Roy and I went into Daydreams and Nightmares to rent a costume and buy accessories for a roaring 20's Birthday party. The owner is amazing and helped us pick out the perfect costume. She also gave us a tour of the shop. One of the rooms gave both of us chills and made us feel lightheaded! It was a really interesting place and experience! I recommend this shop for any costume needs and just to browse around, there is a lot of great stuff in there and we will definitely be back! read more

My friend and I decided to take a road trip spontaneously, and we had heard about this costume shop possibly being haunted, so we thought it would be worth a visit (even if it wasn't haunted, we still wanted to buy a wig). So we got there, and I was immediately nervous and overwhelmed because the guy (a ghost) in the corner of the shop by the bathroom was very territorial. I'm not sure what he wanted, but I think he didn't want me in his space or trying to communicate with him. As I was talking to the staff, the hinge for one of the doors for a container broke spontaneously. I think someone was trying to get my attention, but I was too busy talking to the owners. (who were charming people) This place has overwhelming energy, so if you are psychic, it may be a little much. I'm not saying anything was malevolent (though I didn't explore the entire store), but a little warning is warranted. read more

This is the absolute COOLEST place for Halloween decor EVER. Dana is such an awesome lady . Not everyday that you meet a store owner with such love for their store. Upon arrival my sister and I were kindly greeted by the owner Dana. Her niece and beautiful hairless kitty Laveau showed up a little later. Her store is amazing. She has tons of really cool stuff to look at. Her costumes are beautiful. I went there for a last minute 1920's dress. Dana was so friendly and had amazing customer service! From tea to body balms for sore muscles. I went into the store for the first time for Halloween makeup and they seemed to be the only store in my area that was knowledgeable and had a large selection based off of what I read online and I wasn't disappointed! When I walked in alone, Dana, asked how she could help US? I knew this place was haunted but I thought maybe I brought another spirit with me so I just joked about it and went about my way! She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She was also very friendly as well as the other lady who was working. Also I think they're prices are really good, I'm not too familiar how it compares to other places but I thought for some reason theater make up was way more expensive than normal make up so that was a pleasant surprise. We were told by the director of our small play to purchase a theater make-up kit from this business. Not only was their service amazing and their store well decorated and stocked, they were also very honest. My daughter had dropped a significant amount of money on the floor and paid for her items with cash. The cashier tracked her down through another girl from the same play.
