A part of my daily news cycle, but the Sunday edition is my fave. Will absolutely continue to read…read morethe heralded Post. Though I prefer a hard copy edition, it's okay to settle for the digital. And while the coveted A section is where I spend most of my time, Sunday's Arts & Style offer pleasant insight not seen elsewhere. Like today's article on E4, about how the children's demographic has been great for the challenged theater industry. Despite receiving other newspapers and magazines considered among the world's prime reads, the WaPo is a perspective I really look forward to. Current. Informative. Appreciated.

The Washington Post news is very similar to The New York Times for format with various sections as I believe this news media copied as a catalyst. I highly prefer The New York Times for paid subscription. The Washington Post is a leading daily newspaper that serves the tri-state, metropolitan area of Washington, DC, parts of Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia based in Washington, DC. I like to be informed for situational awareness of headline news outside of my hometown and home state. Breaking news!! The Washington Post refused a U.S. Presidential endorsement 2024 from the editorial section in contrast to the tradition of past history beliefs... but no comment from little o' me.

I love every time I read it! I feel Where magazine is very useful, helpful and very informative since most of the time I travel by my self. And every time I go places, I make sure to get my Where Magazine, to full fill my curiosity and to enrich my travel experience to know the cool things about the city I visit, get an idea for fun things to do and all the hot spot! Just like most of you, I want to make my visit as a great experience and memorable fun moment to remember! Most of the hotels provide this magazine for their guest that stay in the hotels. Excellent city guide throughout the country, which cover more than 40 cities in United States! They even spread their wings to Asia and Europe, such as Hongkong, Singapore, London and Paris! UPDATE (8/13/2007): James Wood will be leaving The New Republic to join the quaint retirement…read morecommunity otherwise known as The New Yorker. TNR stock takes a precipitous fall. ----- The production values of TNR have gone up now that they publish every two weeks (as opposed to every week), although I can't discern any difference in the paper stock. Franklin Foer (yes, his brother is you know who) has done a good job as Editor-in-Chief. The articles, as promised, are longer and more involved. It remains to be seen whether he can maintain this for the duration of his tenure. Which, in TNR terms, is usually sixteen months. I don't necessarily agree with their politics (and it is first and foremost a political mag). I read it because bien-pensant and Harvard Professor of the Practice of Literary Criticism (which is, like, THE most pretentious academic title ever) James Wood (not Woods) will drop in from time to time and lob a curt, venomous, and always fascinating review of a current book. I appreciate his acerbity regarding the sacred cows of our era (Rushdie, Pynchon, Roth...they have all incurred his wrath), and respect his almost Arnoldian dedication to questions of belief, morality, and style in our impoverished era. Plus this is where Helen Vendler -- a great poetry critic and a sweet, unassuming grand dame -- tore into the posthumous Elizabeth Bishop collection "Edgar Allan Poe and the Jukebox," which accomplished the rare feat of bitchslapping not one but TWO eminences grises of the poetry world: Liz Bishop and editor Alice Quinn (Poetry Editor of The New Yorker).
