Big yums happening here. I'm sad I moved farther away from this absolutely delicious and vegetarian friendly Chinese food spot. Last week I was hanging out with an old friend and our furious Pokemon go playing left us seriously famished. She mentioned this spot was a favorite of hers and that they're accommodating so I said let's get it! And I could see clearly why it's a favorite. Accommodating they absolutely were. I felt comfortable ordering what I actually wanted. We chose a booth in the corner and got to work looking over the menu. Sometimes I worry about asking a lot of questions of the server, but I didn't need to worry at all here. Jenna told the server I was vegetarian and from then on she would tell me which things I could have or could be made to order vegetarian. They have a combo dinner plate that I was allowed to make substitutions on since there were no meatless options for the combo plate on the menu. Some places don't let you do this. I ordered the vegetable medley with tofu added, veggie chow mein as the side, plus egg roll, and a cup of wonton soup without the wontons. I know that sounds weird and I wouldn't have ordered it but we also wanted a big bowl of veggie hot n sour and the server offered to do a cup of the wonton soup broth with the greens "so I could try it." (Jenna also had said I must try it and I have trusted her with my life since 2002.) When I say this alone was fantastic I'm not lying. The broth was so delicious. (Spinach and green onions were also in there soaking up the broth.) So too was the hot n sour soup. Yummmm. They won't give you a cup of it without meat but they'll make you a big bowl to order without so that's cool. My tofu and mixed vegetables was fire. The tofu wasn't too soft, and they had bamboo and water chestnuts in the medley, my favorites. Plus mushrooms and broccoli. Not as excited for squash and carrots but they hold flavors well so. I never know what I'm getting with the mixed veggies at Chinese food spots, so it's always a fun surprise to see. Don't sleep on the chow mein. It was so flippin tasty. Best I've had in a long time. Reminded me of the chow mein at my old favorite, Twin Dragon in Auburn, where I suggested we go but we decided was too far. I'm so glad we came here instead though! This place had great friendly vibes. Lots of tables and booths, busy until around the time we were done which happened to be closing time whoops. We can talk for ages and we did order a lot of food! I had enough leftovers for two meals, easy. It's a nice restaurant too, very beautifully decorated. I highly recommend coming in here for some delicious Chinese food. That combo plate I was talking about was $16 for entree, side, egg roll, and a cup of soup. My tofu sub was a couple bucks on top of it. The big bowl of soup was $11 and enough for four people. Value! Taste! Ambiance! Friendship! Oh yeah. Wow, I am blown away by how good Chopsticks Restaurant is! I saw it on a TikTok where a creator said it was the best so I had to try it. The restaurant is quite unassuming inside a strip mall. We pulled up and I wondered if I'd made the right choice for dinner. Let me tell you, I absolutely did. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed. We had a larger party and sat at a round table with a lazy Susan in the middle for easy sharing. The ambiance was cute and it was super clean. Now let me tell you about the food...I wish I had gotten the chance to take pictures but the devouring began immediately once it was served. We had house fried rice, chicken chow mien, sweet & sour chicken, king pao chicken, honey walnut shrimp, orange beef, and the crab cream cheese rangoons. Every single dish was cooked to perfection....To. Perfection. The prices were extremely reasonable, the portions were big, and the service was wonderful. There was a steady amount of people coming to dine in, and a ton of to go orders that were being picked up. The food here is very good. Has probably the best pork fried rice I've ever tasted. Had some new waiter staff help us the last two times. The gentleman was very polite and very tentative to what we needed. It's always clean and not very loud. This was a solid 3.7. We actually intended to go to the Rose Garden across the street but they were closed for vacation so we thought we would try here. It's funny because we sat there the whole time comparing the two. The chow mein here was heads and tales better along with the foil wrapped chicken and bbq pork rib. I also preferred the fried rice and the wonton soup over the garden. They came in pretty equal for egg rolls, fried prawns and beef skewer. Where the Rose Garden wins is the cream cheese wontons and the honey walnut shrimp. The shrimp was the whole reason we were going over there. We were thinking about it ever since we ate it last time lol. Chopsticks is good but it's not near as good as the other. I didn't care for the General Tso chicken, I would definitely try something else next time. The prices are a bit high but comparable. I was sad that they wouldn't give us an option to have the walnut shrimp as part of a combo plate or the family dinner. We paid $75 for a two person poopoo platter, an order of cream cheese wontons, a combo plate and an order of honey shrimp. It was enough for 3 people with a small amount of leftovers. We would definitely try here again, just wish we had more options for the combo plates. They didn't even allow orange chicken on there . The service was just ok. The food is amazing. Always fresh and made in house. The pot stickers are the best, so much so that they occasionally run out. Disappointing, yes, but it reinforces that it's made fresh and good. Friendly and courteous staff with decent food and a clean space. I stopped by here on a business trip for my craving of orange chicken based upon others' recommendations. I recognize orange chicken is not an authentic Chinese dish but I just had a childhood nostalgic hankering. Also ordered some bbq pork fried rice and Peking ribs to round out my splurge. Hate to admit the orange chicken ended up being the disappointment, as it was dry and not very flavorful, but the ribs and fried rice were pretty good! The pork in both dishes was tender and moist, and the fried rice remained soft even after traveling to my hotel. I think I've learned my lesson and will stick to the authentic dishes. Food here is really good, though not authentic. Been going here for over 15 years so this review is way over do. Both lunch and dinner specials come with soup and eggrolls, super cheap with huge portions. My favorite are wonton, chicken chow mein, scrambled eggs/shrimp, all the beef and stir fry vegetables dishes are great (yes, I've literally tried them all), chicken curry, walnut shrimp and deep fried salt n pepper fish filet. I've been eyeing this place since I've been a frequent customer at the donut shop in the same plaza. I saw on Yelp that they had a lunch special so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the sesame chicken lunch special. The lunch special included fried rice, chow mein, your choice of entree, and an eggroll. It came out to about $13 which isn't too bad. The sesame chicken was okay for my taste but their fried rice and chow mein were very tasty! I will probably be back again for the lunch special but will try another entree. read more

Me and my daughter went for the first time to get food for the family. We had compile chicken, orange chicken. We have fried rice and vegetable chow mein along with eggrolls. The service was wonderful. The receptionist took our order. She was so sweet. She brought the food out to us when I pulled up we ordered to go we got home. They mentioned the menu online are old prices. Better to Dine in if you do decide eating here (good vibe inside). My rating is combination of service/ ambiance/ pricing/ and opinion on food. I would have given a better rating which i would want to, however the pricing versus other upscale chinese style restaurant's around the area are almost the same pricing, and this place is not upscale, NOT far because its still a decent establishment. Have not yet tried a dish that was not good. The pork buns were perfectly cooked and tasted great. The sesame chicken, honey prawns with walnuts and sweet and sour chicken are some of the best around. Cannot decide if I like the fried rice or chow mein better, they are both really good.
