I went in to pick up some makeup necessities before a trip and noticed the salon was open. As I was already looking to get my haircut and don't currently have a stylist I decided to give the stylists at Ulta a chance. I couldn't be happier with my results. All of the ladies and gentlemen who work there were super friendly and knowledgeable and the prices were very reasonable! Yovana and her assistant (I wish I would've gotten her name because she was great!) did a wonderful job. I'd highly recommend Yovana, she listened to what I wanted and I walked out feeling beautiful. Thank you Yovana and team for making my day. read more

Shout out to my hair stylist Haleigh for the beautiful full highlights she did yesterday. She's amazing from her line of work to an overall chill person. I enjoy my salon time from highlights to hair treatments . I've been a client of hers since the beginning of the year . If you're looking for a friendly and skilled stylist book an appointment at the Ulta location of Sisk. read more

Seriously do not go here. I'm so upset. This was a senior stylist. Nobody will touch my hair even for like $800 color correction. I've purchased K18 and have been doing treatments. My hair is fried. It's so ugly. read more

I'm giving the stars for the star not for my $30 makeup lesson. That was ridiculous and I learned more from YouTube. The store is bright, clean and full of many staff members if you have questions. Just know you will always end up buying more than what you came for. Not just the staff "helping" you be a better you recommending products you didn't even know ya needed. read more

I made the empowering decision to transform my look by cutting off a significant amount of my hair today. I had my favorite hair stylist, Yovana Pineda, work her magic, of course. Nancy, Alicia, Beatriz, and the entire staff are always welcoming and kind, making every visit a truly uplifting experience that leaves me feeling rejuvenated. This salon is definitely a one-stop shopping experience for me. read more

all they want is a sale, very pushy and sarcastic. Suzanne is very sarcastic and rude. was getting upset at the fact that I found products cheaper on Amazon rather in store. constantly bombarded by the workers asking if I need help or finding anything. I don't recommend going here if you actually want help finding anything. read more

It was my birthday going this last weekend with a couple girls and I came across this LOVELY make up artist named Alyssa that showed me the highlighter she was wearing that was blindingly beautiful! (I bought it of course) she showed me the new Charolette Tillberry foundation that packaging was a little different than the other that I loved as well!!! I also got the most gorgeous shade of the Fenti lipgloss that is somewhat 3 dimensional and lots of items and a perfume I adore that she helped me find a lot! If you need any help or have any questions make up related? Alyssa is your girl! She's gorgeous, friendly, EXTREMELY knowledgeable in all brands, and will mention things you didn't even know about that nicely accommodate what you're already looking for and really is amazing! Her and everyone that said happy birthday to me are beautiful souls!!! LOVE love love this location!!! Thank you guys for giving me the best birthday experience and especially Alyssa! read more

Their customer service is horrible. Very judgmental and unhelpful. Most of the makeup on the shelves are messed up and not where they are supposed to be. Testers are missing as well. Products are dirty from other products. Women at the cashiers were especially rude and clearly weren't doing their jobs at all. Just side eyes and attitude from this store. Do not go here and save your time elsewhere :) This was my first time at this store as well and it did not leave a good impression. read more

I went to Ulta in Modesto to get a haircut and all over color. Before my appointment we talked about the colors they had and that highlights would look better. I wasn't told that the cost would go from 78 to 120. My total bill was $206.! For highlights that was supposed to be red but look orange and a trim. I will never go back there. While I was explaining to the girl at checkout that I have to put some on my credit card and the other on my debit card she was sort of just brushing me off! And had the nerve to ask if I wanted to leave a tip. I said no, I didn't have it now! Unbelievable! I have a tip for them. How about telling the customer of the price change before supplying the service. I didn't think to ask as I was trying to decide on hair colors etc. read more

Went in to buy mascara. I'm really not loyal to anyone company. I approached Tiffany, she talking to another associate explaining about some companies product. She said I will be right with you. She came over me we discussed product. She said she preferred a certain brand. I said I had used that before. She said she personally preferred the brand I talked about. She was very knowledgeable and nice, like I was her friend. A few days later I called her manager and gave Tiffany a great recommendation. Her manager said Tiffany had been there for 10 years! I guess she does know her stuff and how to treat customers. You need something, ask for Tiffany at Ulta by Target on Sisk read more

Every employee is super sweet, everyone has fun and gets along in here, I get all the help I need and the salon is awesome as well.

