I was told to go here by Samsung simply to be told that cosmetic scratches voided MY 3 months old Samsung Z Fold 6. Instead I have to pay $250 to get a refurbished $2000.00 phone. The customer service sucked, he didn't even tell me what was wrong with the phone or offer any type of diagnostic. He seen the scratches and shut down giving any advice or suggestions.. I will call Samsung and give them a earfull. I'm a customer experience manager and if I were to ever hear of one of my associates giving this type of half hearted effort to ANY CUSTOMER, they would be reintroduced to a training class.. Oh boy! Where to begin? How about - RUN, RUN AWAY BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!! Went to get a battery replaced under warranty. They broke my screen in the process so 'gave' me a new screen. Didn't glue it down correctly so took it back a week later and they said I broke it. No, I didn't! So eventually after much arguing and the use of common sense, they agreed to fix it. A week later, my navigation buttons don't work and I realize the screen is hanging off again. Take it back to be told I broke it and will have to buy a new screen. WHAT?!? No, sir! If it 'breaks' that quickly and easily then you didn't fix it correctly. How about that reasoning? I ALSO NEVER ASKED FOR A NEW SCREEN!!!! I would never have gotten the battery replaced if I knew I'd end up here. Now working with corporate who wants me to light more hoops on fire to dive through. This company is trash asf, I did a claim to get my phone fixed scheduled the appointment.. time slot was 9-11am, decided to miss class cause my screen needs to be fixed, they called to say he was running behind I said okay that's fine I'm here. 5pm rolls around I call them to see what's going on, he is still behind and won't be able to make it today.. okay that's fine I guess reschedule, BRUH I had to start a whole new claim and now I'm waiting for them to call and confirm my claim to be able to schedule another appointment or be even able to take it in myself, then while I'm on the phone they have the NERVE to offer me a plan for repair services for my tv's and whatever else electronics they could cover in my house.. I think tf not, y'all can't even handle getting my phone repaired or even communicating with me about my repair services, I'm good. Made an appointment via Samsung insurance claim. Went in and the employee confirmed that insurance covered. He let me know that he would call when complete. Next day, no call from them so I call to confirm that my phone is ready. I go in and a different employee says I owe $400. Claiming user physical damage. Wow. Dude, why did you claim it would be covered after I confirmed multiple times? I had already confirmed that it would be covered, otherwise I would not have gone with the repair. Without notifying me, they repaired it at cost. The only resolution was to have my phone put back to its original state. Great, another day wasted and of course he says he will call me when complete. Next day, of course no call. I call to confirm that my phone has been put back to its broken state. Nope, but that's okay I can go after work. I call after work (been over 6 hours at this point) and ask about my phone. The same employee says, "didn't I tell you 2 to 4 hours?!"--Yes you did, it's been over 6. Very intelligent. He then fumbles and says "oh right yeah it's ready" These people run you around with lies and will definitely NOT call you or respect your time. The employee who handled my calls was extremely unprofessional and kept rolling his eyes. I never once raised my voice or was combative, just shocked that people like that could hold a job down. I've been to other uBreakiFix locations with no issues so it was extremely disappointing to see the brand tarnish because of employees who don't want to be there. read more

