I called in to begin my rental, went through the costs over phone and was told I needed to go in to sign paperwork and created my access code. When I got there I was told I needed to provide rental insurance for the unit and it would be $11/month. The rental insurance for my apartment is less than that. I opened my unit in December 2020. The policy to close your agreement and end billing was to notify the storage company 14 days before your next billing date. I went, in person because they don't return phone calls, and cancelled my unit in the specified time frame. The woman whose name I won't use gave me a hard time and told me that she would cancel the unit and not charge me but only if I went on and left her a glowing review... I wasn't going to leave any review because the only one I was going to leave was going to be negative based on my concerns listed at the beginning. After that interaction and the fact that I was then billed for the next month this company would get 0 stars from me if possible. Currently trying to dispute the charge with my card company now.
