I am completely unsatisfied. I went and got a full set of acrylics and half of them aren't the same shape that I asked for. At least 3 of the nails are crooked and don't cover some one my real nail. It seemed like they were doing a rushed job. The polish job is terrible. There isn't total coverage on my name some parts you can see. And when she was applying the acrylic she left some extra on the under side of the nail which is extremely bothersome. I will not be going back. read more

Stopped by yesterday for a pedicure and was really impressed with the salon. They got me in quickly and everyone working there was very friendly. The salon was clean and the pedicure chairs were comfortable and gave a nice massage. I got the most expensive pedicure which including an extra 15 minute massage....very relaxing! I was a little skeptical when I first walked in because it was so full and it looked like they had people up and out in no time and I felt like they may not take their time but I was pleasantly surprised at how well they did my nails and my sisters. This use to be my #1 favorite spa for a pedicure. In fact the staff is really nice and a few of them do an exceptional job with the mani/pedi service. Unfortunately my last several experiences have been extremely disappointing. My main complaint is they RARELY run on schedule. I 'm not taking about 5/10 minutes, they have been 30/40 behind. I value my time and always make an appointment so that I know I can get in when I need to but they have been so late when I've gone in for my scheduled service that at least 3 times I've had to leave because the timing was too tight with other things going on in my day. Today I had a special occasion scheduled and reserved time for mani/pedi's for a party of three, an appointment I made on Monday for this Friday. We went in to the shop to discover that the owner Lily wrote our appointment down for Saturday. They didn't have anyone available to help us so not only were they NOT concerned about the mix up at all. No apology, no alternate option just dismissed like we we walked in with a ridiculous expectation to receive service. We have gone to this shop for years! So we left without the staff giving a care in the world. I will take my business elsewhere from now on. read more

She proceeded to finish the pedicure with a 10 minute leg and foot massage. My gel manicure was done well too. I will come back for sure. read more

Can one please explain how 2 replica services consisting of a gel manicure and a pedicure be different in pricing? $35 vs $45 hmmm makes one wonder. Guess some prefer to bump up the costs to guarantee a tip... To top it off...when you inquire why there's a difference... the story changes with each persons explanation... and even a last ditch attempt to explain the difference in cost is due to "we only cut 2 of your daughters cuticles and all of yours... " Hmmm...so you mean the gel "manicure" I and my daughter asked for includes an ala carte cuticle service.... Word of wisdom to Unique Nails.... be consistent in pricing when your rendering the same services.. better yet, post your pricing accurately... Hell if you had said the pricing was $45 out the door and I had been charged that for both services at the same rate there would have been no questions asked and likely no discussion ... I normally don't write negative reviews nor am I a difficult customer to please ... but I really had high hopes for this salon especially after reading several great reviews on here. I originally came in for a gel manicure, but was offered a SNS dip powder service since it was considered to be a healthier alternative. Since it was $8 extra, I decided to give a whirl. Initially the manicure service was going well until a customer who came in for a pedicure appointment threatened staff to leave immediately if she didn't get service right then and there. I could tell the staff were getting all flustered and the lady doing my manicure proceeded to rush with finishing to accommodate the customer. Since she didn't finish my manicure completely, another staff member left his customer sitting right beside me to apply top coat. While he was doing this, it seemed like he was struggling with applying the top coat either because the brush was inadequate or the quality of the top coat was too chunky. After applying like 4 top coats, I could already see my nails looking very chunky, uneven, and see little bubbles at the corner of my nail form. I'm aware that SNS dip powder manicures are more thick than gel, but I feel like the quality was compromised as a result of a rushed service. Lastly, to top it off, I was rushed to leave the salon while waiting for my manicure to dry. Another staff member came by touched my nails and told me I was okay to go and I felt rushed trying to gather cash out of my wallet without ruining my half assed manicure.... read more

Sooooo I'm not a stickler on reviews and being over the top about my toes as long as they are even and painted correct. My nails were uneven, the tip of the nail wasn't painted and she did a super rush job with the little massage I did receive. It wasn't calming or relaxing. I sat in the chair and was never asked what package I wanted or anything. The lady sat next to me and was giving the package list and was also asked if she wanted something to drink. Ok I decided to give another place a try then my usual, I get a gel manicure. let me first say her technique for putting the gel on was great I didn't have any bubbles and for a translucent color normally brush strokes can be seen, so that was great! Now for the bad. I felt so unwelcome is just the start. Secondly, I asked the lady for oval shape nails, they look more nature to me. She gave me squarish oval and filed them down so short. I would have rather her not filed at all. I was so proud of the length they were and only needed the edges smoothed out. I have hardly any free edge now. So in all the actual polish looks great. But doesn't do much justice with the short misshaped nails. At that for $27! $10 for a manicure and $17 more for gel! Sticking to me usual place! That's what I get for trying something new. I can get the same thing for $20! And then have money to give them a generous tip! read more

So I came back to this place after I've spoken to Julie the manager , I decided to give it another shot since it did have good reviews . So I call and give them a head up about me coming in to get my full set and I told them about how I spoke with Julie on here and so I go in there and they do an awesome job on them this time I will not lie . Any ways I get up to go pay her a tip and the girl who did my nails wanted to charge me 45 dollars which I was so confused because Julie said she would take care of them and I also have the screen shots of her saying she would . I guess it was a big misunderstanding but that's not my fault the communication was broken she should of told me and I talk to Julie's mom who was in there and she was getting so loud with me in front of all these customers saying she didn't understand why I was trying to get a free full set so I show her the message and she was still confused asking why I would come back so late in the year to do it and like I said she was very rude and unprofessional. So she called Julie and I spoke with her on the phone and all of a sudden she didn't recall saying she would do my nails and at that point I was so annoyed and I just wanted to get out of there so I agreed to pay 33 dollars . And as I go pay the 33 dollars Julie's mom was sitting there talking loudly to the other girls in their language about how I'm trying to rip them off and saying I'm trying to get free work from January . So personally I will NEVER come back here due to the owners behavior . The girl who did my nails Paula was great but like I said I don't appreciate after the fact I still paid these women bashing me and my character in front of other customers . Your customer service skills are horrible and next time be more clear with the customer before they come in with an expectation that was failed to meet . And clearly as you see the owner can't accept the fact she's wrong and miscommunication is horrible . Acting as if I'm looking for free nails when clearly she said go ahead and come in I will make things right . So don't stand for one thing and change your entire story . The staff rushed through every service like they had better things to do, so the massages that are supposed to come with a mani/pedi were half-assed.
