I think they needed more heat in the hot honey. it was a good idea but could have used something else on top of them too. wings: soy garlic. these are a must get. the wings were cookend and fried perfectly. they are heavy in the soy (salt) flavor profile, in fact i think they should drizzle some honey on top. we loved these they were cripsy, but had a juicy center. arepas: my date got 2 of these and loved them. theyre incredibly filling and can be split up for another snack later. crudo tacos: these come in 3 and i really enjoyed them. these arent filling, so have all 3 of them to yourself. looking forward to coming back, this place is always a gem.

It was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, though the burger itself was very thick (more round than patty) and could have used a pinch more seasoning. Do not waste your time or money here…read more My friends and I visited for the first time last Saturday, and unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. Our waiter was friendly at first, but his attitude changed completely after checking our IDs. What made this even more confusing was that we noticed other groups being seated without having their IDs checked. Everyone in our group had their ID except for one friend's boyfriend, who realized he had accidentally left his at her apartment just a 7-minute walk away. He is 33 years old, clearly looks his age, and immediately ran back to retrieve it. The waiter initially said he simply wouldn't be served alcohol until he returned with his ID, which we completely understood and respected. However, once he left, the service became noticeably worse. We weren't even served water while we waited. When I asked if the rest of us--who had all presented valid IDs--could at least order our drinks, the waiter refused, saying he didn't know the boyfriend's age. That explanation didn't make sense, as restaurants routinely serve alcohol to guests who present valid identification regardless of whether someone else at the table is underage or not. The waiter also imposed an arbitrary five-minute deadline for him to return, even though my friend was on the phone with him and explained he needed about six minutes to run back. He returned only moments later with his valid ID. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, the waiter and bartender greeted him with profanity, including telling him "just in time, skinny d***" along with another inappropriate comment I won't repeat here. There was absolutely no reason for staff to speak to a customer that way. At that point, we were all uncomfortable and decided to leave. The only interesting aspect of this place is that it's located inside a former bank. Beyond that, we didn't find the atmosphere to have much of an authentic Chinese feel, and the drink menu also lacked the authentic Chinese beverages we were expecting.
