    Antique Bread Pudding.
    Cindy Z.

I heard all about the famous bread pudding at Antique Bar & Bakery, but reservations were booked and I also knew we wouldn't be able to finish the huge portion served there. I was happy to realize that they have this other location, Antique at 112 with a diner vibe. The best part is that they offer a small version of the Bread Pudding for $11, which is perfect for two people. If you're with 4 or more, I'd go for the larger one though. We came here only for the bread pudding. The service was quick, but it wasn't busy at all. It was nice to sit outdoors too. The bread pudding is soft and crispy. The sauce was a bit too sweet and the inside was gooey. While I did enjoy the bread pudding, I didn't think it's something I'd go out of my way for though.

What a lovely place this is! My daughter and I had lunch here on a Saturday. We sat indoors because the weather was iffy, but there is a lovely patio in the back. We started with the Antique Mini Bread Pudding (at my daughter's insistence). I'm not a bread pudding fan; however, this one made me a convert! It was delicious and I do recommend trying it. For lunch, I had the chicken salad toast. It reminded me of the chicken salad my mother made- lots of grapes, apples and walnuts. Wonderful! My daughter had the 112 Smash burger. She enjoyed it thoroughly. Would love to return to try other items!

Stopped by for a casual dinner on a weeknight with my friend. There was one employee waiting on tables / taking orders / manning the cashier and then a few cooks/dishwashers. It was cold and blustery that night, however, they had the front door and back patio door wide open. I'm guessing they have a temperature problem and that it gets too hot inside there otherwise. We picked a high top table in the center of the restaurant, across from the large cooktop where it felt the most warm / least drafty. To our detriment, we reeked of fried food/frying oil after leaving our meal. They are BYO so we brought a bottle of wine. We wanted to get the mac & cheese balls to start however they weren't available that night. Instead, we shared the Caesar salad to start. Basic salad, generously dressed and chopped well - no complaints. For entrees, I got the birria cheesesteak and my friend got a pasta dish. The cheesesteak was pretty messy, just OK flavor. Ended up taking home half. My friend enjoyed her pasta. I would come back here again for a casual meal when the weather is nicer so I can sit outside in the back garden. Please note the menu online is different than the menu we received at the venue. I would have liked the short rib grilled cheese for my dish but it wasn't on the menu when we got there.

I was very excited to go to Antique at 112 for what was advertised as a Game Night. While there were games there, the selection was not robust. I expected a combination of old and new games that would keep my friends and I entertained while drinking/ eating, which was not the case. There was connect four, dominos and 2 other games. In addition to that, while the waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu, the service was pretty slow. It took a while to get our plates cleared for both apps and entrees and took a bit to get the waitress' attention after we finished our entrees ready to put our dessert order in. Overall, the food was delicious but I'd recommend upping the game selection if you're going to advertise Tuesdays as a game night.

I finally had breakfast here and man is the restaurant decorated nicely! The owner has quiet the eye for design. Unfortunately we were seated in the backyard tent because we didn't have a reservation, but it was fine because the music inside was a little louder then I was prepared for anyway. I tried the breakfast burrito which I wasn't a fan of, but I don't usually go for breakfast burritos. Our server brought over some green sauce which helped with the dryness. What was great were the french fries, definitely order the fries!

Food & service was fantastic! I was influenced by their IG post to come & try their chicken Caesar wrap & Arnold Palmer and it did not disappoint. My new favorite spot for lunch in uptown Hoboken.

Overall rating: 4.8 Omg this is so good. Wow. I got the smash burger with fries and everything was so good. I loved the decor of the place- very cute and kitschy. I'm very surprised of the low rating bc that burger was absolutely amazing. I actually thought I didn't like smash burgers and then I just realized I do! Highly recommend & will def be coming back when I'm in the area.

