I hired this company based on the positive reviews and yelp guarantee, however I was very disappointed. Firstly, the movers were extremely lazy and clearly did not want to do the job. I was clear up front before booking that I lived in an apartment on the 2nd and 3rd floors and had belongings in the basement. The guys they sent were very out of shape and winded after the first 10 minutes of going up and down the stairs. They were going so slow that my husband and I started to help move. My husband and I moved everything from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor for them. We also moved most everything from the basement to the street. What were the movers doing during this time you ask? Smoke breaks, runs to the corner store, standing around, and gazing into the distance while my husband and I did their job. At one point, my husband found all 3 movers sitting in the truck in our dining room chairs smoking in a circle. I get you need breaks, but most of their time was breaks. They were better with unloading the truck at the new house, although still not great. Throughout the day we overheard them complaining about the job when they didn't know we were around. I'm not saying it was an easy job- but if you want an easy job don't be a mover. It is tough work no matter what! Lastly, in the new house they attempted to push the dining room hutch across the WOOD floors with NO sliders underneath. I'm not sure if they were stupid or lazy or both, but that obviously resulted in huge scratches in the newly finished wood floor. The company did acknowledge the damage they caused and sent a technician, but you really can't fix deep scratches like that. Our floor in our new house is permanently damaged. I shared all this feedback with one of the managers James and it didn't seem like he cared at all. I would never recommend this company based on my experience. These guys are amazing. I had an extremely heavy and fragile all-glass cabinet that needed to be moved. They came in, assessed the work, was extremely polite and professional and moved the 500 pound cabinet efficiently and without a scratch. Movers came on time, were polite and overall productive. I didn't give a 5 star rating because my furniture were not wrapped in the blankets I provided. I specifically asked if they would be wrapped and they said it was easier to hold them without being wrapped and they would do it downstairs before placing them in the truck. When I arrived at my final destination; we noticed both sofa and loveseat which were beige in color were not wrapped and placed in the truck. Really upsetting considering I mentioned to them that items were going into storage. Called the manager who offered to refund my tip and add another $50 for the inconvenience. read more

They claim to be fully insured but they damaged my house and then said I was supposed to buy extra insurance if I wanted to be protected from their negligence. They refuse to pay for the damage caused to my home by their workers. Do not use this company! I removed the tree myself while your worker observed. They could have gone up the front stairs. They didn't have to go the way they did. They decided to do that not me! They damaged my house you should cover the repair! read more

I recently moved from NY to PA with We Haul Moving and overall, the experience was great. I mostly communicated with James and Rob prior to my move and both were extremely friendly and understanding/knowledgeable. James was especially accommodating with some of my requests and I really appreciated the down to earth customer service with them, that you rarely come across with alternatively larger corporate moving companies. The only reason I didn't give my experience with them a full 5 stars is because on the day of the move, unfortunately despite confirming with them the day before, they did not arrive prepared with the supplies we had discussed (mattress bag, wardrobe boxes, TV boxes) or prepared for the walk up I was moving out of. This was a bummer but the guys that moved us - Steve and Lance - generally kept up a really positive attitude throughout and were resourceful/able to create makeshift solutions to make up for the lack of materials on-site, which I did really appreciate. Steve and Lance were friendly and professional, both also super helpful in communicating when they were about to arrive at my apartment and when they had arrived at the destination. In the end, we were all moved in one piece and no one was rude which is what mattered to me, so I'd use their services again and recommend them if you're having trouble deciding on a moving company. Their prices were also reasonable and well broken down which is transparency you don't often get. I would just recommend calling them the morning of your move to triple check all the details. I should have hired this moving company, and I am posting this to help out anyone else who has a situation like I had. We Haul came to my house and met with me. They looked at all of my things and gave me a "not to exceed" estimate. I ended up selling a bunch of my furniture, so my bill with them would have been even less in the end. They charge by weight plus mileage, and they don't pawn you off on a subcontractor. They would have been the right choice. Don't make the same mistake I made by not hiring them. I didn't go with We Haul because I needed to do a long distance move, and I thought I would be better off hiring a long distance moving company - the kind that picks up stuff from multiple people at once and delivers later. I thought surely this would cost less. However, the company I chose didn't give me a "not to exceed" estimate. They just provided an estimate based on my filling out a big inventory list. Even after I sold some furniture, the price I got from the other movers didn't save me money. Plus they added over $100 on the day of the move because they apparently charge by the square foot instead of weight. Even worse, they caused me a dozen other problems regarding scheduling and payment methods. I wish I could go back in time and hire We Haul. read more

