Stopped here for lunch on our way to the Museum of Flight. What a gem! We arrived on a rainy Saturday to a short line of people waiting for tables so we knew it would be good. A guy came out from the bar (who we later learned was the owner, Michael) and asked if he could get us a drink while we were waiting. We got Bloody Mary's, and what a surprise to get a shorty of beer with it! We both decided to order breakfast. My hubby ordered chicken fried steak and I got the South Park platter. Everything was absolutely amazing...the homemade biscuit, the super crispy rosemary garlic potatoes, the sausage maple cayenne sausage patty, gravy for the chicken fried steak! Need I say more? They also make their own pickles, which they started doing during Covid, and they let us try one. Super tasty and even the pickled jalapeño in it was delish and not too spicy. Michael, his partner, and the whole team were gracious, friendly, and created an overall great experience! I highly recommend stopping in and we will return for sure. read more

What a hidden gem! We happened to stumble on this place after arriving in Seattle, in hopes of having a nice brunch with our friends. We had a larger party, but the owner was willing to help us set up outside together (and the weather was perfect for that - which was bolstered by their small above-table heaters). Our server was prompt and attentive, giving us a chance to order food and drinks while we waited for the rest of our party. In general, the food was good (can you tell by the lack of photos?!). The portions were decent size, so we could have shared each dish between two people. All in all, good experience and would be back again when we're in the area! read more

I'm a -5 star gal myself and they were OH so willing to please. Giving this place a 4 because the food felt like it was nothing special. Maybe i'll try something else next time because I had the loaded tots. Nice place. Came in from North Bend for a Museum of Flight event and we needed breakfast - and boy we got it! We both did the Bloody Mary option and dove in to the breakfast specials. Homemade food at a hearty portion and great price. Mrs had the steak and egg combo and I had the more traditional eggs/bacon/potatos/biscuit meal. Homemade biscuits!! With honey butter too. There's a blonde woman with glasses, who is usually there when I come in. She is a GEM!!! Stuff tried: Fried mac and cheese balls: fried mac and cheese balls are as indulgent as they sound. So much carby and cheesy goodness! Totchos: tater tots smothered in beans, sweet corn and cheese: love tater tots but wish there was more glorious toppings atop these tots! Cream cheese and jalapeno hand pie: delicious hot pockets! A little weirded out by the berry jam dipping sauce but oh man it works! Savory and sweet! Breakfast sandwich: egg, smashed tots and cheese on buttery grilled toast. Yummt and Filling when you add a large side salad or other fried potato side! It is great they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Yum and yum. I came here with my family, including three young kids for breakfast, and we had a most excellent time. The food was exceptional. You could tell that there was love poured into the menu and cooking, sometimes a place will just have that little extra something that makes it exceptional and uncle Eddie's definitely has that little extra special bit. The potatoes that were served as a side were well cooked and simple. The perfect addition to a delicious meal. My daughter is gluten/dairy/egg free and we were easily able to get her some sides including gluten free toast. The mac n cheese balls were crispy and creamy- fries and tots were perfect. The breakfast here is incredible. The hollandaise tastes like it is made from scratch, and I really enjoyed the slightly spicy flavor. The breakfast potatoes are some of the best I have had in this city - and are so uniquely prepared that we had to inquire as to how! Self seat and instant service. Moscow mule and a draft beer both came out quick and the server was very friendly. The setting is nice and seating is comfortable, with booths as well as a bar. The food was amazing! The meatloaf sandwich was moist and well seasoned. The salad had a nice dressing and was a nice contrast to the dish. The jalapeño pies were creamy and spicy and went really well with the jam. The pastrami Reuben was flavorful and filling. We very much appreciated the service from our waitress. Or get a hankering for scratch-made soup and an artisan sandwich? Do you wish you could do away with the blank stares and snickering from the kitchen when you ask for vegetarian options (I assume this happens, since I have upon a time been the one doing the snickering)? Do you find yourself thinking, "For the love of Pete, doesn't ANYONE PICKLE EGGS ANYMORE?" Worry not: Uncle Eddie's has your back. Do you need a family place, because you have kids? Uncle Eddie's has high-chairs and a kids menu, yet they won't hesitate to serve you a craft cocktail, microbrew, or that ubiquitous "Mommy's Little Helper", a cool glass of Chardonnay...because, you have kids.