Came here with my husband to celebrate my dinner, we got a (1) Plantain Steak Sangwich, (2) Burger and (3) Breakfast Burrito to share. Everything was slightly under-salted so we had to put salsa on everything, thankfully they have three different types of salsas on every table. The Plantain Steak Sangwich was cool with the plantain as the bun, I quite liked that. Service was good, no wait for a table on the Monday evening we came on. On a different day we also came to get a sausage bread from their bread case, it was $10 and quite a hefty portion. If you sign up for their rewards program, you get $5 off on your birthday:)

Cute place, pretty small but can fit a party of 4 up front. might have been more seating in the back. I got the birria cheesesteak which was pretty good but definitely small. Came w a side of chips which was whatever, would've preferred fries! Tasty but definitely messy. Also got the short rib grilled cheese, definitely on the greasy side, the pickled onions saved it. I ordered both with gluten free bread so take my rating w a grain of salt bc maybe the bread would've escalated the meal‍ who knows. overall it was okay, don't think I would come back for the food anytime soon. Service was kind and patient as well. It was literally empty on a monday dinner!

Had such a great time for brunch! Huge plus is that it's BYOB! We got the birria sandwich and omelette which was the perfect amount of food and so delicious. Cozy interior with great service!

Look at this lid with water droplets dripping on the hot chicken parm sandwich...which made the roll soggy! And, not soggy in a good way!

NO NAPKINS! I have been following Antique At 112 on Instagram and was very interested in trying their Chicken Parm sandwich. I ordered it around 3:30pm today, it was made to order, and after about 15-minutes, my order was placed in a shopping bag for me to take, however, since I was planning on eating the sandwich at the Hoboken Terminal while waiting for my train, I asked for napkins...and the answer shocked me...NO NAPKINS or even a paper towel...for outgoing orders...what? So I left, befuddled...sat down about 15-minutes later to enjoy the sandwich. Unfortunately, the sandwich was placed in a paper-type of container with a solid plastic lid...so no vent holes, so the bread/roll was quite soggy and the plastic lid had water from the hot sandwich which dripped down on the bread. The chicken, sauce and cheese tasted good...but I left and did not eat the roll - too soggy and not in a good way! Suggestions: buy napkins and include them for people who take your food to go; wrap hot sandwiches in aluminum foil to keep the sandwich hot for a longer period of time; and lastly, if you continue to use the container with a solid plastic lid, poke some holes to vent. I will not be back.

This is a great hidden gem in Hoboken and I'm lucky to be neighbors with them. The atmosphere is relaxing and the back patio is gorgeous. I always come for breakfast burrito, antique burger and the home-made sauces. Elizabeth gave wonderful service my last visit. Bonus points for being BYOB!

There was only one other family dining, and the space stayed empty the entire time. The service was genuinely great. Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere, and a really cute, cozy space. I especially loved the Christmas décor and overall vibe--it felt warm and inviting. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the prices. The house salad was $13 and honestly one of the most basic, smallest, and most boring salads I've ever had--very underwhelming for the cost. We also ordered quesadillas, a cheeseburger with fries, and grilled cheese with tomato soup. My son enjoyed the burger and fries, and the quesadillas were flavorful, generously filled with chicken and veggies, and came with sour cream, pico, and guac. The tomato soup was tasty, while the grilled cheese was just okay. One small but appreciated detail: canned soda. Cold, crisp, and not flat which is always a win. Lunch for 3 came in just under $100, which felt high given what we received. One frustration was being seated in a tight corner right next to the kitchen even though the dining room was completely empty. We were so close I could literally see into the kitchen and count items on the shelves. On top of that, the hostess repeatedly walked by calling out "corner," which became distracting and honestly a bit irritating. Overall, I liked the vibe, but the food-to-price ratio missed the mark for me. It wasn't bad--just alright.

