This one is from the, it was way harder than it's needs to be file. We had a Google phone when at barely two months old, the screen partially stopped working. Google's recommendation was to take it to the nearest store from this chain and that they could assess it, do the work and even take care of any warranty issues. Visit 1: I take the phone to the store and technician #1 assesses the device and agrees that the screen is partially shot and no, it doesn't look like there is tons of wear and tear so it should be an easy open and shut case of everything being under warranty. He then tells me that they do not have any screens in stock and that it would be approximately five days until the work can be done. He said I should get a robo email with a date and time to pick it up. Visit 2: I did get the email and I showed up at the date and time. No dice. The screen still isn't in stock yet and technician #2 plays 50 questions with me regarding if I contacted Google, am I ok if need to pay out of pocket, there is tiny nick on the top which could invalidate the warranty, etc. BS aside, it's going to be another four more days. Call 1: Per technician #2, I call the store the day it's supposed to be ready to find out that while they did get the screen in, no, they hadn't started the work yet. Thankfully I called versus just showing up when they told me to show up since they forgot to even start the job. Visit 3: The phone is finally done after they had it for twice as long as initially told to me. Yes, it was all under warranty and my out of pocket was $0 but damn, the process is slow and disorganized to take care of what technician #1 made sound like a piece of cake job. In the future, a big maybe on coming back here because at least so far, the work was done right but if I need it done right away, I'll find another option. read more

I had my s25 Ultra brought in for a battery replacement, and was placed in a nearly 2 month limbo of them pushing dates, giving excuses, and giving a nasty attitude when questioned about this. Funny enough, I saw another review have a very similar experience with this store. When it was brought in, they asked all of the standard questions, and then when they told me how much they would charge, they seemed pretty insistent on finding 1 tiny thing wrong with it that a man repeatedly wiped down my phone and held it about an inch from his face inspecting it so that they could charge me. When my mother went to get my phone (I was working, if you're curious) so that I could send it in to Samsung to get it repaired, upon hearing which phone was being requisitioned most of the staff hid away in the back of the store. They then asked if it had been sent in with cracked back glass (which I had brought in with 0 damages). When I got my phone back, it had tiny scratches on the glass and a scratch on the metal on the left side. Absolutely under any circumstance avoid this store. read more

Every single time we have gotten our phones "fixed" they always break again. The screen is ALWAYS lifting back off and I'm done trying to use the "30 days" to always leave with yet another broken phone. I really don't know how y'all are Google Certified when you can't fix one Pixel let alone two or any of the subsequent times the same two phones were brought back for the same exact issue. I don't know if you're not scraping off the adhesive before hand but the guy at the register, when I pointed out the phone he gave back to me had the screen actively lifting, and he said "push it back in" News flash, I shouldn't have to "push it back in" (which inevitably broke the screen *again*) you should do your job right or stop advertising that you are Google certified. read more

Would genuinely give this place 0 stars. Seriously never bring your console here. Got my Xbox hdmi port fixed and after unplugging it twice and plugging it back in it was broken again. Took it back again after paying over 200$ the first time and the lady at the front said it looked good and should be able to be covered under warranty. didn't hear anything for three weeks and when I called was told they would not fix it under warranty. Multiple people have told me it was most definitely a poor job. Don't waste your money here they will just keep scamming you unless you wanna pay their $40 a month subscription. Not to mention when I came in the staff was instantly in defense mode and didn't really help out when I was already frustrated. For two trips I could have saved money by buying a new Xbox. I went in today to have my s10+ fixed. Needs front and rear glass. This is a $400 fix. I knew that going in. But when writing up the repair they asked for my access code. I told them I would not give out my code. They claimed they had to run diagnostics to repair the glass. ? Don't give up your access code. They are working on your phone where you are not present. You are giving them the access to ALL YOUR PERSONAL INFO! With your phone they can access your email which allows them to access your bank and credit cards. What you say you need a password for that? No you don't. All they have to do is hit that forgot password, go into your email and they could access it. There is a lot your phone controls. You need to protect it. Don't give them your code. Make them do it in front of you. They wouldn't for me. Really makes me wonder what they are doing. read more

