This place totally disappointed me. I reserved a space in advance, followed by a confirmation…read moreemail, saying "See you Saturday afternoon". They never told me that they close their office at 2:00pm on a Saturday afternoon. Realistically, is this a good business model? At least on the weekends you need to have extended hours. I mean, most people work for a living and cannot possibly arrive between 9am & 2pm. Better yet, we called the 24 hours helpline twice, spoke to an actual person and asked if there is anyway that we could still rent a unit that day. They said someone would call us back but they never even bothered. So here we are at 3:30 in the afternoon, 100 miles from home, with half our house in a trailer that we only rented for a day on Saturday, and these people will only reopen on MONDAY at 9 or 930am. Luckily there were at least 5 other storage facilities in the area that were all open to at least 5:00pm, and the one we chose had superb customer service, and even matched the price we were quoted from this place.

But I've had to rent many a storage bin, in all the different states we've lived in across the country. Stewartsville Storage is at the top of my list, along with the storage facility we used in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. This facitlity is clean, they have cameras on site and generous access to the facility. The owners have also been extremely helpful. They even allowed us to have PackRat drop off our pods there when we moved in, so that we could unload into the storage bin - most other facilities would not permit that. We were renting a townhome when we moved back, and it was also during Hurricane Sandy, so the fact that Todd at Stewartsville was so accomodating to us was what won him our business. We've rented from them for almost 2 years, no problems - and we had no issues when we switched to a smaller rental space or when we closed the bin this weekend. I highly recommend them to anyone in the area who needs storage. Their prices are also extremely reasonable for storage space. Thanks, Todd and staff for a great 2 years!

I tried to tip the man, and he wouldn't take it because he said it's part of his job! My house is done be refinished, and no longer need storage, but will def go back if ever needed again! Security is tight with 24 hour cameras and desk clerks who ID everyone in a party at the entrance. Be sure to list everyone possible that is allowed access or they will be denied. Marge closed early today during day lights savings time. Which I did not realize it was daylights…read moresavings and that the clocks had changed. I arrived at what I thought was 3pm but it turned out it was 3:58 when I pulled into the parking lot. We rang the bell and there was no answer. Then Marge the thin older woman with short gray hair and glasses told my family member she closed 15 minutes early. She would not let us in and then said she was with a customer and shut the door in my families face. When I went up to speak to her and ask her why she wouldn't let us in I couldn't hear her because she didn't even have the curtesy to open the door. Instead she kept the door closed and kept speaking which was inaudible to me. Then she put four fingers up to which I put up 3. Then I thought I heard her say do you want me to call the police?Then she brought out her phone That showed 4:01. She then proceeded talking to her supposed customer, who I have seen previously picking her up and dropping her off. I left and parked at the corner to decipher what to do after a two hour drive there. I was looking up laundromats nearby when thought to look and see the times posted because I thought they changed them. When I noticed it was 4:30, Marge would not allow me to unload my items which would have taken 15 minutes but she had no problem with the woman dropping her off and picking her up being there until 4:30 and after. I parked in the parking lot to call the owner and speak to her about the way I was treated and ended up leaving a message.As I was passing down towards the laundromat a police car headed down towards the storage facility. Marge indeed called the police on me for trying to go to my storage while being ethnic and dark skinned. Paying $120 dollars in cash the day prior. Adding to my payment thus far of $5000 almost for the last three almost four years. This woman pulled a epic racist card and called the police on me. So after having been at my storage about five times in three almost four years and almost $5000 dollars this is how I was treated by Marge. I would love a response from the owner on how my money is good enough to take but my presence in their parking lot while using my gps isn't. I've never had an issue at this storage place and I was absolutely stunned and disgusted by this woman's behavior. Which was uncalled for racist and ignorant.

This Location is always Clean, organized, well run, with only newer rental equipment on site. I have always experienced Fast service from employees who were knowledgeable, attentive, and genial. It's important to note that in general other U-Haul rental locations I have experienced over the years are less than helpful, often having just a few newer rental items with the bulk of their inventory being beat up, old, and still expensive. The difference here is this location is a U-haul rental center and not a third party vendor handling U-haul rentals as part of their overall business. I highly recommend this U-Haul location. I have never had anything but good experiences here and have never arrived to find my requested rental is not available, as happens constantly at third party U-Haul rental vendors. Save yourself a lot of stress on your moving event by choosing this location.

They went above and beyond to help me find a moving company…read moreand when none of them were available they contacted their husband and he was able to help me move out of my apartment into my new home. I cannot thank them enough for everything. This is my favorite U-HAUL location for a very good reason and the price was very reasonable too. The facility and trucks were nice and clean as well.
