I decided to write a review today for 2 reasons: 1. I saw Lauren for the first time and she was wonderful. Not only did she squeeze me in for eyebrows after my bikini wax (didn't book that service) she gave me great advice re: eyebrow products to help them grow, help shape them, and even applied some color on after and they looked great. We talked fashion, body image stuff, etc and my wax session went by super fast - barely noticed it! 2. The young front desk lady (hadn't met her before) offered me a star sticker saying "do you want a sticker since you're out of this world?" explaining that kids get stickers for going to the dentist and I just went through much worse. Very cute. hey, adults are just grown kids - we all want a gold star!

Nonetheless I left confident that I would look good for the upcoming event fast forward to the next day( day of event) and I'm having to rush back in to get a repair. Only after I refused to pay the fee stating per protocol that my lash was covered was the manager contacted. My lash was replaced. Less than 24 hours after the replacement my lash was lifting again. The owner was contacted and rudely stopped responding when asked to rectify the situation caused by faulty service given in her location.

The other "esthetician" kept rudely interrupting telling me the same as well, I felt so awful about myself and agreed, and that is where it horribly went wrong!! I kept telling the "esthetician" the wax was too hot, she said no it isn't, but it was literally dripping off the stick. I noticed she kept using the same stick and kept putting it into the same wax pot that was used for everyone else. I told her it is not hygienic and she told me I was crazy and did not know anything and to mind my own business. I was appalled!!! This is a place that also does bikini waxes!!! If they are comfortable to being that unhygienic with wax for your face, I can only imaging what they do with the wax used for bikini hair removal. Save your skin from being ripped off your face and go somewhere that knows what they are doing.

Also, the employees are very friendly and patient with wincing and whining. My face muscles are palsied so it is very difficult to get them even- somehow they still manage to be even every time. I am surprised there is a bad review here at all considering how great of an experience I usually have here. They do package deals like eyebrow plus lip for 15 dollars etc. so I think the prices are great. They are also very fast, and it's usually not too long of a wait for a chair even though they are often busy. I personally am going to keep coming here based on my great experience.

The employees are generally talking on the phone as they do your eyebrows which does not bother me much. The vibe is more laid back.

I have brows that generally are very low and thick to my eyelids so I feel like I look angry when they're not thinned out a bit, so thinner brows work for me.