Great place everyone is helpful yet sometimes there are people just standing around especially at the registers

I've been to 2 different saphoras 2 different Mac stores and even an ulta store in Stockton and no one has been able to match me with a foundation powder. Today I went to this Ulta and was helped by Suzanne she matched me right away she has great customer service and made me feel confident and comfortable. This is definitely my new store to shop at for my makeup products. Thank you Suzanne!!! read more

Nancy V. is the best stylist around! She is always friendly and positive. I enjoy the time I spend chatting with her when she does my hair. She has helped me achieve my ultimate hair goals, and I love my hair more than ever! She is simply the best! read more

Tiffany is an amazing manager and a very kind person. The store is ran very well. Customers could do better by not swatching things that are not testers, but that is no reflection of the staff. The staff here is great as well. read more

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT go to NANCY V. For hair services! She is supposed to be promoted to "master" stylist and is clearly lying about her work. My hair was virgin hair before she had highlighted my hair. No chemicals, nothing ever done besides me trimming my own bangs. I have thick wavy Latina hair that is naturally black/brown. She talked so much about being cheating on to even triggering topics of SA etc., took so long, burnt my sides off, dyed my hair patchy and uneven and had the audacity to lie and say my hair must have been dyed or had some "chemicals" on it before she ruined my hair. I had not washed my hair for 2-3 days before my appointment as well, I do not put any chemicals of any kind on my hair. Money down the drain and I am still disputing the charge. Avoid NANCY V. At all costs! read more

Horrible customer service i went in the other day to pick up my order and i wanted to exchange it for a different color because it look so different from the picture online and they were so rude about it and told me " well thats why when you order online you have to make sure you are ordering the right color "! And also were saying they couldn't find my order so i had to show them on my phone. I also wanted to get another item in the store that had a promotion sign and they told me well can you show me on your phone where it says its on sale ! I honestly never had this happen to me and it was the worst experience ever so i ended up not getting nothing due to them being so rude . read more

I had a pick up order here i parked in the designated parking spot and then decided to buy some products while my daughter waited for the associate to arrive. I come back to my car and see this note that was placed on my windshield by an associate. This is incredibly unprofessional and speaks volumes of the staff that' is employed at the store. Deeper critical thinking skills/ exploring alternatives as to why a car might be parked there were not present. Quite frankly this makes me feel uncomfortable and almost threatened. The lengths this individual went to place this on my car does not sit right with me. It could have simply been addressed in store. It's a slap in the face because all I was doing was purchasing even more items on top of what was previously ordered in the pick up order. I'd like to mention this occurred around 6 pm there were several other empty curbside pickup spots. I have vision problems with one eye but am well within my legal limits to drive and conduce a vehicle . Its's so sad to see such ableist comments made by Ulta employees. read more

I like this Ulta okay. I appreciate when they shout "WELCOME" real loud at you just in case you're a secret shopper. This location is kept up okay. Some other Ulta stores are dirtier. I blame the white plastic shelving they use for colorful and messy makeup powders and creams. They are getting more and more brands in the stores. Sephora has more of the luxury brands, but Ulta carries the drugstore brands. I like the young guy with the dyed hair. I don't know if he still works there, but I've had him as a cashier probably 4x and he is always super nice and makes an effort to provide good customer service. Sign up for their free rewards program if you're going to shop there more than once, because you can earn $ rewards off eventually. You just give them your phone number on future shopping trips. Honestly, their rewards program is easier than Sephora. Just remember to tell the cashier to apply your $3 off or whatever. Also, check the website in case there's a coupon. They allow you to show the coupon on your cell phone, no printing needed. read more
