Battery died on his drill and didn't have a proper toolset. That part was a nightmare. I ended up having to reassemble my bed myself. They put the couch unwrapped in the truck next to my bike and it got chain oil all over the couch. They did hire a steam cleaner to come and clean my couch and got the stain out. Like I said they did get the job done, but I was not as happy with the service as I could have been considering the price was similar to others in the area. Hopefully this review will help them identify weaknesses and improve their service in the future. In general, I don't think I would let any mover disassemble and reassemble my furniture in the future. This is the second time I have used movers to do this and both times it was not done properly. Better to take the extra time to do it myself and know it will be done right.

Booking them was a breeze. I just called, told them what I needed and when, and voila! the hunks showed up as scheduled! They were even able to accommodate some last minute requests I had to make. The "hunks" themselves were delightful: polite, efficient, hard-working young men who are a credit to their generation. Two of them loaded a pod with the belongings I wanted to take with me to Minnesota. Five of them came about a week later to clear out the things I wanted to donate or dispose of. I wish I had "before" photos of what my house looked like before College Hunks came in: messy, incredibly dusty bc of my admittedly poor housekeeping skills. Without a single complaint, they cleared away 4.5 truckloads of "stuff" in no time, and even swept the floors when they were done. I could tell they enjoyed and took pride in their work. Photos show the pristine condition of the house when they were done. Thank you, guys. You know, I've moved several times in the course of my 30-year career, and every move was a pain in the *ss....til now. You actually made this a memorably pleasant experience.

BAD BUSINESS!!! My…read moresister Jennifer used College Hunks franchise from Allentown to move on July 28, 2025. They guys damaged furniture and broke keys off in the locks on her toolboxes. She confronted them on the day of the move and they acknowledged that they did this in error. My sister opened a claim to have them repair/replace the keys with a locksmith because she is unable to get to her tools. As a recent widow - hence the need to move - she was doing everything by herself. Now she needs to hang shelves and TV's in her new home without her husband and she can't get inside the toolboxes to use his tools. She has called this company every week since her move. The phone number they give is to a call center and not the franchise owner himself. They keep telling her that someone will call or email her from the franchise - but they never do. Today she called and was told by someone named Evita that her claim was denied. She called me crying. She said they denied her claim because the movers said she told them to leave the keys in the locks. Who in the world would tell the movers to leave keys in locks? She gave them the keys so that could lock the drawers of the toolboxes so that they would not fly open when they moved them. I called and spoke to Calvin who said that there is no resolution that he could see in his system, and the claim appears open on their end, but he did see a note that said Jennifer was told the claim was denied - but he didn't know why. He said he would escalate a message to the franchise, and they would respond via email. I asked Calvin for a phone number for the franchise and was told they did not have one - everything was done through messaging. On a side note, on the day of her move, I spoke to my sister several times. They moved a shed and placed it hanging off the edge of the concrete pad it was supposed to be centered on. She said she smelled marijuana and assumed the guys were smoking pot. She also said one of them inappropriately flirted and made remarks to her. Having recently become a widow, I can assure you that she did nothing to encourage that outrageous behavior. They also broke a lamp and hid it behind a stack of boxes that she didn't find until weeks later. It was also a costly move. My sister was charged much more than the quote she received. And now on top of that, she will need to pay for a locksmith herself. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I will be making several reviews and calling the Better Business Bureau if they do not reach out to my sister by end of the week to make this right.
