We've loved coming to Leo's for 14 years. Food is consistent and just the right comfort food. Lunch specials. The owners and staff are friendly.

Super Set Family Dinner includes appetizers, soo yummy!

My husband and I were looking for a nice dinner to take the kids after getting our taxes done in the center and decided to try out this spot! After perusing their drool-worthy menu we decided on the Super Set Family Dinner with Egg Flower Soup, Wonton Soup, Tofu with Mix Vegetables, Combo Hong Kong Style Pan Fried Noodle and Fish Fillet Sauteed w/Vegetable. A 5 Star worthy family-style meal that even the kids loved with plenty of leftovers! I would highly recommend this local Chinese restaurant and we'll definitely be returning to try more of their menu! Great customer service! SYOY! :-)

    DRY!!! Not fresh at all.

Wanted to get duck for Christmas Day. Called in and she had to check if they still had a half duck available and responded with a yes. I was excited until I opened the dish at home. I couldn't believe they would have a customer pay nearly $20 for this. It seemed like it was old and reheated under the roaster again. It was well over cooked almost dehydrated like jerky! There was no sign of any juice whatsoever. I would have been happy if they didn't have any available instead of selling me this horrible entree of a dish. I don't like writing negative reviews but this was unacceptable especially on a special day like Christmas... smh. I know they are busy today but I was expecting better quality.

Decided to give this a try! Parking was not an issue, it is located in a plaza that isn't usually too busy. I decided to order the beef and broccoli combo. The waitress was super nice and respectful. For the combo I had questioned if I could do half rice and half chow mein they answered just yes. However, when it came down to the bill, It said there was a $2 charge. I truly didn't appreciate how this charge was a surprise and they could have just mentioned it upfront or at least on the menu to let others be aware. it was no issue, I paid it however please put this on the menu so it doesn't stir up any confusion!!! As for the combo, the food wasn't the best but it wasn't bad just OKAY. I felt the chow mein and fried rice was a bit bland, needed more salt and seasonings. The egg roll was kind of cold and had too much eggroll wrap but little stuffing inside. However, the main dish was the beef and broccoli! I felt this was delicious. It had fresh broccoli and the meat was tender. I loved it. The dimsum soup was SO good and warming. I loved it. Wish I could have liked everything, but still worth trying if you're trying to get a quick bite!

small corner of the strip shopping center with lots of windows, and stark decor. The banquettes need to be replaced as the seats have tears in them, but overall the place is clean. Weekday lunch specials appeared to be a good deal. But, you always get what you paid for... right? We ordered the lunch specials (1 item with rice, soup and a spring roll), both requesting each dish be 'extra spicy'.... Both of our main dishes were pretty bland and definitely overcooked. Really flavorless. So, if you are looking to save money for lunch, go ahead, but if you are looking for a flavorful meal, try elsewhere.

Our family stopped by Leo's Kitchen in Roseville, right after we finished our taxes in the same shopping area. From the outside, Leo's Kitchen, looked small but appearances can be deceiving. We were warmly greeted by the proprietor and were seated promptly. We ordered the family meal for three and it was amazing! We will be coming back again and again.

Last week I was hanging out with an old friend and our furious Pokemon go playing left us seriously famished. She mentioned this spot was a favorite of hers and that they're accommodating so I said let's get it! And I could see clearly why it's a favorite. Accommodating they absolutely were. I felt comfortable ordering what I actually wanted. We chose a booth in the corner and got to work looking over the menu. Sometimes I worry about asking a lot of questions of the server, but I didn't need to worry at all here. Jenna told the server I was vegetarian and from then on she would tell me which things I could have or could be made to order vegetarian. They have a combo dinner plate that I was allowed to make substitutions on since there were no meatless options for the combo plate on the menu. Some places don't let you do this. I ordered the vegetable medley with tofu added, veggie chow mein as the side, plus egg roll, and a cup of wonton soup without the wontons. I know that sounds weird and I wouldn't have ordered it but we also wanted a big bowl of veggie hot n sour and the server offered to do a cup of the wonton soup broth with the greens "so I could try it." (Jenna also had said I must try it and I have trusted her with my life since 2002.) When I say this alone was fantastic I'm not lying. The broth was so delicious. (Spinach and green onions were also in there soaking up the broth.) So too was the hot n sour soup. Yummmm. They won't give you a cup of it without meat but they'll make you a big bowl to order without so that's cool. My tofu and mixed vegetables was fire. The tofu wasn't too soft, and they had bamboo and water chestnuts in the medley, my favorites. Plus mushrooms and broccoli. Not as excited for squash and carrots but they hold flavors well so. I never know what I'm getting with the mixed veggies at Chinese food spots, so it's always a fun surprise to see. Don't sleep on the chow mein. It was so flippin tasty. Best I've had in a long time. Reminded me of the chow mein at my old favorite, Twin Dragon in Auburn, where I suggested we go but we decided was too far. I'm so glad we came here instead though! This place had great friendly vibes. Lots of tables and booths, busy until around the time we were done which happened to be closing time whoops. We can talk for ages and we did order a lot of food! I had enough leftovers for two meals, easy. It's a nice restaurant too, very beautifully decorated. I highly recommend coming in here for some delicious Chinese food. That combo plate I was talking about was $16 for entree, side, egg roll, and a cup of soup. My tofu sub was a couple bucks on top of it. The big bowl of soup was $11 and enough for four people. Value! Taste! Ambiance! Friendship! Oh yeah. Vegan Corner: you would need to ask but our server was so friendly explaining what can be made to order that I imagine vegan is possible Parking: busy lot with some tight spaces and terrible drivers, so typical Roseville Bathroom Report: the tiniest bit janky, but clean is what we like

