I've noticed some other reviews are essentially left-wing screeds against this publication. Because…read morethe Washington Examiner isn't To-The-Left such as The New York Times (which is not what it used to be), or the Washington Post (where, thanks to Bezos, Democracy Has Already Died In Darkness), it must be bad. Sorry, that's not how it goes. Like most papers The Washington Examiner is compprised of a) news items and b) opinion pieces. The opinion pieces are more Conservative (What, you wanted more CNN?) but not fanboy level. The news articles themselves state the who/what/when/where/why relatively straightforward... which is what textbook-definition JOURNALISM is supposed to be about. Seriously, the negative reviews by those who have a partisan bent aren't a good barometer of the paper's worth. The reality is most forms of media today have some slant, the question is whether that slant is to the extent that they'll a) regularly omit inconvenient truths, b) write misleading headlines (and then bury the lede contradicting that headline, etc.) and so on. I tend to get my news from multiple sources because too many so-called MSM sources tend to decide the truth for the reader without providing all the facts. Considering how wrong the MSM/ Press has been in the past 5+ years, determining the narrative ahead of the facts, it behooves you to find news sources which at least give you enough background on a subject so you can tell whether it's opinion-disguised-as-news, a false narrative being pushed (by whom, you'll have to figure that out yourself), or something that appears factually grounded. Enough with the cognitive dissonance and being manipulated.

I met my cousin for dinner and we spent time before and after exploring the shelf's. Loved the layout and intimate vibe. Everything seems well organized and it all made sense to me and sections were clearly labeled. I enjoyed the bookstore so much I couldn't leave without grabbing at least one book.

I am SO in. We stopped in bc my husband's last name is Kramer and it's spelled the exact same and I saw the brunch/breakfast options and wanted to eat here. We loved it. Tried the avocado toast, brioche French toast and a smash burger and everything was delicious. Service was good, food was out quickly, portions were huge, all A+++. Enjoyed shopping after and will 100% come back. They are very active on Instagram and usually have seasonal specials and neat events.

We were looking for frankincense & hookah items & from the moment we walked in the door, the less than tall & less than slim employee was just rude. Not that this little "news stand" was packed with the hustle & bustle of customers (only 4 in addition to us), so not sure why the attitude. However, the crew wanted some items & since in the area, so here we are. & the guy had the audacity to snatch the items out of my relative's hands & walk it to the counter as if we were thieves The store has a great inventory of almost you can imagine from that a news stand, smoke shop, paraphernalia & homeland keepsakes, unfortunately the horrible customer negates the massive items.
