Sour beer from the self pour wall.

Atmosphere was chill. Wall of beer had a good selection. The staff at the bar was attentive and the servers were not pushy.

Meh! Really sums up our experience. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon because this place was one of our stops for a free pint of beer in our Pub Pass. Decided to try some of their food which wasn't the best decision on our end. The cheese curds were quite literally floating in grease and most of the cheese had seeped out of the breading. The pickle fries were good, but the batter lacked flavor. Thankfully they were served with season sour cream which was quite spicy! All in all, we don't feel the need to return. The staff seemed as if they were new in training, which was fine, but made things a little awkward for us first time guests.

Buffalo grilled chicken wrap w a few waffle fries

First time visit, wasn't sure what to expect. We walk in and see the "seat yourself" sign. Grab a table and then realize there is no server coming to take our order. Food ordered at the window (onion ring appetizer, grilled chicken wrap and a burger.) :::::::45 minutes pass:::::: I walk to the window to inquire about our food. I'm told a bunch of orders came in and they got slammed that food should be out shortly (strange because there are only about 3-4 yellow table cards in the restaurant with pending orders at this time.) Unapologetic and kind of rude, this interaction (tall guy in a baseball hat who seemed too busy flirting with staff) really rubbed me the wrong way. Food came out, room temp. Onion rings were warm, not hot. Grilled chicken wrap was room temp, not hot, and served with a handful of waffle fries. Note: all food was not served at the same time. Finally the burger comes out, about an hour after we ordered. Burger was warm didn't seem freshly prepared. Weird. Bar (drinks) is self service also. I ordered a glass of Sauvy B, came to $12 and change for the glass. Water is available at the bar with carafes and cups to help yourself. Unfortunately, after pouring a glass of water we found a hair (long blonde) stuck inside the carafe. When I handed it to a server passing by (also blonde) she looked at it until I pointed out the hair and she replied "oh, weird", then walked away. Several beers on tap, tables of all sizes to accommodate small and large groups. Private room in the back had musicians headed that way (guitars) so I'm assuming they hold private events. Plenty of parking, seating was easy to find, they were about half full. So much potential but based on the self service and overall employee interactions this was a one and done. Too many other breweries in the area to spend money on a less than mediocre experience.

We came here for 7:00 trivia on a Thursday and arrived at 6:40, and it was super busy. We did find a spot at the bar though!! Beer on tap is serve yourself, I will say don't pour the tap too slow other wise it will be all foam, pull the lever all the way out for a good beer pour! You get a card that is valid for pretty much everything, tap beer, bar drinks and food. If you are sitting at the bar, you can order food there, but anywhere else you have to go to the food ordering station. It is pretty loud, but that is to be expected. Honestly, the food was amazing. The chicken sandwich was the best I have ever had, the chicken was grilled to perfection. The wrap was amazing too, the chicken was marinated in bourbon siracha and it was perfect with the bacon and ranch. Over all great experience!

Stop 1 of our 2024 Hundreds of Hops Tour did not disappoint. We came in as a party of 2, fresh off the plane & were admittedly lost on entry. The lovely lady working the bar gave us the rundown. Red print is house made & those are the passport beers. Nice & Simple. I ordered a fruited sour and the hubs got an IPA. I'm not a big IPA fan & didn't care for his , tho that was to be expected. He, however, did give it good reviews. As for my sour, it didn't have the expected effect of the tastebuds but did hit on the nose. If you're looking for tart or tang, you may be disappointed- still, the flavor was good and it oddly wasn't sweet either. We ordered pretzel bites as well and they came out fast and HOT - they fry them, giving a nice crispy outer with a tender inner, no salt & a side of cheese sauce. We spent about $18, using the hops passport. Not bad IMO. We didn't try the self-pour wall. The popular permanent "food truck" order spot is still a concept I love, as it allows ordering without clogging up the bar. Menus were available. The vibe was relaxed & family friendly. I'd definitely visit again but I don't think it stood out enough that I'd make a special trip for it.

Another stop at Union 32 to use our pubpass. We stopped here after a MN Aurora Women's soccer game at TCO stadium which is very close. The game was super hot so we opted for a table inside in the air conditioning. Their nice patio was very busy but inside was roomy. They have a decent sized menu of basically bar food. You order at an inside counter and your order is brought to your table. I had a CA burger which was good, and switched out fries for tots. While the usual way to get beer is to get a card and pour your own, our pub passes gave us one pint which we picked up from the bar. Beer was cold and delicious on a hot afternoon.

Fun place to spend time with friends and family! They are a sept pour brewery with more than 30 options. You g we a card to track how many oz you've poured. They have a window to order food and it comes right out to your table. The service is so friendly and they helped us when we got confused about the sept pour The dad has the pub pass for MSP and they have a page in the book! So he got a free beer and I got a flight! Super fun place! Free popcorn too!! Outdoor and indoor seating for big and small groups

This is my third time at Union32. The service is pretty much cafeteria style as you serve yourself. If you want beer, you go to the bar and they provide a "pour" card that charges the card you provide. There's a separate area to place food orders. I'm not one who would ever promote a wrap, but honestly, the dang Lloyd wrap keeps me up at night. Try it with bourbon sriracha chicken. It's finger lickin' good. Their sweet potato waffle fries are worth mentioning too. They are crispy and made to order. We love getting the cheese curds as well. Thin breading and always hot. If you're making the trip to Costco, you mind as well stop for some lunch.