Do not bring your iPad to this location for repair! I took my iPro in for a battery replacement. After two months of waiting and zero communication from their technicians I picked up my now non-functioning unit today. Over the two months they broke the screen and the home button. They also said they needed to replace the cellular service antenna. This on a unit that does not have cellular capability. After I told them that I got a "Oh really?". They advertise a track your repair service app. Don't waste your time. They don't use it; nor, do they call you back when you are trying to get an update. Bottom line. I now will be sending my iPad to Apple for replacement with a refurbished unit. Avoid Ubreakifix Easton. read more

Don't ever bring your IPhone here if you have water damage. I dropped my IPhone XS Max in a puddle. My phone was completely fine, everything worked. I just had moisture in my front camera. I took it there and he dried my iPhone out & the front camera was fixed. Paid $21 & left. I literally stepped outside for 5 secs & I looked at phone just to make sure everything was normal. I took a look at my phone & I noticed the back camera had moisture. I took it right back in & he takes my phone to the back for another 15 mins. He brings my phone back out to me & now BOTH cameras have moisture in it. Inside I'm screaming, but I'm still respectful. He gets on the phone with his boss (The Manager) because he's knows he messed up BIG TIME. The manager tried justifying her incompetent staff & offered me a refund. Now my phone has no sound, freezes & all because of the idiot. read more

I went in to the Easton, PA location today (4/20/22) at approx. 11:30am with a functional iPhone 11 that had a cracked screen, damage to the sim card slot, and the biggest issue of all being the inability to use the FaceID feature. After explaining this to the technician (emphasizing the FaceID issue) I was assured that they had the part and were able to do the repair. I was given a timeframe of 30-60min for the repair. After 60 minutes I returned to the store and asked for an update to which the technician replied we are just finishing it up. I took a seat and waited in the lobby for another 30min then asked for another update to which he replied that he's finished and just putting on the liquid glass screen protector that I purchased. After another 30min a different technician comes out with my "completed" device, as he prepares to ring me up, I asked him if the FaceID was now functional. He replied that he was unable to check because of the passcode, so I type it in for him, and after fiddling with the phone for a second he informs me that the FaceID still isn't working. He then went to get his manager who came out and explained that the FaceID issue that I was having is a known issue with iPhone 11's. (This same manager mentioned no such thing when I initially told them the issue, as he was standing at the counter when I first came in, assuring me they could fix the problem) After expressing my disappointment to him, he told me he would remove the third-party parts from my phone and put my original screen back onto my device so I could get it repaired at the Apple store. After waiting another 20min in the lobby the manager returns to tell me that he tried to put my original screen back onto my device, and unfortunately it was no longer functional so he left the newly installed screen on the device instead. After asking what my other options were, he explained that I could either leave with a functional phone (which is how it came into the store) that would have third-party parts on it, or I could get back the device with the original parts but it is no longer functional. Obviously I need a functioning phone. The fact that the manager; 1) knew that the FaceID issue was COMMON on this model device. 2) an issue that they likely couldn't repair. And 3) neglected to inform me of such prior to repairs being started is inexcusable. This put me in a position where I had to cough up the $154 for the new screen or be left with no functioning device. Without even having the primary repair resolved, and now having third-party parts on my device voiding the Apple warranty. read more

If there was a way to give these guys a better review than five stars I would. This is the second time I've been here with two completely different issues. These guys are so friendly and incredibly helpful. My phone fell into the pool and even though I usually back up my photos and videos, the last month did not backed up. I have an eight-month-old daughter and there are a couple of priceless videos on my phone of her and her grandparents. I explain to UBreakIFix that these videos are literally priceless. There are a lot of companies that I know of that would take advantage of the situation and charge an obscene amount but these guys didn't. They are currently working on my phone now and I'm guessing there is still a chance that I might not get my videos but it won't be because of the lack of trying on their part.
