Cute little shop
Caryn K.

I was introduced to this local shop by my family and it was the perfect breakfast stop! I wish I lived here, because I would be a regular at this place. I ordered the breakfast sammie with sausage, egg and sriracha mayo. It was delicious! The mayo is what really took this to the next level. The bread was light and fluffy. The shop itself had lots of snacks for purchase and regular grocery items. It was the perfect local convenience shop. I will make sure to come back here when I'm in town. The downside is it's small, so don't plan to eat inside or really here at all, but it's a walkable city, and there is plenty of places to walk around outside while enjoying your food/coffee.

Got the bacon egg avocado breakfast sandwich this morning. The bacon was barely cooked, which was gross, and I wound up picking it off. The sandwich was also really small (think McMuffin size lol) and wound up costing $9 plus tip with no side or chips. After ordering the mid sandwich I got handed this pamphlet on the way out. Really regret supporting this place that apparently steals tips from its service workers and busts union efforts. Will not be returning.

sadly the management will NOT deal with the rat problem their unenclosed refuse feeds. a giant hole or three disgorges rats everywhere over the patio terrace every night. Management has been asked to account for months of a tip jar and has not. They fired their truly caring senior staff who would nip this rat problem in the bud over labor rights issues. So: good people work here. With good high end products. But.

The front staff was extremely kind and accommodating to my family and I when we came, so I have to add a star for that. My rating is this low because the sausage in my sandwich was legitimately RAW on the inside. I ate about half of it before I noticed. I'm in Arlington visiting family and had to go on an airplane about 4 hours from when I had the sandwich. I was terrified of getting sick, my mom called and explained and the person who picked up the phone told her she was wrong, that it was fine and lots of people freak out about it. I've attached photos to show that it was in fact raw. I got sick to my stomach a few times in the next few hours. I'm ok now but waiting to see if I get food poisoning in the next 12-24 hours. Please consider going elsewhere if you're craving a sandwich. Update: I have food poisoning

My boyfriend and I stopped in as he lives a few blocks away. I found the prices to be (surprisingly) reasonable for sandwiches and salads. My boyfriend got the TAPs grilled cheese, which was more like a sandwich with melted cheese. It had a very tasty sauce that made it and the turkey portion was generous. I got a turkey goat cheese salad which was pretty solid. It normally comes with pickled onions but they let me swap that out for avocado! They also sell your basic staples- milk, snacks, frozen food, etc. Pro tip: this place is dog friendly! They have some out door seating and a dog bowl of water (and even some dog treats!) You can leave your dog leash on a hook right outside if you just need to run in quickly.

Roast beef sandwich...proper.

Everything here is delicious! The groceries are a bit on the expensive side, but are usually worth it. High recommended!

It took 3 mornings but I finally found a great little spot to grab breakfast on the run. Good coffee and a great egg sandwich.

The only thing better than the food are the people. Great coffee and food. Perfect corner store.

I have not had a sandwich here that I didn't enjoy. I find myself making excuses to be nearby so I can pick up another one.

Honestly, this was one of the best supermarkets I have been in for a while. One down side here is that it is located in a rather cramped space. The aisles are narrow and if you a claustrophobic, this might not be the spot for you. Even though it is a smaller space, they do have a wide variety of items to choose from. It was a nice experience and it was great to see that this is used by so many people. I only stopped in here one night to grab a few things and there were enough people in here to make it known it is a great asset in the area. I grabbed my items, made it to the front, had a small wait in line, but it was worth it. The employee that was working was super pleasant and definitely made it a better experience.

Mostly stocked with gourmet snacks and light lunches, there is also a to-go / delivery ($3 charge) menu to order different courses from the Presidents Sports Bar attached to the Renaissance Hotel. It's well stocked with random items like homemade cookies and box cookies to house salads and sandwiches ( and even cold desserts like tiramisu and mini bananas fosters. There is a candy bucket tree with single candies in the clear buckets. They have a small coffee bar with carafe coffee and teas. You can also buy fruit individually and croissants. They have a freezer stocked with gelato cups, ice cream bars, etc. The items are reasonably priced, but certain bagged items like those same cookies ( Mexican hot chocolate) that they sell at Dolcezza can run up to $6. It's definitely a must try for the late afternoon or late night snacker. They are open until Midnight.

Talking to the friendly clerk, it sounded like the market gets quite busy during lunch time. I didn't try any of the food, but it looked pretty good. They also carry some local chocolates - I did try the wine truffles which the clerk recommended. They were $6 for four individually wrapped treats. The truffles satisfied my craving for sweets perfectly and I thought were reasonably priced. I would come back here if I were looking for a convenient snack and it were too miserable too go outside. The service was good here, but I'm taking off a star because the prices are not clearly marked and I had to ask about quite a few items.