Hired this company to move my already packed boxes into storage back in September 2021. 8 months later, after buying a house and having the same company move the stuff again...I find that I was MISSING PROPERTY! Immediately I called and explained what was going on, only to be met with an attitude that was "not our problem". I would NEVER NEVER NEVER hire this company again! Not after PAYING THEM to steal from me and then act like they don't care! Smfh. Thats not nice. On a positive note, the men that I met (that moved the boxes FROM storage) were professional and kind. Moving day, the guys were over an hour late, they had a previous delivery. Three guys, Anthony, Louie, and Jamal. They were amazing. Four years ago, we used them to move 10 miles. They were excellent, friendly, and fast. Not one single complaint. Used them this past June to pack 2 PODS, and again, they were great other than grossly underestimating the time it would take them, so the price was much more than expexcted. Then in July they came to unpack the PODS. Left me with a demolished hutch to my desk that was hidden under a blanket and a missing pad for a piece of equipment. Emailed company with photos, no response. Called and left a message, no response. They don't answer the phone when I call or return my calls. During the delivery of a mattress the following was observed by 2 men delivering the mattress : Younger man instructing the older man where to pick up the mattress to lift it several times Home owner suggesting how to turn the mattress to get it into the door more effectively to avoid damaging the door Constant breaks which resulted in the delivery taking over an hour Large hole and long dent in ceiling/wall but the 2 men said "at least no one got hurt " After the damage, it took 2 months for the ceiling to be patched with constant phone calls by the home owner to get it finished. I also missed work to be home on one date only to be told they won't make it out for the repair. Given a 3 hr window of when they would arrive and then showing up an hour after that window and I had to call to find out where they were. To match the paint to finish the repair,one man took a paint swatch but then only painted part of the ceiling and wall where the damage occurred and the paint didn't match!! I had to buy 2 cans of paint and repaint the whole ceiling and wall after all of that!! Extremely disappointed in the delivery, repair and customer service. read more

I can't recommend them enough! Responsive, on time, everything reached safe. My friends have been having such a hard time recently with their moves but mine was smooth thanks to them! The people who loaded the truck were quick and friendly. The ones who unloaded worked non stop and fast. I had never seen the new apartment (long distance move from PA to TX and I picked the apartment online). Excellent customer service! Setting up the quote was also super easy and affordable, about half the price as other quotes I got. When the two movers arrived at my storage unit, unfortunately the elevator key was not available for them as I thought and so they had to go up and down a flight of stairs that took them twice as long with a bunch of furniture and around 15 boxes. They never once made me feel bad about the key and took the challenge in stride. To top it off, on their way to the drop off, two of their truck tires went flat that ended up delaying things for an hour as they needed a tire change. They did not go home until 9 PM for a job that was started at 2 PM and this job was their third job of the day. They worked hard and kept going and did not complain to me once!! The best was their boss didn't charge me extra or deviate from the original estimate even though the missing elevator key was technically my fault that ended up making it twice as hard for the guys. Needless to say, I gave both the movers a deserved generous tip. I highly recommend this company! read more

I base my decision on reviews and when I call how professional and By talking to a company I get a feeling whether they are for me. I am a moving company so It's business to business and let me tell you what from my first phone call I was totally impressed, confirmed that I was on my way to PA 5 days prior and just over the top on how easy it is to work with these folks. Honestly. The morning of the delivery Jamie called 15 minutes prior to start time and let me know that they were onsite. I met Jamie & Lewis and was immediately impressed, I knew my client would like these guys. Clean cut, well spoken and professional as well as easy going. We met the client and these guys made it look easy, 3rd floor, small elevator, lots of doors to get to the apartment and they never rushed but were done in no time. They make it look easy.