Attempted to drop off two laptops we were having issues with. Shane greeted me with an attitude and was pretty rude immediately. Told him the issues I knew of and asked if he could run a diagnostic. I wasn't entirely sure. Stated he needs more information than that. So basically wanted me the customer to tell him how to fix it. I don't know that's why I'm bringing it to them. He seemed more concerned and eager to take his smoke break. As I was leaving he followed me outside and lit a cigarette. Horrible customer service. I went to the website and booked an appointment at the closest location to fix my switch that wasn't turning on. I went to the store and they said they actually didn't work with switch and told me to go to the downtown location. I was pretty surprised because the website specifically asks which device I needed to fix and the downtown location does not even have the switch option. I went to downtown-they said it would take some time so I left my switch there and said I will hear from them in a couple days. They never contacted me so I called them first. I had to reach out to a number that wasn't even the number of the technician handling my request. They told me the price to fix everything saying my switch need a new chip and it was pretty expensive-about $200, which is money that could be used to buy a new switch. So I said I will not fix it and will pick it up. The guy on the phone, Daniel, said I can pick it up the day after. When I went the next day, they said it was not ready to be picked up and I had to come back another day. I had just gotten off work, drove all the way there to pick up my broken switch, that I'm not ever going to fix anyway because it's too expensive, and they said no. So I come back (and this time I called just to make sure it was ready) 3 weeks later, and they showed me my switch. It came with random controllers. Keep in mind, I did not provide my controllers to them. Not only were they inefficient, but they were also not careful and mixed up my switch with someone else's. Then, they asked for a minimum labor fee even though they didn't fix anything. This was not communicated beforehand, but I paid it anyway because I wanted to be done. This is a very odd place. It felt more of a con than a legitimate biz. I went there via Verison that said I could fix my phone free. I was told $35 to clean the charging portal (not certain of technical term) Then over $100 if part had to be ordered. The service rep said i had not requested the right service. What I had written is that I was having problems charging my phone. That described my situation. So they replaced my battery on my Ipad Pro and it cost $269. It worked for 2 months then it just hung on the apple logo and when I went back to them he said it looked bent and the motherboard board was fried. I never ever dropped it or sat on ot or anything I think they bent it when replacing the battery and then he tried to keep my receipts and didn't give me back one receipt wading it up the receipt that said my Ipad was in A grade condition. The techs here did a great job doing a factory reset for her phone and making it work in 30 min! She was even able to get all of her apps and data back. I really liked their service in being thorough and making sure that it worked before letting us leave. They had us wait a couple extra minutes to ensure that the software update went through. This place is bad. I used them a couple of years ago and remember the only reason I got good service then was because they had ONE guy there who was smart and treated people decently. I wish I remembered his name but I don't. Today I went in with an issue on my MacBook Air. First I got a young kid who looked and acted like a zombie. Then another guy came from the back and I thought ok great, an adult. He was rude from the start, wouldn't listen, lectured me without even trying to find the problem. Know-it-all-type who actually knows nothing. Immediately blamed it on AT&T. Turns out it had nothing to do with AT&T. Another Mac savvy tech helped me fix it with laptop settings and it was something ANY technician worth his salt should know. He also totally disputed something one of his colleagues had told me about another issue, and was wrong. Don't trust this place! Awful service, awful people! This is a bad review because they completely wasted my time. I need a screen repaired on my old phone and this place is close so I figured I'd try them out. It was Sunday morning around 10am, they opened at 12, but their website said I could get an appointment for 2pm so I did that. I entered what phone model I have and what I needed done, and booked the appointment. In hindsight, I should've just waited until noon and called them, but I went the appointment route and showed up at 2pm only to be informed that they don't have the correct screen to make that repair and they cannot order it. So they didn't do any actual work for me, but they completely wasted my time by setting up an appointment for me to make a repair for which they did not have the parts on hand. Unsatisfied & won't be giving them another chance since there are other reliable options out there for me. read more

I made an appointment with them for a back glass repair on my green iPhone 11 I made the appointment on Monday for the following Saturday when I got there they told me they didn't have the part and offered to put a white one on. I was really annoyed because I made an appointment and you would think see that an appointment was made they would order the necessary parts for the repair. I have a Pixel 3a and when my screen cracked, I was sent here by my phone's insurance company. Been here two times and both times left so impressed by staff's professionalism. (Used up the insurance rather quickly but things happen unexpectedly when your toddler likes to grab things or "help"out). Thank goodness there is Ubreakifix. Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and polite people here. I don't know how to praise them more but if you have any problems with your phone, come here and they will take good care of you. The estimated wait time they give out is dependable so you can either wait nearby (we went to Hopdoddy burger across the street then later grocery shopped at Walmart) or come back the next day. Scam. I had a cracked screen on my Samsung Galaxy S8 and the insurance (Asurion) suggested this location to get my phone fixed. Once I got there, the guy asked me general questions about my phone and whether or not there was more damage than just the cracked screen, I said no. He said he would run a diagnostic and would let me know if there was any internal damage -- groovy. Not exaggerating, *seconds* later he comes back saying there was more damage and that he would be unable to fix. He said the next steps were to either replace the phone or buy a new one. But wait, it took *seconds* to run a diagnostic? Additionally, was I supposed to take his word for it? No, so I asked if he could print a diagnostic stating my phone was actually damaged, he didn't do this. Instead the tech wrote an internal note on the ticket I had open with the insurance, and entered *his* diagnosis with awful spelling. **Only come here if you like playing the BS game.** read more

Brought my surface pro 4 in for service on a Tuesday for a swelling battery. Was quoted $99 - $299. Sat for 2 days. No call from tech. You have to call a 737 number which goes to a support line. They don't let you contact the store directly. Even if you ask for their landline AT THE STORE they don't give it to you. The 737 line will call the store for you while you sit on hold. I had to do the twice to get any person on the phone. I got fed up day 3 of them telling me a tech will call but never follow through. Had to go to the store and pull my untouched computer from the store. read more

Then, I had to return it again for a broken home button that did not work on day 2. The 2nd repair took another week. I regret having it fixed for almost $200 which did not yield the instant gratification as expected. I should have just processed through insurance. They told me 48 hour turnaround that has turned into about 3 weeks back and forth total time. I had token an iPad and he definitely convinced me everything was gonna be perfect right after. 3 weeks after I picked up up note I payed 50$ deposit and 50$ when picked it up. The iPad had water damage all over the screen and same as I took it in. When I took it the. Screen was perfect no scratches picked it up it was super scratched he blamed it on trying to fix it.
