My friend and I decided to take a road trip spontaneously, and we had heard about this costume shop possibly being haunted, so we thought it would be worth a visit (even if it wasn't haunted, we still wanted to buy a wig). So we got there, and I was immediately nervous and overwhelmed because the guy (a ghost) in the corner of the shop by the bathroom was very territorial. I'm not sure what he wanted, but I think he didn't want me in his space or trying to communicate with him. As I was talking to the staff, the hinge for one of the doors for a container broke spontaneously. I think someone was trying to get my attention, but I was too busy talking to the owners. (who were charming people) This place has overwhelming energy, so if you are psychic, it may be a little much. I'm not saying anything was malevolent (though I didn't explore the entire store), but a little warning is warranted. read more

This shop has a great selection of special effects makeup and costumes. They carry name brand makeup for great prices which is great considering how much you would pay on online stores. The owner was really knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. She gave us a make up demonstration as well. I forgot to ask about it when I returned my rental, but I noticed they had a salon in the back as well! read more

Best costume/make-up shop in the area, hands down! They have a wide variety of quality costumes, accessories, and masks for every occasion. The staff and owner are friendly and knowledgeable. They really take the time to answer any questions you may have. They also carry professional make-up, like Ben Nye, and you don't have to break the bank to buy it. One of their newest additions are the home decor items, teas, incense, and sprays. This place is worth checking out, especially if you're into the paranormal, because it is located in an old mortuary. Perfect for spooky people like me. read more

She has tons of really cool stuff to look at. Her costumes are beautiful. I went there for a last minute 1920's dress. Dana was so friendly and had amazing customer service! I went into the store for the first time for Halloween makeup and they seemed to be the only store in my area that was knowledgeable and had a large selection based off of what I read online and I wasn't disappointed! When I walked in alone, Dana, asked how she could help US? I knew this place was haunted but I thought maybe I brought another spirit with me so I just joked about it and went about my way! She was so helpful and knowledgeable. She was also very friendly as well as the other lady who was working. Also I think they're prices are really good, I'm not too familiar how it compares to other places but I thought for some reason theater make up was way more expensive than normal make up so that was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be back on payday to stock up for Halloween. Also I'll be back for a spooky ghost hunt with my friends! Thanks again Dana! read more

We were told by the director of our small play to purchase a theater make-up kit from this business. Not only was their service amazing and their store well decorated and stocked, they were also very honest.
