The broth was delicious and the burst of juice upon the first bite made it a fun dumpling. Also try their cucumber salad! The uncle fried rice was super fluffy. Really enjoyed that. We also loved the garlic noodles and although it wasn't the greatest it was great nonetheless. The fried potstickers here were crunchy and filled with juicy meat. I don't think any of the items I ordered are really the favorites, but I don't eat pork so I wasn't able to try a lot of the items. I don't think I ordered the right items because everything was just OK. Nothing I would really want to come back for but if they made more soup dumplings without pork & just with chicken or shrimp, I'd love to try them. Staff we're friendly. We started with the Spicy Beef Shank, the waiter nicely informed us this would be served cold, which was totally ok with us and the flavor was on point! My absolute favorite dish was the Salt & Peppers Squid, very crispy and great flavor, I think I would like to kick it up and add five spice next time if thats a possibility. Jajang Noodles had a great texture, but to me it was under‑seasoned. We ended up mixing in a lot of chili oil to boost the flavor. We tried two different soup dumplings, the Spicy Pork Xiao Long Bao was well cooked with nice texture, but surprisingly mild--could use more spice given the "spicy" label. The Black Truffle Xiao Long Bao is what we came here for and it did not disappoint, amazing flavors, well executed. To cap off the meal we had the Chocolate Xiao Long Bao and it was to die for. The warm chocolate and strawberry paired perfectly with the tiramisu cream sauce. Would definitely come here again to check out some other items on the menu. Went back to Uncle Dumpling again tonight. About the sixth time here now. Still amazing food. I cant get enough of the peach cloud. So good. The garlic noodle with beef and haw gow tonight was also amazing. We also had the cucumber salad...every time....still great. Tonight we also go a lychee tea. Tasted a but off (?) So the nice man remade it. We said it was fine but really didn't like it and I guess the could tell (cuz it was still full at the end.of the meal) and they removed it from our bill. So far we have been served by virtually different people each time there and each time the service is on point. Tonight we sat outside. I think this is also the reason why our food came out super fast, a little sloppy, and most importantly a little undercooked. The green beans were still a little raw and some of the dumplings were still dripping red (should be brown/clear if cooked thoroughly). I think most of the items tasted okay, but not a big fan as I've definitely had better. The XLB wrap could be better.
