I came to Ageless just for the Salt Room. I have breathing issues and I decided to try out the salt room since Ive heard great things. When my mom and I walked in Andrea greeted us as she finished with other customers. When it was our turn, we were taken to the back and offered our choice of robes (waffle or plush). We chose the plush ones and opted to keep our clothes on under them. When changed out of our shoes into the slippers and headed inside. The room is dim and full of salt....a great combo for a small nap. I did just that. My mom enjoyed taking off her slippers and running her feet through the salt on the ground. This was a really relaxing experience and I will be back soon. I went to this place ~1.5 years ago, one of the injectors (I will not mention) showed up 45 mins late to my appointment and gave me a black eye for three weeks following my injection. Beautiful medi-spa! I've done both the Salt Lounge and Eyelash extensions here...so far. Abra has done my lashes and I love them. I let her know I wear glasses so didn't want to go too long. Since this was my first time getting them I had plenty of questions. Abra answered all of them and quickly put me at ease. The lashes are synthetic as mink ones 1) are more likely to cause allergic reaction and 2) animal cruelty - hello? Make sure you come in without any eye makeup on. The full set took two hours, she is a perfectionist. Be sure to hit the bathroom before you start (remember - 2 hours!). Settle in, you'll be lying on a nice padded table, and there's always good music playing. Abra is very friendly and conversation is easy, but I could see some people might want to put in earbuds to zone out. Seems like that would be okay since you'll have to have your eyes closed the entire time. Once done you'll be amazed at the instant gratification of lovely long lashes! Abra will explain how to take the best care of them and then reschedule your fill. She suggests 2 weeks but you could push it to 3. The fill will take just 1 hour. Don't get them wet for 24 hours! Use oil-free makeup and remover. Don't use mascara on them, just on your bottom lashes - not waterproof though. I feel super sassy with such long lashes - you have to try them! Salt Lounge is wonderful - super relaxing and makes me feel like I'm doing something good for my body. The entire place feels very nice and high-end. Everyone is very helpful. Plenty of parking. There is construction behind the building, but it's not bothersome. They have an automated system that will automatically text you instead of leaving a message - it's very easy to use and I like it better than voicemail. read more

I'm not the type to leave someone a negative review but if I'm spending over $100, I would at least like to see results. I requested forehead, frown lines, and brow lift using 20 units. It was the quickest injections I've ever received...like less than ten seconds for the entire thing. Then when I got in the car I noticed that my frown lines were untouched. So I called and was instructed to come back in. I came back in only to be told that it was impossible to address all three areas with only 20 units and so she decided not to do my frown lines. I've never had this issue before. This is was never mentioned in our conversation prior to injecting me. So even then, I was disappointed but blamed myself. But this morning I woke up with zero change in my face whatsoever, still wrinkles on my forehead and droopy eyebrows. I am super disappointed and feel like I just threw $150 down the drain. The two stars are for the lovely receptionists at the front desk. Top notch! read more

SALT LOUNGE REVIEW: My Mom and I had a groupon for the Salt Lounge at Ageless. I have not had any other services done here, so the review is just for the salt lounge. Ageless is welcoming and comfortable inside. The employee working was friendly. We handed her our Groupons, got some comfy robes to wear, and headed in to the Salt Lounge for our 45 minute session. It's a small room with rocks on the ground, six recliners, dim lighting, baskets to store your personal items, and soft spa music. When you make a reservation, you have the entire room. My mom has gone before and had the whole room to herself. So with six chairs, you could grab five friends to take with you. A 'sprayer' starts letting salt out into the air. You will leave tasting like salt. It is a very relaxing experience. My mom and I actually fell asleep for part of it. I'm not sure what kind of benefits (if any) came from it, as I only went for one session. I also mostly went out of curiosity and a desire to relax, rather than for actual health concerns. However, my mom has a hard time breathing and she said one session helped her. If you check the website, it lists a lot of different benefits that they say the salt lounge has. She said she's looking into it as a natural alternative for expensive medicines. It's worth a shot to check out, even if it just gives you some peace and quiet! read more

She took extra time in explaining the procedure etc -- it was painless for the most part, until the last thread and gotta admit that was an ouchhhhh moment, but hopefully it will be worth it. When I saw an ad for Skin RN featuring their prices, I was definitely intrigued. Much lower than anyone else, even on their special event pricing. I figured I'd roll the dice and make an appointment for Shelley's visit to Waxing The City. Everything went well, except I had one runaway eyebrow! This prompted me to schedule a follow up with Shelley at her west side location. She added a few units to the stray eyebrow and one other area I wasn't in love with at no charge. We then chatted about some Of my other issues, she gave me some advice, we discussed some future options and off I went. So happy. My forehead is lovely, my crow's feet how flown the coop and I can't wait for the new laser Shelley is adding because I know she won't mince words or try to sell something I don't need just to get my money. She realizes honest business will get you return customers. What an amazing concept. More businesses should try it! Anyway, what are you waiting for? The longer you wait, the longer you have to wait for the affordable results! I had been seeing Ashley for several months and was happy with my services. I went for my monthly appointment and their micro-needle pen was not working, so Ashley suggested doing their "new" chemical peel for the same price. Stupidly, I agreed, not doing my research or truly understanding what I was getting myself into. I am a person of color and the results of the peel was horrible, I have scarring and darkened areas on my whole face that were previously clear. The worst part is I called and texted the staff several times, asking Ashley to call me, and sent pictures. The receptionist kept saying it was normal. I finally cancelled my membership and went to the dermatologist. It will take months, if not years to lighten the darkening of my skin and I am heartbroken. Horrible customer service and follow up, do your homework before agreeing to any sort of service. Disappointed to say the least in the follow up I received with this situation. She was always precisely on time, made me completely comfortable, answered my questions about the IPL and was so happy and friendly. The treatment was really effective! It tackled significant sun damage on my neck that I was self conscious about, made some capillaries in my cheeks disappear (a bonus I did not expect at all) and minimized my pores.
