At that event, I was a little bummed when there was a mix-up with my order. I had ordered an iced ube latte, but they ended up giving me a Mount Milo drink instead. Fast forward to now and I'm so happy that I'm back. It is Filipino American History Month and visiting this October made for the perfect time. This time I finally got to finally try a drink with ube! I This time, I went with their Halo Halo Latte. Their Halo Halo Latte is essentially Teofilo's coffee inspired take on the classic Halo Halo Filipino dessert. It features a strong Filipino coffee base with red bean, ube and ube cream! Wow! So masarap! I loved how the different flavors came together to capture that Halo Halo taste, with a delicious ube touch that made my drink extra special. It was sweet, creamy, and packed with Filipino inspired flavors. The one thing that I would have preferred was for it to be a little hotter. I ordered it hot, but it arrived more on the lukewarm side. It would have been even better served hot for the morning. That said, it was still a solid and an enjoyable drink overall. It was a bit on the pricey side, coming out to $8.84 with tax and close to $10 with tip. Nevertheless, it was definitely a treat! I like the atmosphere and space a lot. It has a very nice decor. Artwork, pictures and murals with history displayed along the walls. Grab and cold drinks available for purchase. Nice music playing that wasn't too loud but just right to complement a chill coffee shop vibe. "A" was friendly and patient as shared with her this was my first visit. As I browsed thru the coffee menu before making my selection I noticed more costumes coming in. I ordered a medium sized Americano which is $3.75 but I requested to add some hazelnut creamer as well as some almond milk which totaled out to $4.75 which was quite exceptional to me. Giving the location, the quality of service and the quality of the coffee. Not to mention to overall experience. I even thru in a $1 tip. I support the business and love the space.
