    This one is from the, it was way harder than it's needs to be file…read more We had a Google phone when at barely two months old, the screen partially stopped working. Google's recommendation was to take it to the nearest store from this chain and that they could assess it, do the work and even take care of any warranty issues. Visit 1: I take the phone to the store and technician #1 assesses the device and agrees that the screen is partially shot and no, it doesn't look like there is tons of wear and tear so it should be an easy open and shut case of everything being under warranty. He then tells me that they do not have any screens in stock and that it would be approximately five days until the work can be done. He said I should get a robo email with a date and time to pick it up. Visit 2: I did get the email and I showed up at the date and time. No dice. The screen still isn't in stock yet and technician #2 plays 50 questions with me regarding if I contacted Google, am I ok if need to pay out of pocket, there is tiny nick on the top which could invalidate the warranty, etc. BS aside, it's going to be another four more days. Call 1: Per technician #2, I call the store the day it's supposed to be ready to find out that while they did get the screen in, no, they hadn't started the work yet. Thankfully I called versus just showing up when they told me to show up since they forgot to even start the job. Visit 3: The phone is finally done after they had it for twice as long as initially told to me. Yes, it was all under warranty and my out of pocket was $0 but damn, the process is slow and disorganized to take care of what technician #1 made sound like a piece of cake job. In the future, a big maybe on coming back here because at least so far, the work was done right but if I need it done right away, I'll find another option.

So I couldn't log into Samsung's network to authenticate. They helped get past the blocker, log into Samsung and my provider, and run the factory reset. I second the other customers who say professional and thorough. I'll add friendly and very good with customers. Beside the immediate issue, they suggested some solutions for archiving some old devices I have. I have worked in customer service of all kinds, since I entered the workforce nearly 40 years ago, and the team at the Easton uBreakiFix demonstrated the best I have seen from a business in a long time. I recommend them to anyone who needs help with his devices.

    I took my computer to Savemore and everything went perfect…read more The service communication is the best I've ever had. The aftercare warranty is also amazing. Please keep in mind this is a private business owned by one man. He is very kind and flexible. I received an over the phone diagnosis prior to entering his shop, albeit it was pretty simple (I needed a windows reinstall) He promised three day turnaround and it was true. He promised update calls and it was true. The value of the service was better than any corporation and the discounts he applies are very appreciative. If my computer becomes compromised or damaged I will always return to him.

He spent 15 minutes discussing possible causes, pricing and options - which was a pleasant surprise. Most places will simply tell you that they can fix any problem you have and just bring your PC to them. So after more research I was able to recover data from my PC much to my relief, even though it still doesn't boot up properly. I spoke with Jim again today and explained what I'd done. He advised me that my options were to either buy a new PC or spend $175 to reinstall Windows. Considering my PC is 9 years old, I'll opt to buy a new one. And the best part of the whole experience was that Jim actually gave me some advice on what to look for in a new PC. Even though I never had Jim fix my PC, I'm really glad that I spoke with him. He's a class act and I appreciate him taking time to help me even though he wasn't getting paid. Needless to say if I ever have PC issues in the future I'll call Jim.

    I brought in a friend's phone because he could not receive my calls. I suspected that it was…read moreblocked but could not figure out how to change the settings. I did not specifically say this. The first thing the repair guys said was - the glass is cracked and it has the antenna so it needs to be replaced. I asked what if it's not the glass. the receptionists said then we will put the old glass back on. (odd) i said what if the phone still does not work? we went round and round. So i left it and came back - the glass was replaced and it still did not work. NOW they checked by calling with their phone and with my phone and low and behold it was blocked. AND THEY SHOWED ME HOW TO UNBLOCK IT! Do I get an apology? no I get defensiveness. "This is not what we do to check if its blocked". (Excuse me - that is what you just did). The professional thing to do was to take the least expensive option first. And by the way $120.00????? I could have gotten the glass replaced for a lot less... NEVER AGAIN!
