This company is HORRIBLE! They were rushing getting to someone's appointment because they were running behind on time and ended up hitting me while looking at her phone and gps changed and told her to make a right and she didn't see me next to her in a two lane road. The manager (a guy) was yelling at the woman for getting into an accident! Everything was cordial between Tiffany and I and then she ended up LYING to the insurance company saying I hit them! Thankfully the insurance company isn't stupid enough to believe that. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY IF THIS IS HOW THEY ARE GOING TO RUN A COMPANY! **NOT STORE REVIEW, BUT VERIZON/ASURION PHONE REVIEW** There was a little damage on my iPhone and I pay the monthly insurance. The phone's screen was turning green and black on and off. When I called Verizon they documented all my information and transferred me to an Asurion associate (SOLOMON MOHAMMED) to assist. The guy had a strong Indian accent so assume this was an Indian call center. The Asurion associate assured me he would take care of my problem. Honestly, there was so much static on the Asurion's side of the phone. I could hear yelling and cheering in the background like the guy was at a party or something. He confirmed my account and said that I qualified, noted backup phone numbers incase we got disconnected. Then, typed something on his computer and told me they have the same model iPhone was in stock and that they would have it delivered to my house the next day via UPS. He confirmed my shipping address and asked if I would like it to require signature or not. Then, he proceeded to ask if my iPhone was on the FindMyPhone app. He told me to go ahead and remove it. At this point, I asked why because I had not backed up my data yet and they usually do this after the phone has been shipped to transfer the phone number. He reassured me no worries, I promise you your data will not be lost. If you do not go through this step, I will have to charge you a $300 fee. I asked him if he was 100% sure, because I could go back up my data first and then call him back. He kept saying don't worry, no need, you will not lose any data and there is no way to reset the phone until the new phone is delivered. So I went ahead and follow his steps and removed the phone from my FindMyPhone app. Again, his reception kept coming in and out and then we got disconnected. He never called me back on my phone or the backup phone number I provided him. I assumed everything was good, and was going to be shipped like he promised the next day. When I looked at my iPhone, it was in the factory reset settings with the "Hello" screen and which language would you like to use to setup your phone. I was so mad but hopeful that the Asurion associate promised me that I would not lose my data. I call Verizon and they again transfer me again and again from Verizon to Asurion back to Verizon and then back to Asurion. We reach a Asurion associate PAMELA JOY who reassures us she can fix the problem and bring the data back, that just because we see that screen it does not mean we lost the data. We did not want to go through the phone setup, we were afraid if we did it would overwrite the data from before. The sales associate promised don't worry it will not. She walked us through the setup process (which we already know how to follow the screen instructions) we just thought she would be able to do something on her end to bring the data back. After the phone was setup, we told her we still do not see my old photos or data - and then she says, I don't know, I cannot help you. WTF? She assured us repeatedly and then we get to a point and she tells us she further screwed up our phone. She transfers us back to Verizon. Verizon tells us the contract this work to Tier 2 who is Asurion and Verizon does not take responsibility for what Asurion has done. We ask when is the replacement phone coming, the Verizon guy tells us he does not have anything on record saying that there is a phone being shipped to us. We get further agitated. The Asurion associate from earlier had gathered all my PII data and confirmed the replacement iPhone was ordered and being delivered Next Day by UPS. Then Verizon says that in his records Asurion is saying we don't qualify for a replacement. At this point, we are furious. We have been on the phone all day with Verizon and Asurion. It's 10:30pm at night at this point, and everything the HELP Desk has done has made everything WORSE. So now they are telling us they reset our iPhone with my phone not being backed up and I've lost ALL my data including my infant baby's photos and college graduation photos that I can never get back. And also, they're not sending another phone replacement despite the insurance fees we've paid Verizon for the last 10 years. This last Verizon associate then says I will transfer you. We wait for over an hour on hold and then he hangs up on us. This has been the WORST experience ever. Verizon/Asurion has taken our money and lost our data. Their Help Desk teams have no clue what they are doing!! There's no one to help or escalate poor, shoddy work. It seems the sales associates are just playing games with the customers, switching people around for hours and then hanging up. Beyond frustrating! Is there any way to get my data and precious pictures on my phone back??? read more

