's the go to person. I was so hesitant at the time to go try them out because... #1 not too many reviews on them (even though they were all 5 stars it just didn't have enough reviews) #2 Cost So..here I am again writing an update..bc women have to know how great and life changing these lashes are! Maybe they don't have as many Yelp reviewers on here bc it's something special we want to keep to ourselves. 2nd reason: COST ...The apprentice special was the PERFECT nudge to just go ahead and try them out. Plus my lids were getting too inflamed I had to try something else..something new. Since my visit with Tatyana January 2013, I had my extensions for a year and a half. LOVEE THEM!! Minimal makeup during the day perfect for work..and an Explosion of sexiness at night! My lids have healed. Unfortunately all great things ended..I moved from Atlanta about 7 months ago. I missed the work the ladies did for me at Flawless Lashes. I've had my lashes continued here in New Orleans. They are pretty but not exceptional. Flawless Lashes and Tatyana's work are EXCEPTIONAL. 2012 update: Been going to Sarah at Flawless Lashes for almost four years now (whoa!), and I have been having my lashes done by both Ionela and Lauren this past year. They are all so awesome, and I know that when I set foot into their Buckhead retreat, I'll always be in good hands. Lashes are my chance to relax...literally. First, let me write that Sarah does an amazing job. She meticulously isolates each lash and applies the extension with care. She also uses varying extension lengths so the whole lash line looks very natural. I've had these lashes for eight weeks and they look so fresh. There are no clumps, I can easily comb through my lashes, and they don't feel heavy on my lid at all! Also, I've had minimal fall-out. Because they are attached to my natural lashes, the extensions fall out when my natural lash falls out. I go in for fills every 2-3 weeks just to keep them looking perfect. On one fill-in, I did have an area that was particularly sensitive. Sarah saw the problem immediately and corrected it. I liked how she paid attention to detail and made sure I felt comfortable with my new lash extensions. Caring for them is so very easy, just use an oil-free make-up remover - and don't use mascara! (The oil in the mascara breaks down the adhesive bond). They will last longer the less you mess with them - so keep your fingers off them too - (remember - you have oil in your hands)!!! I love that Sarah takes time to make them look natural. I have seen some people with extensions and they look like they are going for a drag queen competition or they look like doll lashes. That is great, if that's the look you're going for; but if you want lashes that you can be comfortable in every-day wear and to vamp up with a bit of eyeliner at night - you need to go to Sarah! I'm constantly receiving compliments on how great they look. Sometimes people can't even tell what I've done differently - they just tell me how pretty I look. I absolutely LOVE how natural my eyelash extensions look and feel!! I just had my first appointment with Ionela at Flawless Lashes and I am very pleased. I was like many women that put their eyelashes through the insanity of adding cluster lashes or what some establishments supposedly call "individual" lashes. While I guess they can be attractive (depending on the person doing the work) you are still left with the long-lasting damage to your natural eyelashes from the terrible glue often used and the weight of heavy lashes on your eyelids. I had just moved up to the Buckhead area from Florida, and I had tried another place in the area previous to coming here. They also had good reviews, but I was not very pleased with my fill as they felt very heavy on my eyes. I was in Atlanta for my wedding, but I live in NYC and had my lashes done there. Two days before my wedding, my right eye lashes started falling off and looked very sparse compared to my left eye.
