Just wanted to praise this Sally's store for sticking to their hours of operation, unlike the Plaza Parkway location. I tried to shop at the Plaza Parkway store this week an entire hour before their stated closing time, only to find they'd already closed early (a chronic problem with that store for the last few years, which is getting worse and worse). I raced across town to this location, and to my relief found the door thrown wide open and welcoming employees within, 20 minutes before the store was due to close. Found what I needed and was out in 10 minutes, never feeling rushed by them. This is now my go-to Sally's. read more

I needed to get stuff desperately for my nails. I live in Stockton but found the Modesto sally was offering curb side pick up. I was hesitant with sheltering in place. I called the store and Holly helped me. I want to say how thankful I was with her service and patience. I got there a few minutes after the store closed and she didn't hesitate to wait for me to get there. She was very careful in being protective to give me my product. I know hair dye and bleach are not a "essential" right now with COVID-19 but to be able to contribute my "wants" by her working I thank her. I am a licensed cosmetologist. I have been shopping at Sally's for over 10 years monday 9-25-17 at 11am I had the worst experience here. Terrible customer service the blonde lady was extremely rude. I asked to use a coupon i had not multiple but just one. She refused. She said it HAS to be printed or show her my email not just a screen shot. I went to 3 other locations that day who were all friendly and let me use my 40% off promo code. Id highly suggest getting everyone on the same page with policy's. I HAVE NEVER heard we have to print them out in the 10 years shopping here. Very un professional. Id suggest going to Sally's in riverbank for better customer service. Avoid this location if possible! read more

I had a blonde girl help me the other day but I didn't catch her name.. she was very helpful in showing me different product options and explaining them thoroughly! Helpful staff, great selection. They always have what I need. From hair color to hair products to nail supplies. Just went in today and the sales person helped me with questions about certain colors I was looking for and gave me useful tips for application. On other occasions they've helped me find the right color stripper, and specific conditioners with ingredients that I had asked for. I'll definitely be back. read more

Came in to grab a few nail products and they were not fully stocked up but this location beats the other two thats for sure. Very nice lady at the cashier and makes u feel comfortable. HORRIBLE!! I will never buy another thing here!! They have an ALL SALES ARE FINAL POLICY. Which you only learn if you have a problem!! So after they sell you the wrong part for your clippers they will not take it in return for the right part. They stole my money in my opinion. Prices are WAY too high, check the internet and pay half the price at Amazon and don't deal with the rude, arrogant, snotty employees charging you twice the price for the wrong thing!!! please be patient with them!!! it took me about two days and a whole ton of phone calls later to get ahold of them! There's only two women half the day, and the phone is constantly ringing + people coming to the door to pick up orders and also try and play orders. Please keep in mind only credit and debit card transactions so you do need to pay over the phone! I witnessed a man and a woman today be rude to the worker for only doing her job. It's impossible to do a over the phone order, while talking to customers who demand a refund. The world is not the best place right now, PLEASE be kind to one another, especially the ones deemed essential! Your best bet is calling the number over and over, and when the time hits 00:20, hit the number 3. It should take you directly to the line and if it's not busy it'll continue ringing, if it's busy then just keep doing it till you can talk to someone! read more

Just left the Oakdale rd. store, walked straight in grabbed my one item (a hair clip) and walked back up to the register. A middle-aged, unkempt, woman in front of me proceeded to bring out her checkbook (get with this century so you dont waste everyone else's time please) and the woman behind the counter moved so slow I was watching the minutes tick by. After 10 FULL minutes of standing there before the woman even began writing her check, (cashier could have checked me out at the other register but that didn't even occur this genius), I tossed my clip on the counter in front of me and said "this is f****** insane, some people have other things to do today, I don't have the time to waste at a boutique that takes longer than Walmart. I will never set foot in this store again, I'll go anywhere else from now on." You've lost a a faithful customer because of the idiot working this afternoon. Disgusted at customer service being non-existent at this location. read more

I was here today! DONT GO HERE THEY ARE RACIST & WILL RACIAL PROFILE YOU IF YOU ARE BLACK OR ANYTHING OF COLOR!! 02/17/18 I wanted to get a nail polish for my nails to protect them. As there was me & my sister who are of colored witness 3 black girls come in looking around shopping, like all the white other girls were. As one of the girls that works there was blunt staring them down with no care in the world. Me & my sister we're mugging her so that we could give her a clue that she's being rude & very obvious to staring at them! But she didn't care at all, mind you that the line was super long & there was only one girl on the register.. instead of helping the girl with checking ppl out she continued to racially profile the 3 black girls didn't ask for them help or anything just followed them down every aisle they went down, she didn't even act like she was zoning the aisle at least. That's when all three girls said something verbally to her like "since you keep peaking down the aisle & following us can you come help us, because it's very unprofessional" me & my sister just told the only cashier 30secs prior to this Escalated.. we ask her is it part of your guys job to watch ppl like she is? & the girl at the cashier replied & said yeah well they've came in before stole.. NOT ALL BLACK PPL STEAL.. so we then replied with "well if that is the case that's not the professional way to do there's other ways to do it or go ask them for help if that's the case don't just stare & look them down! We then left. & that's when it escalated one of the girls threw the register & punched her in the face! I feel that the girl that works there needs to be fired she's not a security guard! I have the video of everything & will be posting it hoping it becomes viral!!! Because that was unacceptable what happened! & if you are any decent of color then this post is relatable we always get racially profiled! I will not come back to this Sally's & I will spread the word about this incident it just unacceptable I can't believe it's 2018 & this kind of stuff is still happening!!! Don't go here!!! read more