The restaurant is quite unassuming inside a strip mall. We pulled up and I wondered if I'd made the right choice for dinner. Let me tell you, I absolutely did. Now let me tell you about the food...I wish I had gotten the chance to take pictures but the devouring began immediately once it was served. We had house fried rice, chicken chow mien, sweet & sour chicken, king pao chicken, honey walnut shrimp, orange beef, and the crab cream cheese rangoons. Every single dish was cooked to perfection....To. Perfection. The prices were extremely reasonable, the portions were big, and the service was wonderful. There was a steady amount of people coming to dine in, and a ton of to go orders that were being picked up. I can foresee me picking up a delicious combination plate on my way home from work in the near future. Such a great experience and I'm grateful for the Tik Tok video that guided me here! We've officially found our new favorite Chinese restaurant.

Time for Dim Sum...because apparently every time I watch Crazy Rich Asians, my stomach turns into a…read moredramatic main character and demands dumplings immediately. Normally, I hit up Yue Huang, but lately it's been giving "long wait, mild heartbreak." So I decided to branch out and found this hidden gem in Granite Bay...and let me tell you...BEST decision. You walk in and BAM!!!! Old school Chinese restaurant vibes. Red booths, classic decor, slightly run down in that "if these walls could talk, they'd recommend everything on the menu" kind of way. And if you know, you KNOW...that's when the food is about to slap. We came with a mission (aka hungry and slightly unhinged) and ordered: baked BBQ pork buns, shumai, har gow, shrimp rice rolls, pineapple baked custard buns, fried shrimp balls, and soup dumplings. Basically, if it could be steamed, fried, or stuffed...we said yes. It's clearly family run, which I love. Mom is running the show like a boss, kids are hustling, and since it was Mother's Day...CHAOS. Delicious chaos. Food flying out, servers holding trays of dumplings like treasures, stopping at your table and you're like "YES, THIS IS MY MOMENT"...and then they walk away to another table. Emotional rollercoaster. So many "Ooooh yay!" followed by "Ohhh man..." But honestly? It just built the suspense. Then OUR food arrived...and our eyes went WIDE. These dumplings are HUGE. Like, "one bite? absolutely not" huge. The BBQ pork buns were soft, fluffy, slightly sweet clouds of happiness. Har gow and shrimp rice rolls were perfectly steamed (no soggy sadness here ). Now, because it was busy, the shrimp had a bit of a split personality...some bites were perfectly snappy and delicious, others were just a little overcooked. Not tragic, just not living their absolute best life. But overall? Everything was GOOD. And then the check came...about $60 for ALL that food. I almost checked it twice like, "Ma'am...are you sure you charged me correctly?" Because that is a STEAL. What really got me though was the family. You could see the hustle, the stress, the love...all happening in real time. Even in the chaos, they were kind, smiling, and apologizing for the wait. That kind of heart hits different. Final verdict: great food, great value, and a whole lot of love. I'll definitely be back to try more of their main dishes. Until next dumpling craving...

The dim sum was good, the place was cleaner, and owner was a super friendly and upbeat. Small family ran business! All right, let's get this messaging out there. Is it the best dim sum ever? In the world? Definitely not. Best in the Folsom/Granite Bay Area... yes! Sure you can get dim sum cheaper and probably more modern innovative dishes in South Sac. But that's 30+ miles away, one way. Best Dim Sum focuses on classic Cantonese dim sum dishes. The dim sum menu is large enough to hit all the classics including rice porridge which they have right kinds in the menu. Besides dim sum, they also have other classic Cantonese Chinese entrees and have a weekday lunch combo plate specials. If you have MSG food aversion, ask them before you order. I ordered sui mai, sticky rice in lotus leaf, egg custard, and fried sesame balls to go. The sui mai was tasty. Big, fat hunky four piece order. The fried sesame balls were heavenly delicious. Mmm. Crisp exterior with the stretchy, soft chewy rice flour crust and warm red bean paste interior. That's was a fun one to eat... the smell fried dough and then sweet paste,, the sound of the slight crackling, and sight of the all so subtle stretch. The sticky rice in lotus leaf had a ground pork filling inside but lacking the customary classic slices of salted egg and lap chon ( Chinese sausage). It was still tasty though. There was a slight ordering error with the egg custard. I ordered the Chinese style egg custard but got the Portuguese egg custard instead. I still enjoyed it! Pricing was the same, so no loss there. The difference is that the Portuguese egg custard has a puff pastry crust while the Chinese version is more of a firmer shortbread crust. But this Portuguese version had the same shortbread crust as the Chinese version. Also the Portuguese custard is sweeter and caramelized on top while the Chinese version is less sweet and not caramelized which this was. Still delicious!