Since my last visit, I had only ventured there once for a drink, but it had been far from a first choice. I loved that they had live music and a casual vibe, but my past culinary experience had been a letdown. However, I was very pleasantly surprised on my recent excursion. We grabbed seats at the rustic bar and enjoyed friendly service and pints of Kane Head High, my favorite beer. The crisp, refreshing brew went well with my cup of Chicken Noodle Soup. While that might sound like an odd "snack", I selected it because it was one of the few appetizers on the menu that was not fried. The broth seemed to interestingly be made of tomatoes and potentially other vegetables. It was packed with large, spiral noodles, shredded chicken, and fresh spinach. It was an interesting rendition for sure, but it was also very tasty, despite the fact that it was rather greasy. I was also bummed that it did not have more chicken and that it had not been served with any crackers. Oh well! Overall, it at least had left me with a much better impression than my last trip had.

The space was not large, but they really made the most of it, offering a decent number of tables with reasonable space between them. My friend and I were quickly seated and immediately greeted by a charming server that opened our bottle of wine (it's BYO) and offered us still or sparkling water. I had read in other reviews that you had to pay for water, so I was not surprised by the $6 bottle of Saratoga that wound up on our bill. In addition to our engaging server and the happening atmosphere, the food was similarly incredible. We decided to order a load of things to share, so that we could try a greater variety. We started with two appetizers that were seasonal Spring additions to the menu. The Hamachi Crudo included five thickly-sliced, tender pieces of Japanese yellowtail sitting in a broth of rhubarb aguachile and topped with white strawberries and basil seeds. It was an unique blend that we would not have expected to work, but boy was it delicious! The sweet toppings infused a load of flavor into an otherwise mild fish. We also enjoyed the Fava-mole, a creamy puree of fava beans studded with balls of hand-pulled mozzarella and pea tendrils, all drizzled with zesty ramp oil. I had not been sure what to expect from the dish, but it offered fresh, bright garden flavors. We also decided to share a pasta course and an entree. The Fettuccini was tossed with spring truffles and maitakes in a light, yet heavily aromatic, wild mushroom cream sauce. It was one of the best dishes I had had in quite some time. Then, as we were waiting on our seafood entree, we received a second pasta, courtesy of the Chef. I had mentioned that I had heard rave reviews about Flour from a server at Heirloom Kitchen, a top NJ restaurant. Apparently, our waiter had let the Chef know about that glowing praise, and the kitchen further verified that positivity with the generous gesture. In fact, they wound up sending out the Linguine with white clam sauce, razor clams, and wild ramps, the other dish about which I had been most curious anyway. Well, it was another winner! It was garlicky, herbaceous, and rich with flavors of the sea. Speaking of seafood, we next received the Branzino 'Bahn mi', a perfectly cooked piece of Mediterranean sea bass with Vietnamese sausage and pickled vegetables. The branzino's crispy skin and flaky, moist interior were excellent, and we loved all of the other smoky and briny flavors on the plate. After all of that excellent food, we would have loved to try one of their appealing desserts, but we were just too full. Between the ambiance, welcoming vibe, and delicious cuisine, our Flour experience was simply divine! It has now became one of my favorite restaurants in the area, and I cannot wait to try their pizza at some point as well.

We ended the night with the s'mores dessert, which was rich and chocolatey. Also, the fact that the restaurant is BYOB is a huge plus! The only downside was that I lost an item during our visit. I had a really hard time finding their contact information online, so I had to go back in person to ask about it, which was a bit annoying. The menu we had was specific to the tasting even but all made by the same everyday chef. The first course was white asparagus with a hollandaise sauce and that was so tender and delicious but light enough that I wasn't full at all. The second course was halibut with risotto and crab and there was so much meatiness. It was my favorite place and the flavors went so well together. Next was grilled oysters and I've never liked oysters but these were amazing! The bacon and breadcrumbs that had a slight lemon flavor went so well with the oysters. Next was lamb loin with stewed white beans and carrots. The lamb was medium rare, I could have skipped the beans but that's me.
