I got one of the freshly made paninis - the Prosciutto Mozzarella Arugula Tomato and Pesto. While waiting for the order, I walked around the shop, a great option for shopping for a party or night-in or grabbing snack. The wine collection is small, but diverse. Big plus for a lot of Asian brands, too. The warm panini made it the 20-minute walk home warm and still fresh. The ingredients complimented each other well - think the strong flavor of the sun-dried tomato with the mozzarella and prosciutto. Really great option for lunch if you are in Georgetown and want to try something off M St. or Wisconsin!

I lived here for over a year before I walked in to make a purchase (green onion) and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of goods that you may find inside. I saw there is a deli in the back, a big liquor/wine section, and there are actually some great values especially on Asian produce and goods. They have a wide selection of different condiments and sauces that are fairly priced (i.e. soy sauce or rice vinegar). I was surprised to find a small box of bok choi for only 99 cents one day! Depending on what you need, though, you may have to pay a high premium. Also, the service is great -- they are all very friendly in the store. There is a $5 minimum for credit card payments but last week I bought heavy cream which was $4 and some change (expensive!! but hey, time is money) and the cashier allowed me to charge it since I had no cash on me.

I've been in a few times to get snacks when visiting a friend who lives nearby, and they make it easy to piece a snack / light dinner together. They have some ready-to-go items like salads and such, plus fancy crackers, dips, nuts and dried fruits, and the like. They have a nice selection of specialty drinks as well - I especially liked the NA and adaptogen drink options. I got chicken salad, crackers, a chocolate mousse, candied ginger and a cheese stick. Ran me ~$30 - pricey but I snacked on the stuff throughout the weekend. Service is counter here - friendly and they were doing an Aplos sampling while we were in. Our children had received a catered meal as a gift after the birth of the child and thought Passover would be a good time to give them a try for our Seder. As many of us were visiting from out of town l, our children ordered all of the food for our family's Passover Seder from Each Peach Market this year instead of cooking The menu included: Sliced brisket, Matzo ball soup, Mini potato & leek kugels, Roasted baby carrots with dill, Provençal charoset, Green salad with herbs, fennel and horseradish, and 8" Flourless chocolate almond cake. The brisket, a little on the fatty side, was very flavorful as were the roasted carrots and Matzo ball soup. The kugels and charoset were both different from what I've experienced in the past as standard Pesach fare but were also tasty. I was, however, a little disappointed with the service. The meal had been ordered about a week in advance with the promise of a noon pickup availability on the day of Passover. It was, in fact, not ready for pickup until nearly 2 pm. This added unnecessary stress to an already tight schedule.
