Tried getting my nails and feet done for the first time as it was close to my home and I had the worst experience ever. The pregnant Asian lady at the front desk was very rude with me and my children. I refuse to give my money to an establishment that has no professional etiquette. Save yourself the money and time. Customer service is horrible, one of the ladies made me bleed when she was cutting my cuticles and not only that but she didn't remove all the nail polish from my toes and just painted over it! This place deserves 0 stars. After being a loyal customer since 2007, before they moved locations. I was told to leave if I didn't liked the service. I obviously never came for the friendly staff. This has been my go to nail salon even when they where at their other location on Atlantic blvd. I have been going with Vicki for years and so do my fitness and family, but today was one of the worst experience EVER! I called to make an appointment and the front desk lady said they do not make appointments due to being short staffed well if your a professional nail salon it dsnt matter if ur fully staffed or not you still make appointments. So I finally got to the salon and the front desk person (which is I believe the owner) is so STUPID and inconpetent to do her job! Been here two times it's not a typical nail salon they have everything well organized. Spa chairs, manicuring booths, waxing room, and waiting area. I'm giving this place TWO Stars only because Andy does decent nails. However the pedicures are another story. I just returned from this place and this is my third time getting a pedicure there. Let me share my experience.. I walk in and request a manicure and pedicure and of course just like almost every nail shop I was told it would be a 15 minute wait but it was more like 30 minutes. Next I was given the nail polish swatch to select a color from which I picked a deep red. Moments later my pedicure begins. First of all, everytime I say something the lady doing my pedicure has to keep turning and asking another worker to translate what I am saying. blah! Secondly, she beginsto cuts my toe nails in totally uneven manner. In other words my left toe and right toe were not cut equally. I understand nails will not be perfect however, it was very noticable. Third, the pedicurist added acetone to the polish I selected so as the application begins the color is not the same as it is on the swatch. After I try communicating that to her she proceeds to ask her coworker to translate that.blah blah! The other worker starts getting irritated and is telling me that the color on the swatch was applied four times as a sample. My response to her was that I want the color on the swatch and that perhaps the color is not appearing the way it should because the polish being uses is old and was diluted with acetone. In addition, perhaps there should be a note stating "Colors are not as dark as they appear". She tells me in an irritated manner that she will instruct her to add more coats. This repeated itself another time until she finally pulls a brand new polish from the back. Guess what? Now the color was the same on the swatch! Anyway, my pedicure was completed althoughby this time I was annoyed myself so I did not even bother to remind them that I had also requested a manicure and that they forgot about me and began working on other customers. I will definitely NOT return for pedicures and will only go if in urgent need of acrylic nails and only to Andy which is why I am giving this place the two stars. I have been coming to this nail salon for 8 years and to the same person (Bryan). They are a very clean place I highly recommend it. They also take appointments but if you are more than 10 minutes late they will not take you and only take appointments one week before. True it's very clean and friendly . However the quality is bad. I went for a gel manicure and it began chipping within 5 days. The place I went to prior -on long beach blvd- was better quality. My gel nails lasted 2 weeks then I myself started to peel them off because I wanted a different color. If not they would have probably lasted longer. I did not get my money's worth here. read more

I like the work they do in this place but the wait is ridiculous ... I been coming to this place for almost 1 yr. Sad to say because I love the way they wax my eyebrow, but I won't be coming back no more because unlike the other clients that have reviewed this place, my experience with this place has not been pleasant. Long story short last time I was there they made me wait 1hr & I never got called so I got up & left. To say the least other times they skip me 1 or 2 times. They don't treat everyone the same i guess it depends what you look like because when I use 2 go I will spend $$$,so its not a money issue I guess they have favortisim for some clients. I went to this place because a friend recommended me to go here...don't know who she went to but the guy that did my mani, full set gel nails was really bad. He cut two of my fingers once while taking off my cuticle and another when filing my nails. The nail art really sucked even though it was super basic - rhinestones on two nails only on the edge of the nail - pretty basic...yeah, it looked sloppy and he ended up giving me extras and super glue in case they fell off! I was in a hurry and had an event in the evening so there was no way I could go elsewhere - like my usual place :( not to mention that it took him nearly 2 hours to do it all Mani, Full Set, Get art - like really!??!! smh read more

The lady in the front had this face like "f*ck not another customer" and it turns out they were closing at 7 and 3 ppl were ahead of me. I am very picky when it comes to my nails and this is my favorite nail spa thus far! I've been coming here for a few years now and have always has a pleasant experience. The establishment is very clean. Andy is my nail artist and he's the best! He's very meticulous and a perfectionist. For pedicures Anna is great. Wendy is also good with pedis. Appointments are recommended because like anything good, there's always a wait. . . I see many negative reviews based on the customer service. Truth is very seldom will you find a nail salon with good c.s. Let's face it, there's a huge language barrier in the nail salon world. No need to take things personally. read more
