Everything was fine until I was going to pay, & i discovered that the server charged me for a tab that wasn't mine and once it was corrected, they still charged me for a drink that I didn't order. When i pointed that out then when they told me I needed to be patient. I will not be returning to this establishment. Which Is too bad because they have a great menu & patio. My NA drink had house grenadine that I was skeptical of in theory, but I trusted our server who promised it was not the sickeningly sweet stuff I was imagining. I am glad I trusted him- combining the grenadine with pineapple and lime too made it amazing. The fries were under-salted but the drinks, service, and atmosphere made up for it.

I called ahead…read moreto make sure they were open late, and when I arrived just before midnight, they were still serving drinks and didn't close until around 1:00 a.m. The service was decent, especially considering there was only one bartender working. There were fewer than 20 people inside, and it had a true hole-in-the-wall neighborhood bar vibe that seemed popular with locals. It was the closest bar to the airport that I could find open that late, which made it a convenient stop during my layover. Unfortunately, they didn't serve food, so I ended up heading back to the airport and buying something from the vending machines after going through security. Overall, it's a good option if you're looking for a late-night drink near the airport, just don't expect a food menu. I gave it 3 stars only because no late night food and wasn't really busy. Also, side note: I was sitting at the bar, but there was a table behind me with a group of people in their 20s who were really loud and annoying.

It's become a go-to place for family time, whether we're celebrating something special or just enjoying a meal together. The staff is always friendly, the service is reliable, and the menu has something for everyone. It's nice to have a place that feels familiar and continues to be part of our family traditions.

Unfortunately, this experience was completely different. We started with the Firecracker Shrimp, but the shrimp tasted as though it had been frozen for a long time, stale and not fresh. The sauce barely coated the shrimp, which was served on a bed of lettuce. For my entrée, I ordered the lunch special with a half salad and half Southwest Chicken Wrap. The chicken was plain white chicken with absolutely no seasoning or flavor. The wrap appeared to contain chicken, pepper jack cheese, and a tortilla, but nothing about it tasted good. My husband ordered the Salmon BLT, and his salmon was also unseasoned and lacked flavor. Overall, the entire meal was extremely disappointing. Based on our experience, I would not recommend the Houlihan's in Eagan.

Service was friendly but a little slow with it being so busy, and it was loud inside. The smoked wings were awesome and one of the best bites -- they're served uncut and the bacon bourbon glaze was incredible. The walleye fingers were on the smaller side and tasted standard. The wedge salad was a little sad and could have used more toppings for the portion of lettuce. The bacon bourbon burger could've used more seasoning in the patty, but the sauce was flavorful. The fries are like Five Guys style and could use a little more salt.

On a Sunday night we got the added bonus of Happy Hour drinks and (all day) and $3 off all appetizers. We started with the cheese curds, Walleye fingers, fried pickles, and the free popcorn which was surprisingly some of the best I've ever had! Freshly made with coconut oil, it was light, crunchy and perfectly salted! All the fried foods including the gigantic onion rings were battered thin and crispy. Our server Ashley, was super, friendly, helpful, efficient, and accommodating! We were able to do family style so we could all try everything. The turkey and wild rice soup was thick and creamy. The pan fried walleye was a nice white, moist fish. Our choice of side was the sweet potato waffle fries which exceeded my expectations. We finally got to try a "juicy Lucy" (Juicy Lulu here) which was American cheese oozing between two thin beef patties served in a big soft bun. Everything was great including the prices here with short beers for only $3! 4.5 stars for food. 5 stars for service and gener portions. Thank you for fulfilling our Minnesota experience!

We were also able to bring our dog thanks to the patio, they have a nice setup with a decorative fireplace and fountain. I would like to try more things there but honestly it will be hard to not get that wrap again. The place is like a Zupas or Chipotle in that you order and then they build your food in front of you. The menu is fairly limited in that you can order a wrap, a salad or a pasta bowl, but I don't mind not having a thousand choices to pick from. The workers were efficient at their jobs. The proportion of steak to arugula to corn was good-it didn't feel too heavy on the cheap ingredients and too sparse on the steak. It was a gorgeous day so we ate on the patio. I look forward to going back and trying more foods off their menu.