Another pub pass visit! This stop took me deep into the 'burbs of Eagan, at Union 32 Craft House. Union 32 is a casual style brewery with seat yourself tables and an indoor food truck. They also have a tap wall of pay per ounce beers. Today I got the House Mango Coconut Sour, which was awesome. It was refreshing and very mango forward, perfect for someone who doesn't love beer but is trying to get into it (me haha) best of all, this place has free popcorn. Union 32 is also clearly very family friendly, with tons of families here today as their parents drink beer and the kids munch on kids meals.

Fun spot for craft beers, cocktails and snacks- perfect for Happy Hours! I loved the beer wall and you also have the option of creating your own beer flight. The day I went i got a pickle beer (which was super yummy) Grainbelt Blue, some pina colada beer, and a maple beer of some sort. Some beers are brewed in house, and others are brewed by other local vendors. Food wise, there is a good selection. Nachos are large, cheese curds are good (although I wasn't a fan of the chipotle sauce) and brussel sprouts were flavorful (although a lil under done). There's sports on the TV, pull tabs, and, I believe, a couple arcade games (if I am remembering correctly). At first, it was a little confusing where to start, but if you go up to the bar, you can order a cocktail or load a card for the beer wall. Food can be ordered at the bar or in the back area.

This is such a cute little find! A friend had been suggesting this place for a while and we finally made it over - it was good! They have a bar in the middle of the restaurant but also offer the pour your own beer section which is always a hit with our group. Especially because we have some picky beer drinkers and like to try a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Food was good and service was good. We will certainly be back to try happy hour again soon!

First off, going through the hidden Coke machine entrance is actually really fun and makes the whole place feel like a little adventure. The decor and speakeasy atmosphere are definitely the standout. Very cool space. VERY loud though. Like "lean across the table and say WHAT?" loud at times. The waitress was super nice and recommended a mocktail for me that called Ass in the Sand. It ended up being really good. It tasted like an elevated lemonade and was probably one of my favorite parts of the meal. Started with the rolls and whipped honey butter which were delicious. Very soft, warm, and honestly dangerous because I could've just kept eating bread all night. For the main meal, I did the Wagyu Burger with Parmesan fries. The burger itself was okay but surprisingly didn't have a ton of flavor outside of the grilled/charred taste. The Parmesan fries were actually the standout for me -- hand cut fries and parmesan fries are just hard to mess up. My partner tried the Mushroom Soup en Croute and wasn't a fan because the mushrooms were blended and he said it lacked flavor. He also had a Steak Taco special using their medallion steak and said even with lime it still needed more flavor. Finished with Crème Brûlée which is always a classic favorite for me and this one was good. Overall: fun experience, cool hidden entrance, great decor, good mocktail and bread, but the actual food menu is pretty limited and the flavors didn't totally wow me for the price. Glad I went and finally crossed it off my list, but probably a one-and-done visit for me.

My first thought was holy bottles! There's tons and tons of bottles up and down the walls. The space is also smaller than expected, but we went in at 3PM as a party of 4 on a Sunday and had no problem getting seated. I ordered the Lost Footage and it was delicious (and strong!!). It came in a flask inside of a VHS case which was fun. I then got to pour it into my glass. Other members of my group got The Red Wedding, Pity Party, and To Your Health. My spouse and I shared the strip steak and the wedge salad, which we enjoyed. I would like to see some more food options in the future, especially since I'm already pretty limited due to a gluten allergy. However, I am excited to come back.

The bar was nearly empty, there were maybe 5 people in the bar/restaurant when we arrived. I don't think it was slow on the bartenders part as much as it was our server. A couple Guinness, a black and tan and a hot cider later, we waited to order food. While eating we decided we didn't want to wait any longer for our server so we went to the bar to ask for waters, our drinks long gone at this point. We also got up to get our own ketchup. Burger was fine but mostly flavorless. Cottage pie was fine, had I not been starving I likely wouldn't have eaten as much as I did. The food was just OK, nothing memorable or spectacular about it. Prices were pretty high for what it was, $17 for a cheeseburger is pretty outrageous, cottage pie in a ramekin was $18. Server wasn't very friendly, or was just in a bad mood that day. She spent a lot of time in the back (this was between major meal times, around 3:30-4) so she didn't seem super engaged or have much desire to be out on the floor. 3% surcharge for credit card

The restaurant has a bar-and-grill atmosphere, which makes sense given the brewery focus. It felt lively but still comfortable for a holiday dinner, and the menu offered several appealing choices both for the special and on the regular menu. We started with shrimp, which was cooked properly and had a good texture--firm and enjoyable without any rubbery or off-putting qualities. The French onion soup was a comforting course and fit the meal well. For the main, I ordered the burger, which was solid and satisfying. While not flashy, it was well prepared and enjoyable. A standout side was the sweet potato fries, which were exceptionally crisp with just the right amount of salt--easily some of the best I've had in a while. The dessert rounded out the meal nicely and completed the four-course experience. Nothing during the meal disappointed me; everything we had was good and well executed. Service was pleasant and professional. Our server was friendly and attentive, though the kitchen timing was a bit slow. We did notice that a few tables seated after us received their food sooner, but it wasn't enough to detract significantly from the overall experience. At $69 for a four-course Valentine's Day meal, the special felt like a good deal, offering variety and solid quality without feeling overpriced. Overall, Granite City delivered a comfortable, enjoyable holiday dinner with reliable food and good value.
