I found the Lifestyle Spa because I have been following my skin guru, Kimberly Ross, for the past 10+ years. My mum connected me with Kimberly when I was 12 years old because I had a pretty bad unibrow- couldn't be walking around like that! I'm not going to lie, I have some great brows- they are full and thick and have a nice natural arch, so many people wanted to thin them out and make them something they structurally shouldn't look like. But not Kim! She really knows how to work with each individual and cater to what they want/need when it comes to alignment and shaping. I really don't know what I would do without Kim (probably still walking around with my unibrow or had someone ruin my thick, full brows). Kim also changed my world when it came to my skin. Kim has always gone above and beyond to make sure I feel confident and beautiful in my skin. She helped me understand the importance of taking care of my skin, the best products that work for me and shared best practices for taking care of my skin. I basically can't go without my regime she curated for me otherwise my skin starts to freak out. She knows my skin better than I do. She takes the time the time to understand the full picture; your diet, medications one takes, hormones, the sun & environment you surround yourself in and how it all plays a part in the appearance your skin. I've lived in London and Los Angeles and I can honestly say, there is NO ONE like Kim. Even being on the other side of the country, she has taken the time to make sure I have everything I need. One of the first things I do when I know I am making a trip back home to Indy, is scheduling an appointment with Kim. I now see another amazing massage therapist at Indy Massage Company named Matthew. He is pretty great, and I look forward to relaxing on his table each month at IMC. He is intuitive and firm yet incredibly gentle, and I'm able to just surrender and let him work his magic. I've mostly only booked Swedish massages with him, but one time I booked a longer session where he really worked out the muscles in my upper back and shoulders, which really needed attention. I had two massages at another spa in Indianapolis and still was in constant pain. A friend recommended this location and I'm so glad she did! I live in broadripple but had never come across this spa. I was able to schedule a sports massage for the following afternoon. I let the masseuse know about the pain I was experiencing and she made sure I was open to cupping which allows the blood to flow more to the area. I was open to anything as long as it provided relief. During the massage she could tell how the muscles in the right side of my back were swollen and apparently I was a little tight on the left as well. I felt instant relief after the massage and finally had a full nights sleep since the pain began. She worked wonders and this will now be my spa of choice! Looking forward to booking my next massage! They have a shared parking lot in front with at least four designated spots for their guests.
