She was very patient, took the time to listen to my concerns, and made great recommendations. If you don't have an appointment, I recommend calling before you head in. Only Chhaya was there on Saturday midday and she asked me to come after 12:30 because she'd be tied up in appointments until then. The salon itself is clean and she wore a mask the entire time. You can pay--including tip--on credit card. Threading cost $11. My old salon offered aloe, post-service, which was not offered here. But I live closeby enough that it was no big deal to apply some when I got home. It hurt about the amount that I expected and no bleeding, cuts, etc. It's great that they also have a punch card system. Happy to have found my go-to spot for threading!

I have a hair appointment at my typical salon. Told my fiancé that I have to leave early to swing…read moreby here for brows before my haircut. He told me I can just get my eyebrows done where I get my hair done, and it occurred to me that the fact that I like the work My Waxing & Threading does so much that I'd rather make a separate stop is deserving of a review. My eyebrows aren't ones that "just need cleaned up"; they require shaping and coaxing into something that looks like they belong on a human face and not on a muppet. Because they don't come with their own natural shape that can be followed, I require somebody who can envision what they SHOULD look like and what balance works well with my face. I'm always happy leaving here with brows that are not too thick, not too thin, and are a nice shape that flatters my face and brings it into balance. I hope this shop stays in business for a long time to come.

Overall I am pleased with the results of my eyebrow threading. This was one of the least painful…read morethreading I've had. The shape was aligned with my face. What I did not enjoy was being told repeatedly I didn't have hair in my eyebrows. Whenever there was a "gap" she would point it out and say "no hair", "no hair" and laugh a bit. It got a little mundane to be honest. Also when I first walked in, I had to repeatedly say just eyebrows after attempting to be sold multiple services/products. So the service was meh. The shop is new, pretty, and bright. Overall, I would return but I am a little jaded by the sly comments.

I have been searching for an eyebrow artist and a studio that offers a consistent experience. I usually go to the eyebrow threading places around Atlanta that accept walk-ins and where you always have a different employee performing your service. This is different, it's a VP experience! Yvonne works by appointment only, and I recommend booking ASAP because her calendar fills up quickly.   Why pay the extra money for VpBrows? You are treated like an individual and not just a number, she uses face and brow mapping to achieve the best ideal shape, and you choose between waxing, threading, or tweezing to achieve it. She explains everything she does and I believe she is also a perfectionist so you will not be disappointed with your brows because she pays attention to the details.   This review is long overdue, I first visited this location in July and my brows were a hot mess, I received so many compliments after leaving VpBrows and I was very happy with the service and work. What are you waiting for, book the appointment.

They haven't fallen prey to overpricing and for that, I am grateful. HOWEVER, they have become a bit pushy when it comes to services that you don't want. Recently, I switched from threading to waxing. It's more precise and it makes them take their time. Well, they don't seem to like that lol! This is the second time that I've come in, stated that I wanted a WAX, and they try to pull out the thread. When I repeat myself, they try to argue me down about why threading is better. I'm not a young girl getting her eyebrows done for the first time. I'm a grown lady who knows what she prefers on her brows. At the end of this appointment, the girl starts threading anyway, stating that the brows will be sharper. Now, the brows did come out looking good, but they are a bit thinner and I'm annoyed because she kept trying to do extra things. They don't listen, and I don't want to fight with a service provider on something that I want and that works for me. I will be finding another place where getting a wax isn't such a hassle.