My iPhone wasn't catching a charge so they recommended to change battery so I did, which was $160, and it still had the same issues so now I know it's the port having issues. They should have known it was the port so now they wanna charge more money to change the port when they should have done it the first time. It's $170 to swap out the port but offered a $50 discount which is BS because the change of battery was unnecessary and the money I paid for the battery should of went to pay for the new port. I will not use them again and do not recommed goin there. read more

I was emailed that my phone was "ready for pickup" so I traveled to the store to find the doors locked (Thursday 11:30 a.m.), the alarm inside blaring and 6 people waiting (some for 2 hours) to pick up their phones after also receiving emails to pick up their devices. Absolutely horrible. (follow-up) Forgot to plug in my wifi antenna!!!! (Original message) So I had to take my computer to the Microcenter the next day after the finally gave me my computer back I was told my repair would be 2-weeks. Once they had my computer, they could NEVER give me a firm date when I would get it. I had to call headquarters to actually get my computer repaired. It took them a total of 8-weeks. When I got my computer back, my computer would not pick up my wi-fi signal or the signal was weak. All of my other devices showed strong signals. Before I took this device to Ubreakifix, it had a strong signal too. When I took it home, unless I literally (and I'm not joking) set my laptop on lop of the modem, it wouldn't get a signal. I have no idea what they did to my computer, but they had it for 8-weeks. Before, I could walk all over my 1090 square foot home with absolutely no problem and always go a strong signal. DO NOT TRUST THEM TO FIX ANYTHING OR REPAIR ANYTHING. I can't prove they did something, but my complaint to headquarters to get my computer back sure didn't help. All I see is the last little wi-fi dot looking at me and my modem is 2 feet away. Back for more repairs at another shop. Sigh. read more

I put a large deposit down at the 41st Street Asurion in Baltimore for a samsung repair and they never called me to tell me that the glass had been delivered. So I call weeks later, no answer, ever. I drive by and the store is closed with a note on the door apologizing for inconvenience. I've tried calling other Asurion store in Baltimore but cannot get thru. Maybe they are good - BUT do NOT put down a deposit. read more

Broke my device while trying to replace the screen. Very poor, non-existent communication, had me make a trip out to pick it up after being told it was ready, and told me on arrival that they couldnt fix it. It was clear it had been damaged by them trying to remove the factory-installed screen. Tried to tell me the housing for the screen was damaged 'when i dropped it' (I hadn't) rather than admit they did it and caused irreparable damage themselves. Zero follow-up, and no apology. They made money refurbing and reselling all the other parts of my device, and likely also selling my personal info. I got not only no refund, but no apology either. read more

"[Wednesday] Can you fix my phone, it has a bad LCD screen?" Yes, but we have to order the part. "Ok, when will it be here?" Friday, we'll call you when it arrives. "Ok, see you Friday." No call. Call Saturday. "Is the part there? Yes, but we can't fix it until Tuesday. "[Irritation] Ok, see you Tuesday". "[Tuesday] Can you fix my phone?" No, its a Tracfone. "Who cares its a mechanical/screen problem!" We can't put that into our system so we can't fix your phone. "Why didn't you tell me this a week ago?" Sorry, everybody is new here and nobody knows what's going on and we have no technicians to do the work anyway. "Can I buy the LCD screen that you ordered for me so I can either fix it myself or have someone else do it?' No, we can't sell the the part. My family has three 6s iPhones that all needed new batteries. I had problems finding a shop that would do this, as Apple apparently no longer supports this. uBreakiFix was able to get all three new batteries installed in one afternoon. The phones are all now properly holding a charge. read more
