As soon as I walked into Julie's suite, she was very welcoming and so friendly. Immediately put me at ease. I truly enjoyed my facial and look forward to going back. She's been in this studio for nine years and therefore has a lot of skincare knowledge. I showed up to my first appointment with a bag full of the products I use. Julie immediately commented that she wasn't thrilled with my moisturizer and that I could be doing better. I instantly knew I'd trust her based on that comment alone. I love someone who can tell me like it is. Cheers to improving. Julie's studio is tucked in the Carmel Office Suites off of Carmel Drive and Keystone. It's located behind the McDonald's on that corner and is a big building that serves as a beauty haven. There are about a hundred different little beauty studios within this building and it's a fun, girly spot to visit. Julie's studio is on the second floor and was spotless, fresh and beautiful. She has one facial studio and one microblading studio - both next to each other. She uses Skinceutical products (which if you're not familiar, are highly-recommended and effective products). I've heard the brand mentioned multiple times from all the celebrity estheticians I follow on Instagram and had been wanting to try them. Julie kept my facial simple by washing it, doing extractions, using a steam machine, using this awesome light tool that zaps bacteria on your face, this awesome gel moisturizer that she said would hydrate my skin much better than my current moisturizer, retinol she had recommended for me (it was an evening appointment so she got my face "ready for bed" - yay!), and more. She also sent me home with a few Skinceutical samples that I'm excited to try. Super excited to go back and use the new products she's recommended for me. If you've never gotten a facial before, I HIGHLY recommend going at least once, because the products you might be using in your daily life could be worsening your skin without you realizing it. When you go, you'll at least know which products will keep longevity in your skin and you can't put a price on that targeted advice, specific and personalized to your skin type.

Everyone reading this needs to come visit Melissa at Uesthetics at least once. She's a skin master…read moreand I feel so thankful to finally have someone like her in Indy. Even if you aren't a regular facial-type-of-person, you should come to get set on a good at-home product routine that fits your skin type. Melissa can help with that. She has years of experience being an esthetician and worked at a dermatologist office for a long time. She therefore knows skin all the way through, and not just topically. She's also traveled across the country teaching others how to use lasers. I truly appreciated soaking in knowledge from her throughout our appointment and asking all of my skincare questions. The brands she uses for facials and recommends to clients are the same ones that both my dermatologist and a desired celeb esthetician that I've followed for years uses on all of the stars. This is what initially drew me to Uesthetics because those are really the only type of products I want on my face. I knew that anything from these lines would be amazing on my skin and was excited to be able to get such a quality facial. She uses iS Clinical, Elta MD, Alastin (all scientifically recommended and very effective). I had a free, 30-minute virtual consultation beforehand so Melissa could walk me through a good routine for my skin and see how she could help. (Initial consultations are always free!). She didn't try to sell a single thing and it was SO helpful because I found out that I was using some products that weren't doing anything for my skin, which I've now dropped from my routine. Afterwards, I booked my first appointment and put in the form that I wasn't sure which facial to choose, but wanted her to recommend one once she saw my skin in person. We ended up doing microdermabrasion, which uses a suction to remove clogged pores, remove hair on your face and get rid of dead skin cells. It's exfoliating, which helps prevent acne, helps makeup go on easier, and makes your skin brighter. She then did a calming face mask to fill my skin with moisture and eliminate redness. My skin immediately looked brighter, plumper and felt tighter. It was $65 which was incredibly reasonable considering her expertise and the quality of products used, and she sent me on my way with some amazing skincare samples. Thank you so much! I'll be back!

Friendly and she did a great job. The chairs and water tub were very good too. I was walked back to the changing room and offered a robe and locker, which I accepted. The changing room is small considering how many lockers are in there. But it's serviceable and there is also a shower. There are two quiet areas, one would be nice if you came with a group of friends, but it allows you to have separation from others if desired. My only concern: Jessica is the only nail technician so there is no way to book a pedicure with a friend. There are also no nail services on Fridays or Saturdays. Seems an opportunity to me.

Listen I have been on the mission to find an esthetician that could totally gather my face. I have a combination skin of oily and dry, my T-zone gives me the blues. The rest of my face loves to taunt me by flaking and scaling and developing blackheads/whiteheads and just a real undesirable look. Let me tell you something about the owner Nicole, well let me not put her business out there because I don't want you all thinking that my favor could be a favor for you . Let's say Nicole is very accommodating, very professional and timely. When I intend on patronizing a company, my initial conversation/interaction with the individual is a determining factor of whether or not I will proceed forward with my appointment. I have had many encounters where I have simply not book based on my initial interaction and professionalism with the servicing individual. Nicole responded to me in a reasonable time, and though I did not realize that she had responded to me, she instantly continued her dialogue with me once I re-engaged. The appointment was actually for my children and I, we know that teens/puberty can create a mess of a face, and it has been over a year that I've had a lacklustre facialn myself. I remembered the last time that I took my son so this establishment, that they work wonders! I needed this experience for myself, and Nicole did not disappoint. This was by far the best facial that I've ever had! PERIOD ‼‼‼‼ I ABSOLUTELY MEAN THAT FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY . By the time I walk out of there, I promise you my face was 5 lb lighter, look at the before and after pictures from just this morning (before facial) and afternoon (after) . Now my children are little lighter in complexion, so it may appear that they have been battered and bruised, so I will update a before-and-after of them later . Mecca did an amazing job on my children. I had a chance to chat with her about what regimen they should be following based on their skin issues. We're on it! I just highly recommend this establishment, trust, you are in good hands. (Whispering) I have already gone on my calendar to remind me when my 6 weeks is approaching. This may or may not include the kids because it was so relaxing for me. Now this is a lil drive for me but.... I'm going‼ Thank you Nicole and Mecca‼
